While not "Gundam", *M.A.S.S. Builder* basically lets you create a Gundam (and many other mobile suits from across the series) from scratch if you're creative enough.
I'm going for the Hazel Owsla, minus the Winch Cannon. To compensate, I'll re-equip the Hazel/GM Quel Submachine Gun. Or probably use the Mk II beam rifle + grenade launcher. Use a regular shield to decrease weight, and use a physical blade as the beam saber may run out of power.
I have in fact built my own custom Jegan already. It is a custom painted Ecoas Type with the leg and forearm equipment of the Start variant with a high performance space type backpack mounting a miniaturized Minobski flight system for aerial combat. In reality it’s just the two Unicorn Jegans combined with the EZSR backpack set, the Powered Arms Powerder, and the shield and carbine from the Jesta.
Of the machines on the list, I'd probably go with a Jegan, most likely a D-Type. Paint scheme would be blue with a black torso and trim. Shield with missiles on the left arm, and beam sabers on each hip. I'd use the backpack thrusters of the Stark Jegan, the standard beam rifle, and basically just tear in and engage the enemy at close-combat.
I personally went in the opposite direction, turning the D-type into a stealthy interceptor designed to hit and fade while remaining as unnoticed as possible.
@@vali6717 Fair enough. Though on second thought in considering it, I probably would just forego the shield, and use two beam sabers on each arm along with the two on the hips, for a total of six - with the mountings on the arms modified so I can just deploy them from the forearms Unicorn-style. Melee for days.
Taking it even one step further, give the Jegan the Rezel beam shield. That way you can spray and pray while not getting blown up by your own shield. Edit: For my personal MS, I’d use the jegan as well, but kitted out for CQC. I’ll use the escort type head with Vulcans on both sides, and ECOAS chest armor. The arms would be based off of the D-type for customization, with additional storage for beam magazines (right arm) and grenades (left arm). The waist would carry 2 beam sabres, and the legs would be based off of the A-type. Finally, I’d use the F91 jegan standard beam rifle with the Rezel shield, and a Stark jegan backpack. My paint scheme would be titans based.
@@Takeshi_Yamato_103 That’s cool! Everyone has their own preferences. Personally I like to shower the enemy with bullets to close the distance before striking them with a beam saber:)
I would have go with Gelgoog- because it's high mobility is incredible for using both beam blades and a beam gun. Zaku- because I like how it uses a beam bazooka to take out enemy ships and uses a mohawk to chop down some GMs. Jegan-because it could use some good upgrades to use for taking out enemy mobile suits like Rick Dom, Gallus J, and Pyscommu test type Zaku.
With how long zeon lasted, and the titans being fresher with also being less over zealous at least as a remnant. I wounder if we had a custom hazel taking on James Guns, and Javelins.
I rock a custom stark Jegan in the Breakers games. Though it's final form includes parts from both G Gundam and Wing. Using Gundam Rose's arms and the wings off wing Zero, The family of units that lead to it are called "Jegan Ark Royal" it's final form is "Jegan Ark Royal: Final Regalia"
And now I just really want a TR-6 video! With your extensive knowledge on AoZ, it would be an awesome way to help explain just how versatile this machine really is.
I love how the Jegan looks! Ever since I saw it in Char's Counterattack I've thought it was an amazing mobile suit! I feel my loadout would be the arm-mounted beam sabers on the right arm, beam rifle in the left, and a pair of missile launchers at the hips.
If i can, i will remake my jagen to have a sniper beam rifle(i love supports in gbo2) then an arm beam rifle as well as a beam rifle on the shield. Then maybe try to alter the armature thrusters to have small missle pods
I'm personally a fan of the Goof nor as customizable as most on the list but could use most of the equipment of the other Zeon suits. It also had a bunch of specialized equipment of its own that made it a beast at close to mid range.
