- Part of the activities during the LIFE.ART 2013 Exhibition Tour. Tsukui Sensei, truly the 'meister' of stamp carving working wonders on a piece of eraser (消しゴム) and demonstrating the art of stamp carving. Amazing.
この極太のカッターで繊細な彫りも全部やっちゃうのが津久井先生の真骨頂というか、職人技だよなあ…… 真似して同じオルファの極太カッター買ってみたけど早々に断念して普通の細さのカッターで彫ってる
My mind was blown multiple times during this video.
I would have loved to see a final product.
+maireadre i would have loved to see the print.
that was beautiful and amazing! She carved it so fast and precise!
Simply STUNNING!!
Thank you for sharing your beautiful work!
The details on this stamp was very exciting to get an understanding on what i may want to do myself, so thank you!! Peace!!
Amazing! Thank you for sharing your process!
So relaxing to watch...
Excellent work!
Beautiful, well done to the crafter.
Lovely stamp. Great carving. unbelievable detail. I would like to have seen the stamped image. Thank you.
You do beautiful work there
Beautiful!! Thank you :)
After seeing this video, I googled the artist. Absolutely EVERY link took me to a page that flashed infected virus spamming and it wouldn't stop. Just letting ya know.
That's rather strange. I never really had this problem as she is well-known artist in her field. Perhaps a native Japanese language website would help? tsukuitomoko.com/
Wonderful dexterity. And great camerawork too!
That complement about the camerawork is sarcasm, right? 'Cause it move around so much at times that it gave me a headache.
That's cool.
Brilliant
参考になります。有り難うございます。
I can hear Cantonese... That must be Harbour City in HK!
Great work. Swift and precise.
amazing!
Wow. I’m definitely going to try this.
EXCELENTE! Thank you for sharing it :)
Omg. That retractable Lino cutter they're using! What is that called? Where can I get that exact one? It's like a v cut razor blade! I've never seen one like that before.
perfection!!!!!
You are great 👍🏻
Did she stain or put a wash on the rubber? It looks like it helps increase contrast to see the carved lines better.
Anyone else surprise at the dexterity of the cameraman?
فنانه ❤
wow
I liked how he changes his tool mid-session. The V-knife is much easier to control but it's limiting in small turns and corner.
😯
Fantastic!!
Please, what brand of eraser do you use in this stamp?
What is the name of the carving material?
How much did that stamp sell for?
Gereat but I wish the camera person would sit still.
Hello Susan, considering this was taken amidst a cramped audience at a very public place, I did my best to stay still. 🙏🏻
I like to buy some of it and where to at
Can you tell me what tools and materials were used in this video? Thanks so much!!!!
It's basically just a retractable paper cutter, misc. carving tools and eraser slabs. Tsukui-san is a well-known eraser stamp artist from Japan. Her skills are absolutely amazing.
And...........where’s the print?
What kind of carving block are you using young lady
Hi Charles, I just purchase whatever is available but they are usually Japanese made keshigomu. The brand that Ms. Tsukui has used (sometimes sold with her starter kits) are called Hankeshi-Kun.
What kind of tool was that first one?
A scalpel.
Sound so easy... But it, s Not
This guy is cutting into the lines n shit...
