I'm a sucker for lovely book covers, so I enjoyed this a lot! Thank you for sharing!
Ohhhhhhh I am rather looking forward to this 😊
So beautiful, love all the little trinkets that enhance the space.
Your jumper gives me life. It's so perfect. Thanks for sharing your beautiful books with us!
I feel like I need to rewatch this with a notepad, make myself a little reading list. Also those covers were super pretty.
Such incredibly beautiful books, thank you for showing us! 🙆♀️
I've truly been enjoying getting to know more bits and pieces of you and your life through this vlog series. It's genuinely so interesting and refreshing to see!
Fabulous! Thank you for the tour!
Thank you for watching!
Its cool seeing all these stylized covers, I just pick up the cheapest or most old looking cover most of the time
An excellent selection 😊
Congrats, you have an astonishing collection!
Middlemarch is literally probably one of my favorite books of all time
Worthy little tour. Thanks for sharing them with us.Though I must confess that the librarian in me desperately want to organize them a bit. Fascinating color palette. The Jules Verne book that stuck out fits my library scheme perfectly.
How fun! Your bookcase is lovely. The jewelry around the pretty books made me think of my mom, who used to use jewelry she didn’t wear to mark her favorite poems in books. Also, do you play cello?
Hi! New to your channel. Only 25seconds in and I can already see your Proust trilogy 🤩 So jealous! And seeing the different versions of the clothbound classics! My sense and sensibility is light blue and pink been! I've been loving your content! I really enjoyed Mayor of Casterbridge more than another Thomas Hardy ❤ Hope you get round to it 🥰
Edit: Gasp! Original Crime and Punishment! 🤩😱
Lovely collection! Glad there are some fantasy novels:)
I looove your bookshelf tours so much! Gorgeous! Also your trinkets are always the best! Such cute additions it gives your bookshelf so much personality.
I love bookshelves tours! Your knickknacks are so cute too ❤️
Yesss, I got so happy to see the notification for this video. I love books! 😍😍
I AM WITH YOU ON TESS! I have a whole rant about the sheer misogyny of that entire story and I hate it.
Beautiful collection… thanks for showing them. I too have many beautiful books mainly on esoteric topics. Never really been a big fan of fiction … apart from Burroughs and Irvine Welsh.🥳
Your Hitch Hiker's Guide is in slightly better condition than my slowly disintegrating paper back edition. I actually read it in the days when people really did think that digital watches were a good idea.
god damn that is a nice collection , have a good Christmas . those books are so pretty , I stick mainly to paper back myself.
That's a lovely bookcase. I hope to have a personal bookcase of my own someday. I could definitely read more, but there are certain few reads that really helped shape the way I think for the better, and I might not have the hope I do today if I didn't read those books then.
i feel i am inverted from most readers..i borrow tales of literature, and collect books about philosophy (Plato, Hobbs, Hegel, etc). that said, i do have lovely books from an artist called Lesley Pearce, and recently bought Holly Black's "the Folk of the Air" trilogy, which has been an absolute thrill to read.
thank you for showing your collection! a beautiful series of choices you made
Love your library. I found your channel after your defense of the existence of the Roman Empire. Looking forward to more academic discussions. Bravo...
So much fun, beautiful collection
Lovely bookcase!! Thanks for sharing
What a WONDERFUL Collection!❤🦋🦄
I am so excited to watch this yay!!
Wow love it! I have the Brontë sisters and Jane Austen collections too
I've always dreamt about having some of these books. The covers are all just so magical!
Big Austen fan too. May I ask which is your favourite of her novels?
Those Terry Pratchett books are beautiful and I'd not seen them before this video. I also think the original covers are ugly and they put me off reading the Discworld books for so long. Thank you for sharing!
Dear Cinzia, I love your channel. Yes, it is amazing how your Penguin clothbound classics are in good condition. How? Most of the paint on my covers has worn off! I just read 'Middlemarch' and, within a week, the cover was looking a bit sad. I am also astonished that 'Moby-Dick''s your favourite book 'cos it's mine too.
You are just so lovely! I loved your book collection, you have my favorite copy of the Hobbit and I love the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy copy you have. I was wondering if you’ve ever read Taylor Caldwell’s “Captains and the Kings,” before? It’s one of my favorite books. Anyways, I really enjoy listening to you and hanging out. Just wanted to show you some love. ✌️💙💚
Books are life. Mine are double-stacked, too lol
Here I was thinking for a second that you had downsized your collection! 😂 Having a beautiful books section is a fun idea. I think I'll rearrange my bookshelf in the next lockdown here.
