I just lost my close sister to covid19 so I feel their loss more than ever....me and my sister are about Selena age ..and we are from corpus...so we grew up listening to Selena...saw her at the mall, airport, her house...we never bothered her....

As a drummer and a teacher, I wonder if people realize how impressive Suzette actually is. She is an amazing drummer. Think about she has gone through motherhood, not regularly played for over 20 years and sits down and nails it. What an inspiration!

I don’t care what band you listen to whether on media or live in concert… the band doesn’t have true sound until those drums begin to thunder. I got chills down my spine as soon as Suzette began hitting those drums. Funny how every time that I hear Selena I always look for Suzette’s rhythm on the drums. It was so nice to see AB and Suzette play together again, pure musical magic… great music.

@@75DrummerBoy we all gotta make a living, I don't think Abraham ever used Selena, he worked just as hard as she did but behind the scenes. He created something beautiful with his family (Selena and los Dinos), Selena would have never been who she is if it wasn't for her family, so yeah Abraham has the right to keep using his daughter's image to continue to make a living, I don't think Selena will have a problem with that.

AB grew bitter and very unhappy after his sister was murdered. AB has not been the same since Selena went away. He loved his sister. In many instances, he blamed himself and his father for the death of his sister. The Quintanilla family basically fell apart for Selena's death. Everything collapsed without her. Selena was the backbone of that family. Selena was a shining star. Now that she is gone; all projects and plans faded away and vanished.
I don't know if it has happened but Selena y Los Dinos should be inducted into the Hall Of Fame.

@@patriciavaldes4106 I just checked and Selena was inducted into the Houston Rodeo Hall Of Fame in March, 2020. But, she should be inducted in The Rock-and-roll Hall Of Fame. At least a major hall of fame.

Damn, both Suzanne and AB still got it after all these years. Killed me not Selena up there with them. But damn, they both got better with age. Suzette is living proof that girls can do whatever the hell they want to and still be a badass. I mean, she is a great drummer and you really don't see female drummers in the music business.