I would get a Jegan and make it look like a Plymouth Fury, like “Christine.” The backpack always makes me think of the back tail-light fins on a car like that
If I were a Zeon Ace early in the OYW I'd rock a Zaku with the gatling option of the Cannon backpack, AMR, and twin shield config (It bugs me so damn much they put the Zaku shield on the WRONG side of the frame, the shield should be facing the enemy). I'd rock a similar setup on a Gelgoog later in the war honestly. Thinking about it I'd probably just run that similar setup on whatever suit I'd run, preferably with something like the GM Strikyer's twin-beam spear or a similar polearm plus a beam saber connected to the MS's power source (Akin to Epyon) through the arm (It ejects out the inside of the forearm right into the hand, then retracts back so no wires to get cut like Epyon's setup).
I wanted too make a wise ass remark about WhErE Is (insert suit here) but there really isn't anything else I can think of. Maybe the gm3 or Nemo? good job
Jegans are officially my favorite on this list My loadout: -Stark Jegan's Shoulder Launchers -A hybrid of the dual missile launcher from the A/R-Type and the dual beam saber rack from the Jegan B/M-Type from F91 -The Jegan EOCAS Type's visor and armor, plus the modifications Conroy Haagensen had on his machine -The standard grenade and beam saber racks of the D-Type -The standard shield -The standard Vulcan pod -The Jesta's beam rifle(it looks cooler)
I would also probably go for the Hazel Gundam but I'm also a really big fan of the Jagan. I could probably just steal it and take it to the AEUG That'd be one hell of a fan theory.
I’ll probably get myself a GM Quel, make it based off of RAY STUDIO’s GM Sniper Pro with all the pistons and such, add a 30 minute missions looking fight unit, give it a low-vis American fighter jet livery. And make sure it’s well armed and can go fast.
I would personally take a Dom-tropen(Stardust Memory). Heavily armed, heavily armored and those hover units on the feet?! Yes! I can thankful of so many weapons to customize for that suit.
My pic for custom MS during 1 year war. Gelgoog with a high mobility jetpack. Base Gelgoog Beam Rifle. Arm mounted rocket Pod on the arm with the rifle. Replace the naginata with a Beam Saber. A machine gun is on the back just in case. I'd also like it to have more thrusters and fuel capacity if possible. I'd also keep the sheild. Oh yeah, and paint it black. Cause you can have it any color u want. As long as it's black. Also, it's space, and I'd like to blend in with the background as much as possible.
Hands down I would go with a custom gelgoog high mobility cannon type which has a rick doms' bazooka equipped to the backpack instead of the beam cannon, the 110mm machine gun right arm from the marine/ground type, 3 tube missile launcher on the left arm, R1 gelgoog legs with extra propellant tanks to help with the operation time. That or the mighty Domel
Unicorn is in a bit of a limbo as to how canon it is, but my dream machine is a customised ReZEL Type-C. Given that it shares many of its parts with the Jegan, I'd assume customising it would be similar, with the caveat that they can't get in the way of the transformation. That said, the backpack and wing binders are free real estate, given that there's already variations like the Defenser units.
Came here because of the TR-6 on the thumbnail. That thing is my favorite looking MS because it doesn't look like it belongs in the Gundam universe at all and reminds me of other mecha series I like. The head reminds me of the Helldiver from Patlabor, the torso reminds me of Face Nemesis from Xeno and the legs remind me of ZOE Orbital Frames. Such a mishmash but I love it.
The High mobility type Zaku II was supposedly on par with the Gelgoog so I’d want to start there, but I’d for sure be ok with a Gelgoog, especially the Marine.
I gave my Hazel custom the backpack from the Hazel 2, Hazel is one of my personal favorites as well, the Lfrith Ur makes me think of the Hazel custom as well as virtue and seravee
I had the chance to use the Gelgoog Canon Type in Battle Operations 2, and managed to win enough Sorties with it to get back to C- Rank (until one loss using another mobile suit reduced it back to a D+ Rank), so I have a bit of a bias when it comes to the Gelgoog.
The Hazel is a customizer's wet dream. There's just so many combinations one can create with it and all its variants. You could probably even create customizations that even the original creators hadn't thought of.
