Thank you for showing how to put the blade in the handle. You are the only person I have seen demonstrate that and I'm embarrassed because I had a hard time with it before!
Thanks for sharing your skills. I plan to use these for polymer clay, both to imprint textures, and to print patterns on the raw clay. Can't wait to try it!
I'm so glad you showed some of the carving in real-time! I've been seeing all these sped up videos so I was carving fast but now I know it's normal to go slowwwww.. Any suggestions for carving detailed/tight areas- should I not apply too much pressure?
@@Karagami thanks, I was wondering about a craft knife -wasn't sure about how to "scoop" out the inner pockets. Hopefully your technique will also work on the Speedball rubber!
Wonderful 😁😁😁😁 work.... Actually I also started this but I got bored and stopped it but after watching you... I again got the inspiration....... Thank you very much
Hey, what a lovely video. Just stumbled upon your channel. I wanted to ask- is there a way to recycle/reuse the tiny pieces of waste rubber? Can I melt them and remould them into a new rubber block?
I am a stamp carver & a plastics recycling artist. Unfortunately, I have yet to find recyclable stamp carving material. I even contacted Speedball asking the question & they said no too. 😞
I've always just unscrewed the tool a bit and slid the nib in to put it together. It's much more convenient than unscrewing the whole thing... It just seems like this whole video is just taking the long way around everything. Some of the things are completely unnecessary. You do not need to use the same piece of tracing paper to draw each piece on. You do not need to trace the shape of the rubber bit. It just causes more of a headache.
I struggle a little with the popping noises because I’ve had a stroke sorry I hate writing horrible things. Your voice is so soothing very nice voice. I struggle listening to voices and usually have to go to subtitles but not with you because you have a lovely soft voice. Fantastic video x
Thank you. Excellent tutorial. Happy stamping...
you just keep the parts in. you can just slightly unscrew the top and just slide the cutters in and out. re-tighten. :)
I was thinking the same thing and cringing so hard when she took it all apart.

April Ezell I'm glad it helped! I sure did need some help when I was starting out too ☺️
Thanks for sharing. I bought some supplies to stamp designs for etching metal jewelry, but was intimidated to use them. Now I'm more motivated.
amanda thompson oh yay! i'm so happy to hear that ☺️ I'll make more carving videos 💕
Thank you for teaching me how to cut stamps! I'm so excited to carve my first one
Thank you! Yours was the first result that wasn't a bunch of techbros with laser cutters.

dreamkiss4u all items are in the description box :)
Karagami oh I didn't know it was a eraser that's why hehe I thought it was something else special or something.
dreamkiss4u The eraser is to use if any mistakes with the pencil. "Speedycarve" is the pink stuff! You can also carve erasers!
How did you cut it down to size? Scissors? Exacto knife

Nice video, don’t cut towards yourself it’s really dangerous
Thnx
What kind of transfer paper is normally used? Like the kind used on shirts?
No definitely not. Its stuff that's got charcoal on the back so drawing on the front leaves marks on whatever is behind
PS lovely images. what kind of flower did you say that was called? they stamped so cleanly. :) TFS
it's hibiscus/gumamela 🌺 😊

that’s not how you change the tip. I did it the way you showed, and now it’s stuck 😞
