There are two units that I would like to mention. 1- Freedom (and his successor, Strike Freedom) are both described in the show as being incredebly fast. Kira was able to travel from the Plant to Alaska in record time when he first piltoed the Freedom. 2- The gundam F-91 can fly so fast that his paint comes off and leaves behind after images.
The Afterimages on the F91 is the result of the biocomputer reaching a critical temperature, which is why the 91 has vents all over. the MEtal Peel-off Effect (MEPE) is just a side effect of that overheating. It also explains why the F91 and Crossbone Gundam has the ability to open its face mask to vent out excess heat as well while at the same time giving it an intimidation factor in battle.
Now imagine that same guntank hauling its whole mass before suddenly drifting around a Zaku II with "gas gas gas" bgm blasting within its cockpit (Io Flemming style) & fire a single debilitating round at said Zaku II.
Regarding the Deathscythe “speed” stat, it might be that they mean agility, which makes sense since Duo is considered the most skilled fighter (but his morals hold him back). In the show, practically (by “Death Battle” style standards), the Epyon is probably the fastest in Wing considering all the epic scale maneuvers it does in space, slicing battleships and what not in seconds. Tallgeese is a weirdo suit since it lacks the programming and fine tuning of the others. It’s like driving a hypercar without any digital assist, just direct access to all the thrust it’s capable of via its gigantic thrusters, practically uncontrollable without extreme skill. Try driving down a mountain as fast as possible and you know what Zechs was feeling and struggling with.
I think so as well cause while trowa was able to do agile moves with his heavy arms that's more so thanks to the pilot where as the death scythe came off as more of an agile mobile suit.
also a factor is that the gundams in wing are ridiculously light, i mean heavyarms alone is only about 8 - 10 tons while rx-78 gundam is about 40+ tons.

So here's one that at least deserves an Honorable Mention. The Infinite Justice in the Gundam Seed Destiny final movie, went from attacking the Requiem's core on the dark side of the moon, to destroying the Minerva's drive unit, to catching up to the Strike Freedom sieging the Messiah base on the complete opposite side of the battlefield. So glad to see the Tallgeese here, one of my all time favourite mobile suits. Just for reference there was a paper written in 2003 (one of many) which looked into the effects of G-forces on the human body, this paper showed the range G-forces which would hospitalise or kill a median human is 50-75G. As such, for the Tallgeese to kill Otto & hospitalise Zechs, it must have been consistently pulling something in the range of 65-100G.
Kind of yes, and no. Even a fighter pilot in top fitness can only handle 9Gs for mere seconds before passing out. Continued exposure would lead to burst blood vessels, and even death before too long. But it is also true that humans have experienced very brief exposure to much higher G forces and lived, such as in car crashes.
@@khandimahn9687 in the 50s the tests of supersonic jets and rocket engines put airforce pilots on upwards of 40Gs one test on a rocket sled exposed one pilot to 83Gs, you know the times when those flying coffins with paper thing steel fuselage and engines had 50/50 chances of blowing up on their first flight.

Glad you were accurate in saying the Phenex achieved NEAR-light speed. If it was going that fast, no way could sensors or even the naked eye could see it. Gundam Deathscythe Hell. God of Quick Deaths. They need to be a little more specific with the Record Breakers travel speed. They say it goes from Earth to Jupiter in 150 hours. Is that when Earth and Jupiter are at their closest to one another? Also, how exactly did they solve the Gs issues so the pilot survives the trip?
ORX-005 Gaplant TR-5 "Fiver". I just like that it does not use a lot of futuristic sci-fi explanation for its speed, just that it is launched from ground to the stratosphere, and then following a parabolic trajectory, it use its huge thrusters and just gravity to make a mad supersonic charge to the target location, push through any intercepting attacks with I-field and diffusion beam cannons, then launch any other MS that hitchhike with it. Also, at the end it is still a fully functioning Gaplant to carry out mission once it reach its destination.
Its worth mentioning that celestial being ms including the harute somehow negate g forces for the pilots, so they theoretically can accelerate faster than anything without killing the pilot
if you watch the Gundam NT, what makes Phenex's speed ridiculous is that it doesn't use its thrusters. rather it uses its newtype powers to envelop the entire body with aura.
I would have expected the wing zero from endless waltz to be very fast I seem to remembering it comming back from a ship that was headed fo the sun for a couple of days in about a day. Same for the freedom gundam that came back from the colonies back to earth in what seemed like less than a day, can’t imagine how fast you would have to go to do that.
9:33 Those specs has to be wrong. One of the major plot points in the Wing Gundam series was that the Death Scythe and the other gundams weren’t fast enough to deliver Wing gundam zero’s rifle to Heero. All except Wufei’s Altron.
the problem with a lot of "high mobility" mobile suits is their mass. the heavy thrusters and fuel tanks may weigh nothing in 0g, but it still has mass. this means that once it accelerates (slowly), it would just keep going. this would not be mobility, but a way to be a ballistic missile
Sooo. coming from another franchise here: Am I the only one who finds it hillarious that the zaku type s thing would be peak ork engineering. Like down to the actual colour. Char is a Greenskin in disguise, pass it on.
Just rewatched Stargazer today and immidiatly thought about it when I saw the video. Also, what about that F90 with a space shuttle rocket strapped to it?
Though to be fair, the Scientists who designed the Tallgeese probably made sure to design the speedy Gundams' cockpits so that they protect the pilots from the lethal Gs.
In CE, there are Turn Delta and Astray Red Frame Kai that have combine version of Voiture Lumiere that used in Stargazer and the combat version that used in Delta Astray, or Strike freedom and Destiny Gundam. It's make them theoritically possible to be the fastest ms in CE universe.
What about the G-Saviour Space Mode? It has 1008000 kg of thruster force. It's regarded as the fastest mobile suit in all of the UC timeline, according to the specs (only to be surpassed by its predecessor 'G3 Saviour').
Bonus unit: A boosters-equipped Garazzo is noted to be approaching the CBS-74 Ptolemaios 2 at a rate of 78 km/s (280,800 km/hr, around 229 times the speed of sound) in one instance.[8][4] From wikia
I'm pretty surprised that the Gabthley wasn't mentioned, considering it could accelerate up to Mach 25 (according to the wiki), which converts to 30870 km/h or 19181.73 mp/h