I feel like Kakarot made this video because he wanted to talk about Hazels again...not that I'm complaining (also, I unironically want to hear that entire 2-hour ramble).
Now, for my personal Ace Mobile Suit (if I don't go for a Gundam), not worrying about base customization options... I would say a GM III Close-Combat Type, possibly with extra beam sabers and thrusters.
The UNSC in Halo used the same assault rifles, tanks and reconnosaince vehicles for more than 300 years, so i don't see any problem in using the good old Jegan for 30 years! XD
Problem is the new miniaturized mobile suits flew circles around them which is why the Heavygun was introduced as basically a miniaturized Jegan and that lasted until the Zanscar war 50 years later
My favorite Zeon suit from the OYW is the Gelgoog Jager but I honestly don't know how I would customize it. My favorite Federation suit is the Full Armor Gundam Type-B and I have thought up some customizations for it that take advantage of the extra generator on the Backpack, like swapping out the shoulder Rocket Launcher for the Heavy Gundam's Beam Cannon, and beam spray guns mounted on the side skirt and rigged to fire without needing to be in the hands to fill a similar roll to the Dom's scattering beam cannon (close range defense or mess with the enemy sensors).
Oh more on topic with this video, I have to say I'm a big fan of the Jegan. I fell in love with the Stark Jegan from Unicorn. So I'd probably go with a variation of that. But anodized black and with a beam carbine in each hand, one beam saber mounted on the forearm like the Ecoas type had and on the hips would be additional ecaps for the carbines, positioned forward so I could just drop the empty caps at the press of a button and reload them without having to use the other arm.
I would say Heavygun...except I doubt that received many variants or would even count in general. So instead, I would say Jegan. One of my variants would have a twin grenade launcher on the right arm, sea serpent equipped to left arm, hip mounted beam saber, handgun, ECOAS special visor, dummy firing port, modified Stark Jegan backpack to carry a long-range beam rifle, spray missile launchers on left shoulder, and Unicorn era styled shoulders.
Zaku II is the Civic of mobile suits. Visually unassuming, but can EASILY smoke the competition based on whatever's going on under the hood. And it's precisely that reasoning that makes me want to pilot one. If there's ANY mobile suit from the OYW that can't be underestimated, it's a Zaku. Personally, I'd want to add an additional shoulder shield, and ditch the bazooka for shield-mounted rocket launchers, leaving the hands free for dual wielding heat-hawks. Finally, increase the thruster output, for short bursts of speed. Combat tactics would consist of an initial rocket barrage, followed by a charge to finish off survivors while they're still shocked by the barrage.
Jeagan is just an upgraded version of my own Custom Gm Cold Dist. Type sooo probably rocking a high maneuverability type Jeagan myself lol. Thrusters, Close Range weapons with that spiffy arm mounted saber rack, hip rockets and the shield rockets as well!
Someone on reddit pointed out you should do a video on which faction across all the series is King of War crimes. Might be fun as a tier list or something.
Not on the list, but definitely what I would want is the RX-79 [G] Gundam Ground Type. One unit idea that I had is more of a Slave Wraith custom by replacing the head with a GM Sniper head in addition to the extra armor and a long range rifle. For myself, I would double on the shields and wield two hand guns or beam spray guns. Since I wouldn’t need the extra ammo containers on the side skirt, I’d replace them with either some grenades, additional beam sabers or maybe some extra guns. This is of course sticking to main UC. Otherwise I would replace the backpack with the HGBC Ez-Arms backpack, the shields would be from the Gundam Local Type, I’d have the wrist Vulcan guns from the Ez-Arms and a pair of pistols from the HGBC GM/GM weapons set. Shame that I can’t get my hands on any of these kits to build it and no game allows for this degree of customization.
