As you will come to find, being a parent is such a beautiful journey. I got pregnant with my boy when I was 19 years old and had him at 20. I can't say I was ready to become a mom at that age, it turned my world upside down, but I've grown so much because of him. He's 6 years old and I'm nearly 27 now and those newborn days went by so fast I can barely remember what it was like. If I have any advice to give just do your best to soak up all the moments when she's teeny tiny. Even the hard moments, when you're both exhausted- cherish them all. I know it's a redundant saying 'kids grow up in the blink of an eye' but man is it ever so true. Enjoy the journey of parenthood. Let it humble you. Best wishes to you 3 + Lou :)

one suggestion: hanging the baby cam in the corner of the room to the right of the crib so that there’s no chance of it falling onto baby girl in the crib

Pro tip: What if y'all hang the curtain rod right up against where the wall and ceiling meet? That way the length of the curtain would be above the baseboard heater. It would also create the illusion that the ceiling is taller than it actually is & make the room feel bigger.

Some book suggestions! Each Peach Pear Plum, We're Going on a Bear Hunt, ABC type book with objects--kids LOVE these and you can ask them "where's the apple" etc. Oh gosh....I have so many suggestions :)

You guys do such an amazing job w decorating every time. Our cats liked the crib too. I put foil in there before the baby came to keep them out as I didn’t want it to cause a problem later (cats can suffocate babies, esp newborns who can’t move, or can will scratch when they think it’s ‘their’ spot). The foil worked well for us.

Love baby girl room you guys are gonna be awesome parents , one thing though I wouldn’t get the cat used to jumping in baby crib though that can be dangerous when baby in there or if the cat jumps in baby cradle and all the cat hair on the new baby stuff . I made sure my cats always stayed out of baby room and baby stuff .

If you hang the curtain road closer to the ceiling it will make your ceiling look a lot taller and the window a lot bigger!

A CONCERN! Sorry I just saw your video, I lost track since you don't post as often. Just want to WARN you that you should raise the nursery curtain up OFF OF AND IN FRONT of the HEATER!! It could catch fire also your rocking hair if too close.
