I agree with all the others that told you to take off the training wheels (Driving Line) and just drive. The line is a crutch that you can live without. Honestly it probably only slows you down. If you don't know what way the track goes then take some practice time and learn it. And, if you can see that a turn is coming just slow down. You don't need a red line for that either.
I race in the ray 1600 series too, it's crazy how hard the lapped people will race you sometimes. Makes me wonder if they're just oblivious or what.

You should really turn off that racinging line now and learn where the braking markers are and watch we're the other drivers are braking. Because it will be harder to adjust the longer you use the racing line.

CTRL+PgUp/PgDwn will increase or decrease the iRacing UI. When using an external cam, its sometimes nice to scale that huge iRacing watermark down. Nice video.

Good video and race! Would be a easy podium without that lapped car.. You should probably recalibrate your throttle, as it bounces quite a bit in straights (can be seen from the input telemetry). This might lose you some time and speed
now looking back your right, i always wondered why i would lose pace on the straights
You're using a g920, right? Open the back part of the pedals and spray some wd40 into the potentiometer of the throttle. People would probably not recomend that, but it is what made mine go bouncy. It will fix it for some time until you need to do it again.
Turn on your quick repair, no need for a 30+ second pit stop in this series.

Nice video there! One tip I can give on these ff1600 is to bind a second clutch button on the wheel. You can use it in the start and to change gears, just have to synchronize your fingers to press it at the same time as the gear up
you only need clutch to go from N to 1 i believe

by chance you on a logitech wheel? guessing that from the small little throttle flickers you are getting had the same on my old g920/g29 wheel

@@BaileySavva if u can or when u can I’d suggest an upgrade to a thrust master wheel they are smoother and don’t have same throttle flicker problem good racing out there aswell
man, just a tip, clean your pedals, your pedals are glitching a lot, you can see during the video, the miss press or depress of the pedals
your pedals are easy to repair, just open the the pedals and put the contact cleaner in it
A lapped car blocking P2 & P3! That is the worst.

Great video. What is it about some people on iRacing that feel the need to ruin races. In my opinion one of the most annoying things about iRacing is lapped cars ruining your race and not yielding, the sooner iRacing get with it and update logic to reflect the rules for the majority of real racing rules the better imo.
