Right now I'm enjoying a bottle of Siete Leguas Blanco, and it's a level up from your average comercial brand of Tequila. I am sipping it straight and it is so smooth, I strongly recomend it.
One of the most underrated brands out there. You heard it here first this is the next cazacanes in the USA. My notes: lighter body than many other tequilas, great legs. Vegetal, mineral, anise, citrus and white pepper are what I get from it the most(In no particular order). One of the things that stands out the most is the lack of ethanol on the nose and just how easy it is to drink. One of my current favorite tequilas. Wishing the brand the best, but for now it’s a very well kept secret in my opinion.
Viejon, what's your opinion on autoclaves? I still to this day havent had a better Tequila that uses stone brick ovens and crushes the piñas with a Tahona, although Cazcanes has created a great tasting tequila using the autoclave, if i am not mistaken they use low pressure
I think the autoclave is a great modern alternative as long as it is done in low pressure and over a long slow process, rather than shaving production time for profits. The brick ovens tend to develop much more earthy smoky nuances in the tequilas but the ultimate process of breaking down the sugars is still the main goal! 🙌🏽
@@tequilabaeofficial unfortunately looks like you do not live in Las Vegas, if you did i would invite you to my bar at Bellagio brother... I haven't met anyone that respects tequila like i do, im constantly teaching everyone about the differences between Highlands and Lowland and the 5 states that are legally allowed to make Tequila... My name is Jose Antonio a sus órdenes, un placer🙏
What flavor profile do you associate with raw or cooked agave? I feel like when I ask this question, I get a lot of different answers that seem a bit foggy
I tend to notice vegetal/starchy components it’s also reflected in how grassy/herbaceous tequilas are! You can taste the plant for sure 🙌🏽 I hope this helps! Whats your favorite tequila?
@@tequilabaeofficial well I'm pretty new to it, so I don't know if I've got a favorite yet, but Siete Leguas Reposado was the first premium tequila I ever bought, and I very much enjoy it, so much that I also picked up the Blanco and Anejo. I've been building a bit of a collection, which includes some G4, Fortaleza, Ocho, and even some budget options like Arette and Suerte
you have every celeb, additive bomb, branded over priced tequila on your back. i don't see any good additive free tequila .. well siete leguas is good, but casamigos? 818? clas azul? lobos? come on,,,,,,,, where is fortaleza, ocho, G4, tapatio, el tesoro, volans, lalo, pasote, suerte, ?
We have added a lot of the special stuff 🙌🏽 as they are available in our market! We also introduce a lot of new tequila drinkers to the good stuff by Segway through the “bad stuff” salud 🥂
Siete leguas is legend and great juice. Though got to be honest you back bar is pretty rough. Almost none of the options behind you are well made authentic tequila. I see espilon which is an okay budget option the rest are a pass.
The selection over the last year has grown incredibly in the Midwest so I’ve been able to rack up a lot of quality additive free and small batch tequilas! Check out the other videos 🙌🏽🔥
Cut, let's do a reshoot of the " dive in taste " ... The pinky out is not so macho,,, so, grasp the glass in a less feminine way,,,and for visual effect, give your lips a long, pronounced lick.... Awesome... That's a take...

@@jackbrady86 those are really solid options! Try the Don Fulanos as well but honestly out of those Ocho is ELITE
@@tequilabaeofficial I have a spreadsheet of what I'm replacing each bottle with. I'll have to see if I can squeeze Don Fulano in there

Another hyped tequila I never bought again (anejo)
Siete Leguas is definitely not an overhyped tequila but we all have different points of view and that’s what makes it all so fun 🎉
I prefer tequila ocho but you’re smoking crack if you didn’t like this añejo
