    I came back to this review because i was thinking of pulling the trigger on this bottle. My store has it at a decent price. Its between this and Tears. But i love siete leguas, such a tasty brand.

    Great review. I agree. I put D'Antano up there in my top five: Tears, Tapatio Excelencia, 123 Diabilito, Paradiso, D'Antano. Thanks Lou and Dan!

    Just tried their basic repo. Very subtle but elegant flavor development. Doesn’t smack me with flavor immediately like el Tesoro or fortaleza, instead has a more gentle slow development on the palate from cinnamon butterscotch into the limey citrus notes i more prefer. Not as complex as those 2 either but in a good way.

    Awesome review thanks. My top five 1-5
    Seleccion Suprema, Tears of llorona, 7 leguas D'antaño, Rey Sol, & Tapatio Excelencia.

    Great review, could not agree more! I just had this last night for the first time, amazing stuff. I have yet to taste a slice of cooked agave pina , but now I know I can smell/taste it every time I drink this! Thanks Lou

    I have a bottle Single Barrel I bought last time I was in Atotonilco. My parents built a house 400 meters up the road from Casa Siete Leguas (at the second bend on the right). My mom's side of the family is from Atotonilco after moving from San Francisco de Asis nearby but in the highlands. Atotonilco is a VERY beautiful town. That whole stretch there is something unbelievable.

      It is so absolutely gorgeous there, without a doubt

      @@longislandloutequila7208 BTW, I met David Grapshi at a tequila tasting in Troy, Michigan. He's a good vato.
      I hope you return to Atotonilco and I hope you let me know WHEN you do. That town is my PASSION. Imagine a 5 year old child driving from Michigan to Atotonilco with his parents and 3 older siblings and once that earth opens up as you're driving from the Los Altos part of Atoto, mom says "ya llegamos!" (we've arrived!) and the child looks out the window to see this town way down below.
      You don't see those types of things growing up in Detroit. It was mind-blowing for me and now I go, on average, twice a year to deal with the family who rents my ranch. just up the road from the deviation that goes towards San Francisco de Asis.
      I would love to meet you and your boy, Dan. I'd be more than happy to make sure you guys are well fed and enjoy your time there and when a house on my ranch, you're more than invited to come round and enjoy waking up to an agave field sunrise. You and your son share my passion. that's enough for me, Long Island Lou.

    If you could only buy one, between this and Tears of Llorona extra añejo, which would you get? My favorite blanco is siete leguas. I really want a special occasion bottle. Thanks

      @@longislandloutequila7208 Compared to Adictivo Imperial XA, Don Julio Real XA & many others, this seems like a steal for the price!!!

    • @longislandloutequila7208
      @longislandloutequila7208  2 года назад

      @Daniel D'Angelo - without a doubt, I wouldn't even drink Adictivo...once was enough for me it's not even real. The Don Julio is only okay, but way overrated, bland and simple and the Imperial isn't as good as the old ones, but it's still very good.
