- Three dead Motorola RAZR V3xxs sit in front of me. Can anything be done with these parts?

@RetroComms got a similar v3 razer but its a v3i variant (bought 2 other ones just for parts to repair mine), mine turns on (no outer or inner display) when sim is entered and the razr is called it rings , but no keypad light or display (outer or inner), any thoughts on what the issue might be , or anyone else got any clue. It was a phone that i really liked and kept it even though i thought it was dead
@MysticExodus Sounds board level to me. Either that, or you have loose connections. Try one of the other boards in that housing. DM me on IG, and we can discuss in greater detail if needed.
are there softwares we can transfer to the phone that could do recovery to deleted photos? (like we do with wondershare on smartphones) ?
Good question! There may be tools that interface directly with the storage chips, but that's something you'd likely have to consult a professional data recovery service for, as I do not possess such skills or knowledge.
@@retrocomms I couldn't find someone who deals with these old phones.. and on google i only could find motorola tools to access my existing files through the PC, not a software to recover :/

I'll happily assist! It's most likely a bad battery, but I'd have to see it in person to diagnose. Are you in the US?
@@retrocomms unfortunately I'm in the UK. I've inserted a sim but it's saying contact provider and nothing else. I think the battery is dead but when connecting it to a charger the screen comes on, but when i unplug it the screen goes off again. Any idears on what to do next? I only want to retirve any pics or numbers from it? Thanks
@@milesthehousecollection4153 Try different SIM cards. Needs to one from the same provider. And if it comes up for you then, Bluetooth the pics to yourself.

Can you extract pics from an old razr? With broken screen. I have two
What I'd have to do is put their motherboards into frames with working screens. If the motherboard is still good, I can do it. Are you located in the US?

@@retrocomms that's correct! Shame you couldn't get it fully working though, and those other boards. They looked pretty digusting. :/ But you told me what happend on call yesterday, I guess that life of the phone was it's last thing it could do.
Please don’t get rid of the razr V3xx that’s sound did not work! The ringer setting needs to be changed in the “initial setup”
Spare parts are hard to come by. These aren't going anywhere.

on my v3xx i have a front camera but yours don't I'm guessing there's different models
On the hinge on the inside? You probably have the V3xx Ferrari Edition

@@xxslaygirllllxx6559 I consider myself pretty knowledgeable on the V3 series, but I didn't even know about them until I got on IG. Info is very sparse.
