Dr.Dan so nice to see you doing so well ! My son , 42 years old , just finished his second round of chemo with 7 more rounds to go . He was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer back in October . He had a bowel resection and a liver ablation . Lucky the liver ablation turned out to be only a ball of blood vessels not a cancerous tumour . Since that great news the oncologist changed him to a stage 3 . He did have cancer in 4 of his 26 lymph nodes . He is doing very well and in very high spirits such as yourself . He wall climbs , is an avid cyclist , and hikes at least 12 km a day . He amazes me to say the least . I wish the best of health , happiness, and peace in 2024 . Dan, I finished my treatment for stage 3 throat cancer two years ago and since then have been dealing with the aftereffects of the treatment. I have to tell you how much you motivate me to do better, work harder, and stay mentally and physically strong. I wish you a great year ahead and many, many years after that to do the wonderful work that makes you so special. You are my hero and ,you're a good guy Chalie Brown.

I like Dr. Dan's natuaral ability to speak on camera. He prbly never did videos before his disease was diagnosed.
My girlfriend likes to say f#*k cancer, but I'm not so keen on the word. It sort of means "leave me alone" when in fact it doesn't.
Cancer often persists though people live longer with it due to more targeted therapies.
We hear about the same treatments over and over, so Dr Dan is helping to find advanced alternative therapies.
My girlfriend gets treatment in Mexico cus she didn't want a port getting immunotherapy. I'm Mexico its cheaper or they can be more aggressive.
She tried chemo and said it was killing her.
The irony is that she has a form of cancer that the majority of people are cured by using traditional chemo/radiation.
She won't give me much info The 5 year survival rate is prbly 70%.
My brothers and dad beat cancer and they had 2 types that normally come back.
I wish I knew more about oncology. My area is heart disease and it's not quite as vast in the types that occur.
You look extra wonderful in this video Dan. Great seeing you out walking. You're an inspiration to me. Words cannot express how much you do for people watching you and my goodness what a following cheering you on.

I believe in the power and benefit of pray. Some doctors pray for their patients too. So glad treatment is working. I have side effects from treatment that means I might need another stem cell transplant, this time a donor.

Dr. Dan, I pray for you and thank you for your inspiration. I am facing stage 4 pancreatic cancer. I am currently symptom free ( this has nets to my lungs, but I did have three years NED since surgery). I am hoping to get into a clinical trial for immunotherapy or MRNA vaccine. Hi Dan, you inspired me to walk yesterday (1 Jan). I took the advice from your previous video and did what I could do instead of trying to do what I used to do. 300m in 4'30". Longest walk in many months! (I've been mostly bed-bound for over a year with Long Covid.) I don't have energy to go today, but thank you for your encouragement to try to do what I can. I found your videos completely by accident and am so impressed by your positivity and mental strength. Great to see you out walking today.

I’m rooting for you, Rhonda! Remember: start *ridiculously easy* the first few times. Maybe just a couple minutes, super slow. Then you can gradually increase distance or pace over time, as you handle it. So proud of you!!

@DrDanSays ... wanted to share this- with a rare brain disorder & ataxia, I made a goal to improve my balance and run my first 5k. Goal accomplished in Nov 2023! I still have neuro issues, but I proved to myself that goals are not only important but also possible. My mom (z'l) was a survivor of breast cancer. Thank you again for another goal for me to achieve. Shalom.
