  • In this tutorial, learn how to add an elegant touch to your clothes and dresses with beautiful border patterns. Follow the steps to create neat and decorative embroidery by removing rows of threads from linen fabric, adjusting the lines and gaps for a perfect pattern. Using light orange floss threads and the buttonhole stitch, you'll achieve a refined and handmade look. Experiment with dark fabrics and light threads for a striking design. Perfect for any garment!

Whoa, cutting through that fabric was scarier than the most terrifying horror movie! I had an idea to fix all those 'torn jeans' that are inexplicably so popular these days. Just do with the shreds what you are doing here - LOL! Gorgeous, as usual.

When I was in high school two sisters demonstrated something similar only instead of embroidery thread they saved and used the pulled thread from the fabric. Their grandma showed them. She created beautiful table linens, which they brought samples she'd made.

I am always amazed at your skill. So the difference between this stitch (buttonhole) and chain stitch is that you’re entering the fabric at a slight angle? I am going to try this!
    Thank you for sharing!