@@NormanReaddis Honestly a Gundam racing game where you can attack opponents to stun them akin to Mario Kart while still piloting the actual MS would be cool. So it's definitely not the fastest thing out there but I'm a little surprised that ms-18e Kampfer isn't somewhere on the list at least maybe except for the zudah thought was one of the fastest mobile suits during the one year war since it was quite literally built for hit and run and even had a nickname which is just a reference to Sonic the Hedgehog

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the Guntank is using chemical rockets. Lots of acceleration, so it can fly into the White Base without forcing it to land, but low delta V.
Honestly, the sheer fact that most of the MS on this list are various Gundams doesn't surprise me. I mean, they usuaslly tend to be really fast and powerful, so it makes sense
I know that it aint the fastest mobile suit ever (and its really biased cuz its my favorite Gundam series made), but Gundam Barbatos Lupus and Lupus Rex are definitely fast when it comes to land performance. As its seen in the Battle against Hashmal and the Last Stand for Tekkaden, BL and BLR were supremely fast for what they did in their universe- especially considering they were on land and moving so fast that pilots just couldn’t see or react in time.

They need to be a little more specific with the Record Breakers travel speed. They say it goes from Earth to Jupiter in 150 hours. Is that when Earth and Jupiter are at their closest to one another? Also, how exactly did they solve the Gs issues so the pilot survives the trip?
Who knows, the record breakers were barely mentioned much in the F-91/Crossbone timeline, at least if I recall that.
Sensors could still pick it up though. How do u think we have a good idea the measurement of what speed light speed is? Those sensors.
@@gerogyzurkov2259 Those sensors were for narrative purposes. Normally they wouldn't be able to pick up something that fast.
Maybe I'm misremembering the manga, but isn't blue destiny supposed to be very fast? Or does it just physically move quickly due to the exam system?
Probably meant fast in the sense of reaction speed? Agility and speed often go hand in hand, but they aren't necessarily the same, after all.
Blue Destiny is fast and agile for its time, thanks to being equipped with magnet coating and EXAM taking it a step further.
Painting things red make things 3x faster.
Orks: Write Dat Down! Write Dat Down!
My favorite source: “old 1/144 scale manuals”
The fact that trans-am triples the suit's speed and makes it red simply cannot possibly be a coincidence
Freedom Strike/Freedom and Bael. My personal favourite speedy gundam.
How could you not mention the Gedlav? That thing was a literal tire! The Motorad Squadron traveled in style.
Its worth mentioning that celestial being ms including the harute somehow negate g forces for the pilots, so they theoretically can accelerate faster than anything without killing the pilot
8:52 Hi, my name is Duo Maxwell, the fastest gundam pilot alive.
0:16 Not only on the Gundam community but also in the Warhammer one. Lol
if you watch the Gundam NT, what makes Phenex's speed ridiculous is that it doesn't use its thrusters. rather it uses its newtype powers to envelop the entire body with aura.
It's just like a child grabbing an action figure and moves it
I would have expected the wing zero from endless waltz to be very fast I seem to remembering it comming back from a ship that was headed fo the sun for a couple of days in about a day. Same for the freedom gundam that came back from the colonies back to earth in what seemed like less than a day, can’t imagine how fast you would have to go to do that.
Cool video man, always like this top 10 ones
can you make a video comparison of all types of beamsabers across the franchises?
I thought Strike Freedom Gundam would be there, because we have seen how fast it travelled from out of space to earth
You might be thinking of the original freedom since it traveled from a zaft base to earth within a short time period.
9:33 Those specs has to be wrong. One of the major plot points in the Wing Gundam series was that the Death Scythe and the other gundams weren’t fast enough to deliver Wing gundam zero’s rifle to Heero. All except Wufei’s Altron.
"Paint it red and it goes faster," sounds like warhammer 40k Ork logic more than gundam.
the problem with a lot of "high mobility" mobile suits is their mass. the heavy thrusters and fuel tanks may weigh nothing in 0g, but it still has mass. this means that once it accelerates (slowly), it would just keep going. this would not be mobility, but a way to be a ballistic missile
RESPECT for throwing in the bloody Tallgeese in that list
Sooo. coming from another franchise here: Am I the only one who finds it hillarious that the zaku type s thing would be peak ork engineering.
