Nim Li Punit, Belize, the Big Hat

This is part one of a two part series where I visit two sites in one day: Nim Li Punit this time and next time Lubaantun. Both of these sites are fairly small. Neither has any particularly large buildings, however, the construction methods and materials are somewhat unusual for Maya architecture. This is my first excursion in southern Belize from my base in Punta Gorda.
The name Nim Li Punit is a Kekchi Maya phrase meaning "Big Hat". You'll see why it's called that in the video. I hope you enjoy watching! Don't forget to like and subscribe if you do.
