Great video and 5k time, but the fact that you helped out your competitor when he veered off course is what truly stood out to me. Terrific sportsmanship
The content on this channel is A++ good stuff, but what really struck me when I first started watching Göran's videos was how appreciative he is of the people around him and how positive his attitude is. In the 100K Ultramarathon video, he mentions how kind his partner is to him multiple times and it's so sweet I got a bit misty eyed because I can relate to that feeling 100% when I think about my wife. Göran is so relatable as a fellow human. I just love watching these videos. He's inspiring me more and more very day to transition from running as a means of maintaining basic fitness to running for pleasure and sport. I get so much motivation from these videos. Thanks, Göran. :)
Göran, thanks for a super video! The footage is fantastic as usual but I really love how you talk us through your run, the strategy, how you’re feeling, it’s so informative. Please keep it up🙏🏻
Always love it when you upload. I really needed this as motivation, had some great training weeks but then I got sick and now I'm trying to get into full training again for the indoor season. Tack för motivationen, hoppas din träning går bra!
Thanks Anton, glad the video could work as a motivation boost, being sick is the worst when you just wanna run, glad your feeling better. Good luck with getting back to full training! 😊
This gave me goosebumps, it was so exciting to watch the race in first person view. I wish I had the chance to race on tracks like this. :) Congrats to your second place, Göran!
Great video mate, love the live course map and the voiceover and the head mounted 360 cam was a great idea, super stable and you can choose which direction you want to point it.
"I have never run a fast 5k before, my fastest 5k was 17 minutes" 🤣😂. That's pretty amazing honestly...I've never been able to break 22 minutes and have a 5k tomorrow..Hoping to break that pace but I know it's gonna be tough.
Great post production. Super fast run and amazing pace. I like video from 360° camera. Few times I even try to hide my head do not to hit a branch of the tree :)))
First video I watch and instantly wanna follow your channe just after 1,5 minutes. Pretty new to running so this is a great way to find motivation and tips&tricks for coming races! Great edit :)
Absolutely awesome!!! You chased a guy with the Vaporfly in just the daily trainer Challenger. Impressive and a good choice, love that Hoka shoe! Thanks for the footage and well done!
Hey Goran - do you race all year round or do you have a base building phase where you don't race? Do you do anaerobic training in addition to aerobic training all year round? I'm looking at the Lydiard training methods and he is recommending dedicating a chunk of the year to aerobic training only. Thanks.
Fantastic footage and the result! That has been my goal for some last years - to run a 5K under 17 minutes. Howerver, I feel that it starts to slip through my fingers (and my legs) with me getting older. Anyways, I'm happy to have found out your channel, looks like you have many cool videos for me to watch. Just subscribed!
I can keep a pace of 4.30min per KM for maximum 3km. After that my lungs and chest wants to EXPLODE. How in heavens name you can keep this pace is mind blowing. Only once someone runs and can you appreciate this effort!!!!
that editing was really good... not sure how you did the map and speed thing, it must have been manually / trying to replicate the data from the watch? Some after effects maybe? I wish I made this kind of quality edited videos :D
Impressive Goran!.....Great job!....your pace equates to like 10.8mph!...thats like interval pace for me....lol....lots of work to do. Keep it up, along with the great video production. I had a laugh at the new headgear, but definitely worth it....
Ser at Fjordløpet var i november så det er jo en liten stund siden, men gratulerer med fantastisk innsats Göran. Veldig sporty av deg å gi beskjed frem til Espen.
Just randomly discovered your channel and it's great! You have such energy and the content is SO well presented \0/ Can I ask what you use to gather / display all the stats etc? It's super slick! Also, WOW at your 5km time. Congratulations on the new PB. Thanks for the content
Welcome to the channel, glad to hear you like my content 😁. The data is recorded with my Garmin GPS watch and the overlay is edited with Garmin Virb edit.
I can't eat before a race! For me, I can feel ALL of the food sloshing around my stomach. 🤢🤮And, I also experienced "runners trots"🍑💩; EXTREMELY gross and embarrassing!😩 NEVER again! I stop eating solid food in the afternoon before a race. It's worked for almost 30 years now.💪😄🏃🏾 I really like your videos. Keep up the great work.👋🧑🏾⚕️
Great video and 5k time, but the fact that you helped out your competitor when he veered off course is what truly stood out to me. Terrific sportsmanship
Thanks for your nice comment! 😊

Yes, I loved that, too! And what a nice course, and awesome footage!
Love the post-editing with the course map, distance, and pace. It's like a running video game! Congrats on sub 17 min! Amazing!!!
Thanks Chad, glad you liked it 😊
@@goranwinblad Could you let me what app do you use to edit all the data in live action?
The humble sportsmanship to tell your competitor he's going off course is worth its weight in GOLD 🥇🤙
The footage, especially the speed up sections, was really enjoyable! So was the graphic overlay too. I liked seeing the pace /km. Congrats on your PR
Thanks Maja! Glad you liked it 😊

Quite noble of you to help out your competitor, loved it! You may have not won the race, but you won our hearts. Great race and editing overall.
Thanks!
Amazing quality! Love how much effort you put into editing your footage! Also massive to run a sub 17 on such a tricky 5k course!!
Always love it when you upload. I really needed this as motivation, had some great training weeks but then I got sick and now I'm trying to get into full training again for the indoor season. Tack för motivationen, hoppas din träning går bra!

You are my favorite runner and brought back joy to me trying to run again with my absolutely amazing pace 8:30/km
Maaaaan, it’s so mesmerizing to see this video and the editing. Loved it. Congrats bro.
Amazing pace. I do my 400m intervals at a pace of 3:30, so hat off to you!
Lol I was thinking the same thing! Crazy how he's able to sustain that speed for 5k
Awesome video, Göran! I love your content - it inspires me to push harder!
Love the Mini-map and the progress bar.
