Craigs bond was so real. It’s an actual story instead of just bite sized ludicrous adventures. He almost never had a happy ending and he had weaknesses. It just so amazing

That’s arguable I’d say. He made Bond evolve with the times. I’ll give him that. More rugged, more muscular, more physical more aggressive, much more colder. Personally my favourite Bond will always be Sean Connery. But each of them were quite meticulously chosen weren’t they? Each of em had a level of charisma that they carried on screen splendidly. Whatever side we Bond fans might take in terms of choosing our favourite Bond actor, all of us can easily and unanimously agree on one thing I’d say: watching a Bond movie will always be an absolutely cracking affair!

Next to Craig, the rest of Bond movies look like comic book adaptations. With him, they have managed to completely revamp the series and turn the character into a total bona fide badass who is also still human, with his own vices and imperfections, and is, most of all, believable. It is really hard to think of an actor who could've been better suited for the job, and I fear for the fate of the franchise because I have no idea how they are going to fill his shoes.
Daniel Craig made James Bond more believable and human than anyone else before him. Perhaps the movies about Jason Bourne did have som influence on the James Bond franchise as well.

I think his creative control really helped the last film and getting Phoebe WB really helped making the movie more well rounded without emasculating JB or making him a joke.
Loved the choice you made at the end to make reference to Bond reacting to his obituary. That's the man he was, and died as: it was about duty and service, not to be remembered, but to help those who needed it most regardless of accolades.

Gets rescued by Kissy Suzuki and lives as a fisherman until he gets memory flashes about Vladivostok - that island on which Craig's Bond dies was in disputed Russian/Japanese territory, remember. In the first chapter of The Man With The Golden Gun, Bond turns up, not knowing where he's been and tries to assassinate M. In his pre-meeting interrogation, the interrogator says "There was always something odd about 007's death. No body. No solid evidence. And the people on that Japanese island always to me to be playing it pretty close to the chest." It'll be a line in the next Bond film. I'm interested to see how they tie this Bond in with the next one. It'll need the Hell of a plot to keep it as good as Craig's.

Craig isn't my favourite Bond, but I'm very appreciative of his era and the realism it brought to the series. Casino Royale in particular was such a colossal movie and a fresh take on Bond.

This is a wonderful montage, almost a loving tribute to the collection of films that Daniel Craig has given to us. But its not just his acting and the writing and incredible presentation of the films producers, its not just the little references and easter eggs in the later films but for me its the fact that these films get closer to the way the character was written in the original books than any other films in the history of the franchise. And as one of the other comments says this ontage has a good sprinkling of those little quiet moments of wisdom and reflection. The moments the man who has seen far too much wishes to gloss over the horror and focus on his duty. Beautiful work by everyone concerned

I absolutely loved Dame Judi Dench as M. Hands down the best M they've had in the series. The new Q is really good as well. Nobody can replace Desmond Llewelyn. He defined the role for so long, but Ben Whishaw has created his own take on the role that works well.

When Jason Bourne was released, the directors decided to update the 007 style.

Well done! What a great Bond montage homage. Sean Connery was always my favorite James Bond...but the Daniel Craig James Bond really raised the bar to a whole new level. Big fan of Daniel Craig's Bond, hard hitting action, but also a Bond that had vulnerabilities.

I remember when he was cast, and the hate was overwhelming. Will surely fail. Terrible replacement. Ridiculous, etc. etc. Turned out pretty well I'd say. :)
