Mainly those videos where they take a plush toy of someone like yoshi and proceed to torture him (I was a weird kid) I found this video which was not only my introduction to Mario 64 DS and my extension, Mario 64 as a whole, but also my introduction to speedrunning. And when I did get the game for myself, I tried to recreate this run. Obviously I couldn’t do any of it, but it was nice to see the parts of this game that this speedrun glossed over.

The N64 used anti-aliasing to blur the textures so that they could hide how pixelated the textures were. It’s not truly smooth, and some people hate how it looks. Plus, the models in this game have been massively improved. Goomba, Chain Chomp, and Mario are excellent examples of this.

Eszik3 It does, however require skill in the game. These tases take ages, believe me. Sometimes you need hours, sometimes weeks, sometimes months.
I thought the 64 version speed run was amazing but this definitely takes it up a notch : )
