I'm gonna guess you grew up in the nineties. This song came out around the same time as Batman the animated series and for me the two have always been linked. When I saw the trailer my reaction was, "holy shit I'm not the only one"
I was shocked by the fact that this Batman is even more realistic than Nolan's, congratulations to the people who produced this movie, a new and epic era for Batman has begun!
I mean Chris Nolan's Batman's were more like James Bond, if anything they felt more realistic because so much of it was shot on location. I enjoyed the latest but I def preferred the sheer magnitude of the Chris Nolan movies. So many of those sequences they really shot will stand the test of time.
Just to remind the young generation and those who don't read Batman comics, Batman was always a dark and retrospective hero, the beauty of this movie is that its puts the light on batman first's 2-3 years as Batman and how he struggle to find the right essence of batman as a symbole not as a person/ hero
According to me, Batman/Bruce Wayne, Alfred, Joker are one of the top tier fantastic characters written in all of any comics. The character layer composition is just too near to being normal humans with light and dark sides.. the masks humans don.. the sanity and insanity.. just too good to be true.

I was pleasantly very surprised after I watched this movie. All I heard were negative comments about this version of Batman. But man, he blew me out of the water. His Bruce Wayne was a bit harder to swallow but fits the movie, I guess. Can't have a spick and span Bruce when Batman is dark and brooding. It was a good compromise.

I loved this movie. People want a fun rich playful bruce wayne with a brutal batman. That concept never made sense to me. You would beat the shit out of them and when you go home and take off the mask. You wont be smiling at everyone and be fine.