In my Opinion, The Lightning gundam full burnern is my favorite speedy boi
In CE, there are Turn Delta and Astray Red Frame Kai that have combine version of Voiture Lumiere that used in Stargazer and the combat version that used in Delta Astray, or Strike freedom and Destiny Gundam. It's make them theoritically possible to be the fastest ms in CE universe.
My favorites: Wing Zero and Strike Freedom.
What about the G-Saviour Space Mode? It has 1008000 kg of thruster force. It's regarded as the fastest mobile suit in all of the UC timeline, according to the specs (only to be surpassed by its predecessor 'G3 Saviour').
Bonus unit:
A boosters-equipped Garazzo is noted to be approaching the CBS-74 Ptolemaios 2 at a rate of 78 km/s (280,800 km/hr, around 229 times the speed of sound) in one instance.[8][4]
From wikia
In my school vr game Goalius confirmed speed is only known as barryble (named by the flash from dc as Goalius raced against him and they tied)
Is this "school VR game" something you're developing?
@yumbream yeah sense it's in the prototype phase
I'm pretty surprised that the Gabthley wasn't mentioned, considering it could accelerate up to Mach 25 (according to the wiki), which converts to 30870 km/h or 19181.73 mp/h
So we just gunna ignore Domon going from South America to Hong Kong in a matter of 2 minutes
Yup, LOL, the Earth-Barrier Sling shot trick, while impressive as an idea, is not part of the God Gundam's frame build, and thus....DisQualerFied.....mmmmmmk!
Thanks for helping me understand how to narrow down my roster for my eventual Gundam racing story.
Gundam kart racing
@@NormanReaddis Honestly a Gundam racing game where you can attack opponents to stun them akin to Mario Kart while still piloting the actual MS would be cool. Boss races would be against MAs, the tracks would have shortcuts for different types of MS like water for amphibious ones and gaps that more aerial capable ones can jump over.
It most likely be a Breaker series but with Tamiya Let & Go treatment. So another avenue for them to sell model kits.
Jegan development history when, also great video
Every time the Zaku II Commander Type of Char is on screen, the song "The Red Baron" by Swedish metal band Sabaton plays in my mind
So it's definitely not the fastest thing out there but I'm a little surprised that ms-18e Kampfer isn't somewhere on the list at least maybe except for the zudah thought was one of the fastest mobile suits during the one year war since it was quite literally built for hit and run and even had a nickname which is just a reference to Sonic the Hedgehog
it might just be my limited knowledge but i would have expected the psycho zaku on this. That suit looks insane on screen
My favourite would be Brave Commander test type from Gundam OO Awakening of the Trailblazer
Gundam fans: paint it red, it makes it faster
Me, a Warhammer fan: 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
I know it's hard to actively claim these since they're toys, there's also the Lighting Gundam Full Burnien, whose speed is greater than that of one using Trans-Am
tallgeese, the f9 series (include crossbone), and victory series are the only consistent fastest gundam series considering they have the ability to overcome earth escape velocity without any external booster parts..
0:15 I can already hear da Orks boys coming at lightning speed on their red bikes.
Ok, I had to make that joke because if you know anything about the Orks in 40K… You know they took that joke and made it a reality… Because if Orks thinks red makes you go faster, it will and if Ork decides that he can breath in space as well as feeling a breeze… he will.
And don't forget about wing series MSes were so damn light.
The only reason it looks slow was the animation style at that time.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure the Guntank is using chemical rockets. Lots of acceleration, so it can fly into the White Base without forcing it to land, but low delta V.
Glad the stargazer is here.
Cant wait to see who's the toughest mobile suit(mobile suits that can withstand attacks/firepower etc)
Remember: a mobile suit goes faster 3x if it is colored red.
great vid! i love the Zudah!
Zudah: "I'm fast as f*** boiii!"
*Next minute*
4:53 Zudah: *"SATURN ENGINE NOOOOOOOOO"*
IIRC Tallgeese they outright say DOES go faster, however the last known recorded speed made it hit the pilot with 15G forces.
Honestly, the sheer fact that most of the MS on this list are various Gundams doesn't surprise me. I mean, they usuaslly tend to be really fast and powerful, so it makes sense
Rita Bernal isn't held down by Earth's gravity in more ways than one. That's why she can bring the Unicorn series' speed to its limit.
I got the chance to make that joke over the weekend. I was playing War Thunder and encountered Char Aznable in PT boats.
The age 2 Dark hound was one of the fastest suits in Gundam age.
Watched this while customizing, very good video
