- This is what you should do if your tooth falls out.
First, keep calm and find the tooth.
Hold the tooth by the crown, NOT by root. Root surface cells are very important for saving the tooth, and you can damage them.
If dirty, gently rinse with water. Do not use soap or chemicals.
Then, put it back into the socket. Hold it in position with your finger.
If you cannot reposition the tooth, make sure you keep it moist by putting it in milk or in your mouth by the cheek. Now, it is important you do not put the tooth in regular water, the cells cannot tolerate that for extended periods of time.
Now, it's best to see your dentist with 30 minutes.

I see a dentist on the 11th, so from this day posted of having a tooth fall out besides the root it's been 9 days of complete hell. The tooth is connected to my sinuses so now I have a tooth and sinus infection and the hospital nor my doctor can do anything. Waiting in extreme pain feeling like my entire right side wants to explode. Temple is throbbing, sinuses are throbbing, gums are throbbing, tooth is throbbing, roof of my mouth is throbbing. Thank you Canadian health care, BTW I do have insurance.

My grandpas upper both incisors fell off after a bike accident... he picked them and pushed them back... that was in 1995... he had his teeth until his death in 2015..

*Well, in the country that i live in, you can literally get an appointment with the dentist within minutes during the day.. If it's early in the morning the better cuz at that time there'd be fewer people, but during the day after 8/9 am, then only you'd have to wait for your turn, which would normally be like within 30 mins or so..*

Dentists should accommodate emergency appointments at all times. In my dentist if you call with an emergency they'll see you immediately, although you have to pay for some reason. I had a tooth crack on a cusp, and they saw me within the hour and fixed it. It did however cost me €40 to get seen and have it fixed.

I can't tell if this is a joke or if you're actually supposed to put your tooth back in it's hole if it falls out
It’s not a joke. You do that to allow tooth to reattach to the jawbone. Your dentist will then just splint it to stabilize it. The tooth will eventually need a root canal though.

Do not do any of those or you have to do is get a paper towel wipe your moth if it’s the tooth is dirty clean it with an adult if it’s bleeding a lot put more paper towel on it. Keep doing it until the paper towels full blood or you can’t use it anymore. Put it in a plastic bag once it’s clean from an adult, put it under your pillow and leave it there.

A dentist can't replace an entire tooth. Even with the root intact they can't save the whole tooth so why would you save the tooth at all. Please show what the tooth looks like after and what they do because that's not done here in the United States