I’d also definitely have to go with the Hazel specifically I’d go for 4 Shield boosters (w/ lasers), legs with the sub arms, then of course 4 beam rifles/machine guns, on top of this already absurd load out I’d see if I could possibly get missile pods mounted on the shoulders and legs for some extra firepower. Though with all this gear I’d probably have the thrusters improved as to be able to retain a higher speeds without issue then increased fuel stores to feed the monster thrusters.
As my custom AoZ Bunny still waits for it two extra shield to achieve completion, I would like to present two customized units. One is simply an ECOAS Jegan with a backpack mounted subarm holding Mega Machine Cannon from a Loto, Amazing Zaku's rocket Launchers on the left arm and side skirts swapped for thrusters of the Delta Plus. Simple and elegant. But that would've been a backup. The main machine for me is Delta Kai+, the Plus with Kai bits here and there, a heat sword tail binder and three Long Beam Rifle borrowed of the AoZ machines.

Now, for a machine not on this list... the G-Line is certainly a customizable ace unit. Three different armor types allow for a variety of options.
Hell yeah my boi the Gm sniper Custom got on the list. Pls Bandai reprint the damn MG
Edit:
For my personal MS, I’d use the jegan as well, but kitted out for CQC.
@@TY-PO Heh - I'm not so much 'spray and pray' as I am 'slice and dice' in my fighting style
@@Takeshi_Yamato_103 That’s cool! Everyone has their own preferences. Personally I like to shower the enemy with bullets to close the distance before striking them with a beam saber:)
NGL, I would gladly watch 2+ hours worth of videos on the AoZ customizations.
I would have go with
Gelgoog- because it's high mobility is incredible for using both beam blades and a beam gun.
Me: finally, a video that goes in depth on the Woundwort!
Kakarot: "Haha, no."
With how long zeon lasted, and the titans being fresher with also being less over zealous at least as a remnant. I wounder if we had a custom hazel taking on James Guns, and Javelins.
I'd say that would be very possible in the waring states period in Gundam Crossbone Dust
Lemme guess the AU version
AEU Enact (Agrissa Type)
Over Flag
Zaku Warrior/Zaku Phantom
Leo-S
Graze
Can't have 2 suits from the same series.
Considering we have Gundams, I say the Strike/Impulse Swapable backpacks on the go.
Clanche everyone?
I’d put the Maganac on this list, considering the many variants it has among the forty produced.
@@anzaca1 00 beats every other series in this regard
Besides, Kakarot had 2 zeon suits on this list, the Zaku snd the Gelgoog
I rock a custom stark Jegan in the Breakers games. Though it's final form includes parts from both G Gundam and Wing. Using Gundam Rose's arms and the wings off wing Zero, The family of units that lead to it are called "Jegan Ark Royal" it's final form is "Jegan Ark Royal: Final Regalia"
Hazel is pretty much "Gundam: The DLC"
"More Pew is More Better." afterall.
Aka the Cult of the Machine or the More Dakka@@andrewowens4421
Seeing Kakarot talk about the Hazel sounds like a restless child in a candy shop.
And now I just really want a TR-6 video! With your extensive knowledge on AoZ, it would be an awesome way to help explain just how versatile this machine really is.
GM Sniper makes me think we need a best sniper suits list.
Love every video you upload
Honorable mention: The Efreet.
You can really make it your own signature unit....if there were any.
I wanted too make a wise ass remark about WhErE Is (insert suit here) but there really isn't anything else I can think of. Maybe the gm3 or Nemo? good job
Jegans are officially my favorite on this list
My loadout:
-Stark Jegan's Shoulder Launchers
-A hybrid of the dual missile launcher from the A/R-Type and the dual beam saber rack from the Jegan B/M-Type from F91
-The Jegan EOCAS Type's visor and armor, plus the modifications Conroy Haagensen had on his machine
-The standard grenade and beam saber racks of the D-Type
-The standard shield
-The standard Vulcan pod
-The Jesta's beam rifle(it looks cooler)
I would also probably go for the Hazel Gundam but I'm also a really big fan of the Jagan. I could probably just steal it and take it to the AEUG That'd be one hell of a fan theory.