Oooooo. I never thought about shelving by appearance. What a good idea. Agree with you about Wide Sargasso Sea. And I love how colorful your shelves are. You didn't like The Wolf Hall books?
This was such a beautiful video, I love these books so much!
I’m so glad your “rebranding” is going so well, yay you!
PS Penguin should really sponsor a video ☺️
Thank you for sharing your beautiful books with us! It was lovely to see them, those covers are beautiful! I’m gonna try and get into Terry Pratchett next year, any recommendations of where to start or should I just read them in order 😂 love your content Cinzia 👍🏻💜😊
A new angle!? How can this be?? Thank you for the tour!
Yes, lucky me.. a Cinzia bookshelf tour, loved it!
I wonder why Moby Dick is your favourite book? I have never read it but heard so many people talk about it with very varying opinions. And also I was wondering: what are your thoughts about Lord of the Rings, Terry Pratchett ánd the Hitchkikers guide to the Galaxy? A lot of questions I know but I realized I don't know and I was really curious when I saw you show them to us!
Do you play the cello?! Also, you could try to sun-fade the book you don’t like the color of (I think it was yellow and black).
Outstanding. 😁
Thank you. By the way, for some strange reason I'm not surprised to see a cello in the corner.
Lady Charley lover! Lol!! Riskee
Your sweater is so cute
No Frankenstein I say. I hope you do have a copy of it as it is one of the greatest Gothic novels ever written.
I have a copy just not in the clothbound edition.
Hey Sis👋 I recently commented on a different video of yours expressing my support and well-wishes on your RUclips journey, as well as life. Beyond my interest in your content, there’s a huge part of your video personality that reminds me of my teen daughter Camille :) She adores reading, writing, creating, and learning - I’m wicked proud of her! Unfortunately, in her school and amongst most her age, that often seems to leave her as the odd one out :( She does have some wonderful close friends, but overall I know she struggles with feeling different and alone. I don’t know how busy you are overall or if there would even be a willingness to - however, if you’d ever want to chat about the Heights/Jane sisters, Green Gables, etc I honestly believe she’d love that :)
Just food for thought Miss Library Ma’am. Thanks for your time and for any possible consideration.
This is a woman after my own heart
Do you have a PO box for mail? I get so much from your content and have a little thing I'd love to post. X
Lovely video 🖤🖤 vegan kisses from Italy
I was expecting blood meridian to pop up in there for some reason.
I decided only to watch postive people next year. You're one of them🙂 A hippie subscriber!✌️
bellissimo but you should read Witcher from Andrzej Sapkowski
I enjoyed the game, but I’ve heard mixed things about the books!
@Women's rights was a Mistake Witcher is a man, pleb ...
Hello lovely!
Hello!
Let us hear the Jane Austen essay 🤓🤓
It’s been up a couple of years here on my channel!
Hello beautiful how are you doing your so fun I hope you have a wonderful day
I'm new here
Hi, New Here!
@@CinziaDuBois nice to meet you lady of the Library :)
Are you a cellist? :O
You don't have Frankenstein in your collection?! We must remedy this.
I have a copy of Frankenstein, but I didn’t love the book enough to buy the clothbound edition 🙈 sorry! I’m just not that big a fan of either the book or the clothbound design
@@CinziaDuBois How can you hate the design - the hearts?! 😭 MY heart is breaking 💔 😂
I'll take Modern Libraries from the sixties over any other binding. They're nice without any phony baloney fancying up. No leather, cloth, acid free paper, and most importantly, sewn signatures. I don't know if they are sold in the UK or when they started doing so if they are.
Unfortunately I've noticed that there are the people who have too many books and those who have none. In my bookseller days I just advised that people figure out what they are and embrace it.
Unfortunately I'll have to ask that your channel be shut down for your failure to sort your books by subject, author surname, author given name, and title.
I don’t want to sort my books out by author, subject or title. Why would I want other people to know how to use my library? My library is just for me to use, not for anyone else. I know where all of my books are because I’ve organised it personally. It’s a code. I don’t want other people to know how to use it.
If you didn't like Tess, I don't think you'll like Anna Karenina, either. Both portrayals of women are pure cringe, like a glimpse into a teen boy's diary.
