Couldn’t agree more! That cerro de luz is insane. That is how a kiss of Monica Bellucci I imágenes would taste. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to try Aniversario. Still looking for that random place that might have it.
Love this video! It's pretty rare to see a full on side by side of all of these bottles so it's great seeing you make this content for us. Keep on making your videos Lou, you're a legend in the tequila community!
Really appreciate you reviewing these, I have seen some of their stuff around and they seem to be getting a lot of hype as well as a couple of other brands. I have noticed even their blancos are expensive glad to know it's because it's made the old fashioned way and done well, they seem to be the best thing going right now I have to get some for myself
Wow. Thanks for sharing such wonderful bottles. I was sipping the Cascahuin Plata when your video hit. I love the Tahona Blanco, too. Its just as good as the Plata. I haven't come across the Aniversario or the Cerro De Luz. What a treat to have those four in front of you. .
I've only been able to try the Tahona so far and it is the Best Blanco that I've ever tasted $98 in my town, but well worth it. Also I agree completely on the easy to sip !
I probably will this week, unfortunately I could only get one bottle :(. I always get two of the ones that you rate around 90. Enjoy one and save one ! @@longislandloutequila7208
Thanks Lou! Great video on Caschauin tequila. I do agree with other comments that you're the MVP and I have also learned a lot watching your videos. Salud!
- I'm sure you mean Volcan tahona Blanco right? If that's the case, I may go with that 'by a hair' believe it or not, but very hard to say. That would actually be a great blind taste comparison.
Lou - little_agave here I had to shift to the big screen for this from IG. 1st - a big appreciation for you sharing your tequila journey over the years. and not eating the marketing hook. as for the tequilas, my household are a big fan of the whole Cascahuin line (and other 1123’s), from blanco to the extra anejo we were able to pick up at the distillery. the tahona is stock on our home shelf. was fortunate to be able to try the aniversario and cerro de luz at a venue and they were excellent and lived up to the recommendations. never was able to try the french oak. oh well!
Thank you very much, I appreciate the love. Yeah that French Oak is really special, it's got a spicy sweetness that's so clean, and it's a real special sipper for sure. I wish they weren't so hard to find
Resting in glass lets the distillate settle down and merge together. It also smooths or softens out the tequila, and makes it easier to drink. Glass or stainless will not affect the tequila in any other way otherwise.
The original stuff is way superior to the newer version, but it's okay. I've had limited exposure to the newer versions, but I thought it was mediocre average tequila, as I'm not a huge fan of Tequila America's NOM 1480
OK, I went out and purchased some Yeyo over here in NH as the liquor is controlled and only sold by the state. That being said it is awesome tequila. Are you Italian or Sicilian.
@@davem.539- I love that question- haha, but I know what you mean. I'm Sicilian.BTW- if that's the new box Yeyo, it's got a different profile than the earlier lots... which I prefer
Anniversario is hands down the best of the bunch imo. Then closely followed by the Cerro de Luz. Cascahuin and Fortaleza are simply the best of the best and my top 2 favorite.
Lou you are the real mvp of tequila thanks for getting my journey into great tequilas started
Very nice of you to say, it's my pleasure Grant
JUST when we were talking about this Lou. How crazy! Sad I cant get my hands on ANY 😞. Cheers 🥂 and lucky you

I think Siembra Valles Ancestral Blanco would play nice with the ones on the right!
At least the ones on the left are still available.

My pleasure and that's extremely nice of you to say Johnny

Everything made by Cava at Cascahuín is amazing. They're one of the best distilleries.
You are the man Lou! My top
Two brands of all time are Fortaleza and Cascahuin🥃🥃
It's hard to go wrong with those two

I have the Plata 48 and love it !!! I also have the regular Blanco very good can't beat the price.Got both at old Town tequila. Thanks again Lou
I totally agree with you on that Richard
I get pepper or jalapeno on the nose on that Plata 48.

It's great for sure, try the Plata 48.. may surprise you

Thanks Lou. I'd rate them Cerro, Plata, Tahona & Anniverasio. All above 90 ratings for me and a must have in one's bar.
That can be hard to argue with, I really really love that plata myself
Thanks Lou! Great video on Caschauin tequila. I do agree with other comments that you're the MVP and I have also learned a lot watching your videos. Salud!
Thank you so much Robert
@@longislandloutequila7208 You're welcome Lou.
Love Cascahuin thanks lou
Plata 48 when it was under 60, best hi proof blanco value
Yup... I really love that one
Lou, what would be your recommendation between Cascahuin Tahona vs Volcan de mi Tierra blanco? Which bottle would you choose?

@@longislandloutequila7208 thanks... wow I wouldn't know they were close!
And go right ahead with that blind taste comparison; it's a great idea!

Great review as always Lou. I love the Cascahuin products. How does the Wild Common blanco compare to these ones?
I would say wild common is right there very very close
they rested it in glass for 6 months? Whats the difference between that and just bottling it right away?
Resting in glass lets the distillate settle down and merge together. It also smooths or softens out the tequila, and makes it easier to drink. Glass or stainless will not affect the tequila in any other way otherwise.
@@longislandloutequila7208thanks for spreading your knowledge Lou i greatly appreciate it
Casahuin out here in cali harder to find then Forteleza, saw the plata casahuin once in stock regret so bad not getting it that day
Yeah the Plata, especially for the money, is one of the best deals out there
hi Frank where you at in CA? If you area near bay area I can recommend a few locations
Lou what do you think 4 Copas blanco?