Man I really freakin wish we had a gundam game with full customization and a cool serious story. Something that isn’t a dynasty Warrior clone either
I’ll probably get myself a GM Quel, make it based off of RAY STUDIO’s GM Sniper Pro with all the pistons and such, add a 30 minute missions looking fight unit, give it a low-vis American fighter jet livery. And make sure it’s well armed and can go fast.
what about the always bulky zaku 3, i would give that sucker a beam machine gun, a booster skirt and change out the waist guns for sub arms
I have always been a fan of the Gelgoog. Especially considering the fact that theres the Jäger and the Regelgu as well
I would personally take a Dom-tropen(Stardust Memory).
I didn’t know kakarot was a halo fan
I'm a pretty big fan.
@@kakarot197 me too if ya ever want to do
Some matches on mcc or when infinite comes out give me message
I love extremely customizable mobile suits.
Zaku 1 Blu [Exam Unit] for me. Funnily enough this very unit is my original characters personal favorite
I laughed harder than I probably should have at the 2 Hours Later bit. I did like that you faded your audio for extra affect lol. Fun vid!
I saw that car last 2019 going to Sapporo and its Park causally in a residential area!!! And I envy the Guy who owns it!
The High mobility type Zaku II was supposedly on par with the Gelgoog so I’d want to start there, but I’d for sure be ok with a Gelgoog, especially the Marine.
10:55 I wonder if all the hazel add-one’s combined into one system.
2:49 I still can't believe Kakarot didn't even mention the high mobility type Zaku options
Psycho Zaku much??
I gave my Hazel custom the backpack from the Hazel 2, Hazel is one of my personal favorites as well, the Lfrith Ur makes me think of the Hazel custom as well as virtue and seravee
The Hazels chunky legs sold me when I saw them. Bought the HG TR-1 Hazel Custom. Love it
I love the Woundwort so much, I have the Kehaar II kit and it is BEAUTIFUL.
Kakarot be talking like a car salesman when someone brings up the GM Quell/Hazel.
Say less, you had me at customizable xD
This bag boy can fit so many P-Bandai variations!
The Hazel is a customizer's wet dream. There's just so many combinations one can create with it and all its variants. You could probably even create customizations that even the original creators hadn't thought of.
I already liked reading the title, absolutely enjoyed the video and I hope you'll make more of these if possible.
The hazels have a wide variety of custom options and I love it
The UNSC in Halo used the same assault rifles, tanks and reconnosaince vehicles for more than 300 years, so i don't see any problem in using the good old Jegan for 30 years!
Yeaaaahhh, freaking Jegan! My favorite mass produced MS.
Im extremely glad that Jegans made it to the list
I would say Heavygun...except I doubt that received many variants or would even count in general. So instead, I would say Jegan.
One of my variants would have a twin grenade launcher on the right arm, sea serpent equipped to left arm, hip mounted beam saber, handgun, ECOAS special visor, dummy firing port, modified Stark Jegan backpack to carry a long-range beam rifle, spray missile launchers on left shoulder, and Unicorn era styled shoulders.
I can already see the Astrays taking top spot on the AU list
The Astrays are on Hazel's level of customization. There are literally so many versions and alternatives of the Astray.
GN-XIV Commander Type. Since you literary can get any type of loadout and one of the most advanced Grunt suits out there.
Just paint any mobile suit red and you'll be an ace.
Someone on reddit pointed out you should do a video on which faction across all the series is King of War crimes. Might be fun as a tier list or something.
I see you have that screenshot of the custom Spartan from reach, VERY NICE
I just want mass-product Guncannon painted in blue.
I'd mod anything AOZ. Very unique look that combines fantasy with current space designs that are somewhere close to "near-future." ❤
I love Jegan's as well.
I attribute the HJegan's performance on lack of training for F91.
Calling it right now, the AU version will be-
#1- all of the Gundams from Iron Blooded Orphans. All 72 of them are built around the same basic frame.
