I've been using the Ezekiel wraps to stuff with JSPs, Black beans and roasted veggies seasoned with cumin, chili, onion, and garlic powder. Then grill them in a non stick skillet till golden brown. They are great to take for the lake for the day and would be great for the car on a road trip. Thanks for another great video!
Tami and Tom. This is awesome. We have an RV and camp a lot. We have several friends we camp with and we are the only plant base. Been hard, but am committed. We are the oldest and would say the healthiest of the bunch, just saying. Love Corelle dishes for camping. Will share with Our Granddaughter, who camps and hikes also. Thanks so much. I do a lot of prep for our trips and it really helps. This will be my base recipe. ❤️.
Very helpful and great ideas! One tip to share, I bring ice packs with me and store them overnight in these little fridges, so we don't need to buy ice. :)
Grest ideas.. When we stay at hotels we do this same thing. Love the shelf stable rice. Makes it so easy to add to a salad. We stay healthy and save money, double win. Thanks gor sharing.
Love your travel tips. I noticed you had everything on the TV cabinet. When I’m preparing food in a hotel I use the ironing board as an extra work area. I cover it with a cloth I bring from home (or a towel would work). It provides a lot of room.
You two are amazing! I enjoyed seeing how you manage to travel and keep to your healthy eating routine. Thanks for making this video! It’s also much more economical than the alternative, eating out in restaurants besides being healthier and giving you more time out on the hiking trails.
This was such a great video showing how you can still eat healthfully on the road. Having the scissors to cut the salad was genius! Happy Hiking Tami and Tom
Great tips for staying healthy while traveling. Lots of helpful products...liked the cooked rice in the pkg and the tetra pkgs...keeps things light. Thanks for sharing and have a great trip!
Thank you both! Genius having the InstantPot liner double as wash basin. Would love to see how you baked the JSP’s, and pop the popcorn! Enjoy you two!! 🥗💪
This was a super helpful video. I watched it again with my husband because we’ll be going to glacier and needed ideas on how to eat healthy. Love the pre-cooked rice idea, bringing 2 qt bowls to prep food in, all the silicone zip bags, and loved knowing what you packed for a half day hike! Also, we just bought a cooler at Costco that you plug in to the cigarette lighter for power so we’ll take that on our camping trip and won’t need to get the food soggy when ice melts. Super convenient if anyone is interested
We have had 2 of the plug in coolers but found that they don’t stay cold when left in the car while hiking or sight seeing. You still need ice in them because once the car is shut off the car heats up and so does the cooler. Do use some ice in there inside a double freezer bags to make sure it stays cold. Happy travels!
Tami, thanks so much for sharing this. My husband will be so disappointed. Lol I think we’ll test it in our car outside our home on a warmer day before our trip in case we need to return it! 😊
Good idea to test it ahead of time. It’s only working and cooling while the car is running, not when the car is shut off. Also you have to make sure the fan on the cooler isn’t up against the seat as it needs air space around it to run properly. We found that we still needed ice in it for when the car wasn’t running. Especially for several hours while we are hiking and it’s hot outside and even hotter in the car. But if you double bag the ice in freezer bags it doesn’t leak as it melts and the food won’t get soggy.
Thanks Tami and Tom.. great trip packing ideas. Hope you enjoyed your hike.. My husband and I went to Bryce Canyon a few years ago and loved all the beautiful scenery with those magnificent hoodoos!!
This is such a great video!! Thank you both SO much for all that you share and teach us! Love the way you communicate the vast tips. Stay safe and enjoy the trip.
Hi Tami & Tom, thank you for this awesome video! I have a question about the Local Spicery Bouillon. What do you use that for on the road and at home? Thanks! 😁💕
Spectacular photos!!! Wow, this was jam packed with helpful and actionable suggestions. I also use the hotel room's coffee pot and ice bucket to mix my foods, etc, or store some sauces, etc. Have a wonderful time. This was so much fun! Thank you!!!! :)
Thank you for asking. There is not a memorial sale at Holland Bowl Mill. 🌱🥙🌱 They usually only have a sale twice a year. Black Friday and the perfectly imperfect sale in the spring. Like many businesses have experienced their cost of raw materials has gone up during the pandemic not leaving them much room for discounts. 🌱🥙🌱

You guys are SO prepared!
Very helpful and great ideas! One tip to share, I bring ice packs with me and store them overnight in these little fridges, so we don't need to buy ice. :)
Great idea. Most hotels have ice machines so we didn’t have to buy ice.
Grest ideas.. When we stay at hotels we do this same thing. Love the shelf stable rice. Makes it so easy to add to a salad. We stay healthy and save money, double win. Thanks gor sharing.
Thank you for sharing. Seeing the video put it in better perspective that this can be done.
This is sooooo helpful! Would love to see more because traveling can be a big trip hazard for staying on track ❤️
Love the term 'suitcase pantry'...

I have done that as well when there isn’t any other surface that will work.

Hi Tami & Tom, thank you for this awesome video! I have a question about the Local Spicery Bouillon. What do you use that for on the road and at home? Thanks! 😁💕
I use it in place of store bought vegetable broth.
Some very good ideas for traveling, thank you for sharing. ???? Do the muffins get squished in the zip bags????
Not at all
Is the road pro stove the one on Amazon? Does it just plug into your vehicle without any adapter? How long does it take for the sweet potato to cook?
Wow that’s awesome! How many days were you in that hotel???? That’s alot of food
We were gone for almost 2 weeks on a road trip staying in many places!
Spectacular photos!!! Wow, this was jam packed with helpful and actionable suggestions. I also use the hotel room's coffee pot and ice bucket to mix my foods, etc, or store some sauces, etc. Have a wonderful time. This was so much fun! Thank you!!!! :)

I wonder what the maid thinks when she comes in to cleans LOL
We have it all cleaned up and everything put away when we leave our room for the day. Nothing is left out to be in their way of cleaning the room.
