Your vid didn't help. How to get plugins into pro tools 12 manually?
Not a helpful video at all. I already have plug ins in Cubase and want them to show up in Pro Tools which they do not. They are in the Avid plug in folder but do not show up in the DAW. This video was not helpful for me. The search continues

Being a Pro means to be able to control things. You, dear sir, have not shown how to control things manually, but merely shown some basic stuff. Things happening in the background are still unclear to me.
This video didn't help at all. The installer does all the work for you. You should have showed how to manually add a plug-in, some don't come with installers.

Hey guys, so my issue is whenever I download a plugin I don't get an installer, rather I get two files that are supposed to be put into different folders. I do that and the plugin is not installed into my pro tools. I'm sure I'm missing something really obvious but if anyone can help me, that'd be awesome haha.

So, I got a bunch of plug-ins with my audio interface but most of them are vst files. Soooooo does this mean that Pro Tools only uses AAX file plug-ins and not VST Plug-Ins? I need help!
