I would personally love more adventure content from you guys. I first followed for the recipes and vegan content, but I’ve grown to become very fond of you two. I’m envious of your relationship and the way you two laugh at each other’s jokes. But also the way you two are able to laugh at one another with one another. You two continue to bring positivity and joy into our lives through every video! I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one that feels this way as well!

Yes, YEs, YES! To more adventures and what you eat. My dream is to love in BC or Vancouver Isle so for now, I love watching your jaunts and so fun to see you and Crystal having fun and laughing! I car camp a lot and if you start to do it a lot, get a power station - life changing - and mark each window covering w the window it fits in. I use the silver insulation cut to fit, just a teeny tiny bit bigger so it sits in the window tightly. The woods where you awoke, STELLAR!!! Thanks for sharing!
I'm glad you're getting into camping content. I recall live streams last year where we were asking you about doing it! So cool. Camping in a hard-sided vehicle in that environment is also much safer to protect you against widow-makers. (dead limbs from trees that could break off and fall on your tent at night)
or bears. On the boarder of Oregon and Washington is a wonderful coastal park with the total misnomer of 'Cape Disappointment' which it is anything but. While parked in my car I witnessed a large juvenile bear (maybe 200lbs) walk across the road in front of my car. They are very scared of humans, but they will absolutely approach you if you smell like human food. A fed bear is a dead bear because once they learn to associate humans with food they are shot and killed to protect the ignorant humans.
@@Somethinghumble I’ve hiked most of the 2600 mile PCT through bear country most of it with nothing but a backpack, tent etc. Only in certain areas are you required to carry a bear canister for food. And yeah it’s mostly to protect the bears from getting used to human food. I’ve been very close to several bears. Never once did I feel threatened or scared. Black bears are not a danger to humans 99.99% of the time they’re just big dogs. (Unless you’re between a momma and cub.) Grizzlies, however, are a different circumstance entirely.

We live in Parksville/Qualicum Beach (French Creek actually) and I've often wanted to drive up to Telegraph Cove. We have a dog and aren't sure if we could spend the night up there. If you two do more camping would love to see more details about the food you bring along and any prep you do in making food for the trip. Loved your idea of making the tofu scramble to take along for breakfast.

Toppings - sundried tomatoes, avocado, cilantro, yoghurt. Bagged cabbage-style salad (last longer). Dinner #3: Quesada’s or Tacos - corn or flour tortillas, taco seasoning, fried crispy tofu strips, sweet potato, black beans, corn, cabbage slaw, lime, sauce, cheese, rehydrated salsa, yoghurt. Ferrocerium Rod. Flint is rock used as a striker to break off tiny pieces of steel to create a spark. Where as you use the 90 spine of the knife to shave off pieces from the Ferrocerium rod to create spark. Great video!! Make more of this style!!

Gorgeous scenery! It reminds me of several different areas I’ve been to in several different states and countries all in one area! Love the simple set up in the Rav! I’ve only been to BC once decades back. It was a macrobiotic gathering in a cool farm in Fernie, across from Whitefish Bay in Montana. Did some hiking one of the days. Red lentils, sun dried tomatoes, dried chives and garlic and some salt and curry powder cook up reasonably fast and make a delicious backcountry meal. Also, Harmony House makes some great Whole Foods Plant Based meal packs. Put them in an oven dilated food jar and add boiling water. Put the lid on and let stand for about 20 minutes and done.
Oooh! I love car camping (although I don’t find spare time to do it often)! This video was a delight! I’d love to see more of your setup, tips for what items were the most useful etc.

Vancouver Island is beautiful. My favorite beach was on a military base in Nanaimo. Tons of barnacles but it was covered in star fish. It was awesome! My brother in law worked there and they had campsites for employees only. Your trip is beautiful. Yes I enjoyed this.

Ferrocerium Rod. Flint is rock used as a striker to break off tiny pieces of steel to create a spark. Where as you use the 90 spine of the knife to shave off pieces from the Ferrocerium rod to create spark.

I’ve only been to BC once decades back. It was a macrobiotic gathering in a cool farm in Fernie, across from Whitefish Bay in Montana. Did some hiking one of the days. It stayed cool amidst those tall trees!

Red lentils, sun dried tomatoes, dried chives and garlic and some salt and curry powder cook up reasonably fast and make a delicious backcountry meal. Also, Harmony House makes some great Whole Foods Plant Based meal packs. Put them in an oven dilated food jar and add boiling water. Put the lid on and let stand for about 20 minutes and done.

Vancouver Island is beautiful. My favorite beach was on a military base in Nanaimo. Tons of barnacles but it was covered in star fish. It was awesome! My brother in law worked there and they had campsites for employees only. Your trip is beautiful. Yes I enjoyed this.
