As a Reds fan, I believe they went pitcher instead of hitter, because it’s way easier to pay a good free agent hitter to come play at Great American, than starting pitchers.
@@smowchan fellow redleg here as well ... gotta remember to rhett lowder is also from wake forest so this pitcher is a perfect fit and we have way to many great hitters and not enough positions this was the perfect pick for the reds

To my knowledge dry needles is basically putting a hole in your muscles or tissue ( not sure) and having your body send cells to come and fix it, which in the big part will fix whatever you really want it to fix. Yes it can hit your heart and lungs if you careful that’s why when I first heard of it it wasn’t too easy to get a certification just like cupping was

Wake Forest’s dimensions are 310 left, 400 center, and 300 right. Most of his hrs came at Wake, and his numbers were better on road. His fastball got hit hard against lefties, but he can develop a cutter to go against that, which he already has and is 116+ stuff. Reds are full of injuries and recession, and drafting Condon, who hasn’t really produced much with a wood bat and has problems against off speed pitches, wouldn’t fix that in this season. They had McLain, Friedl, CES, and multiple players like Benson, Fraley, and Marte who have all regressed, but can be fixed with time. Condon doesn’t fix this problem instantly. Not to mention the fact that the Reds are at a way bigger advantage bringing in batters through FA then they are with bringing pitchers in. Pitchers don’t want to come to GABP, so drafting them is the best choice. Burns was 100% a great pick and an A-.

@@danschweiger3700 from what I've seen they are very similar but I think the main differences are it looks like Travis Bazzana has more pop but JJ is better defensively up the middle. Both these guys absolutely rake though
