She was an icon and seemed to be such a humble and loving individual. I really enjoyed seeing her and her most prized possessions at her museum, however I almost got kicked out of the museum.

I met Chris Perez a few years ago. He was the most humble person I’ve ever met. Didn’t mind talking about Selena. Total 180 from the family.
I always thought the opposite because I recall reaching out to him on social media and he never replied back but Suzette did.

The father is straight up rude. When I visited the museum. I met her aunt Delores. She was super sweet. The dad walked in and I asked if I could get a picture with him. He said yes and then said, "You better not sell it." I told him that I wouldn't but then I thought to myself, "Who the hell wants to buy a picture of you?" 🤣🤣🤣

They've probably gotten extra bitter towards fans since Selena's death anyway, I mean Selena was senselessly shot & killed by one of her biggest fans for no good reason.
That's sad. Just cause one fan acted that way doesn't mean all fans are like that. Her memory and lagacy is what it is today because of the fans. So obviously not all are Yolanda Saldivar.

It was just a very selfish act just as Yolanda is, SELFISH. She single handedly messed up her job and then she killed the source who was nice enough to let her start it.

Why do you think she made up that story about being raped in Mexico, to get Selena to feel sorry for her so she wouldn't fire her ass. But Selena finally saw right through her b.s. and wasn't falling for it anymore, and once Yolanda couldn't manipulate her gullible employer anymore she killed her. That's not a good reason to shoot anyone, people get fired all the time but they go out and find another job, Yolanda knew she was loosing the best job she ever had.

He signed the contracts, he got the gigs, he hired the band, he rehearsed the band, he drove them to the shows, handled all the business. That band was HIS business. AB QUINTANILLA has producer and songwriter credits for the majority of the songs. AB gets those royalties, not Selena's estate. Even if she was ALIVE, she would not own her music catalog or publishing rights. Selena didn't own any of that. If YOU would look into her story, and LISTEN to what SELENA said, you would know that she started her fashion business because she wanted something of her own. She was working on a Bachelor's degree in Business when she was killed.

I remember meeting Chris Perez at one of his book signings in California. Let me tell you, he was the most humble person I've met. We actually had a good two minute conversation while he took a picture with me and signed my book. I've heard stories about Selena's siblings and dad... I wouldn't want to meet them because they give off that negative, un-welcoming vibe. Suzzette straight up embarrassed you in front of people and that's messed up.

I found that really strange, I get sibling rivalry but why would you rat out your sister with the intention of causing family problems.
When I read the book, it feels like if Selena was tired of the life she had, she loved her family very much you can tell because she had a big heart, but she felt trap and she wanted to live her own life away from it all. That's the only reason why they outcast Chris her husband and prevent him from getting involve in anyway.

I feel like if she didn't meat Yolanda that day she would have released a couple more albums after Dreaming Of You do a couple more tours then take a break for a couple years and start a family and take a break from the music business and focus on things like her boutique and fashion/make up line

@@ethanramirez770 I think they have their favourite kind of people. This may sound a little racy, but probably the people who had a bad expirience with Abraham and Suzette weren't Mexican and I think they are only nice and sweet to the ones that are Mexican.
I have always felt like there was something very bitter and mean about suzette. they didn't put it in the movie, but it was actually her who ratted Selena and Chris out to their father. I do think their was some jealousy, and I also believe that suzette liked Chris as well. even Chris said that before he became friends with Selena, him and suzette were close, so seeing him move on with Selena had to be hurtful, especially since Selena had already had it ALL. the beauty, the body, the charisma, the personality, the voice, AND THEN the husband? she puts up this front, but I can tell that deep down, she isn't the person she presents herself to be.

Personal opinion but I feel like she. Like possibly have been jealous of selenA . She was legit the main attraction , she had all the attention the dad made her the lead singer , she had this amazing body amazing voice and all her sis did as play drums and didn’t have a fit body. In the movie it even shows how they BOTH thought he was cute and if they were close before him going to selena that explains a lot! She runs the business but it’s all for money she may love her sister but like ....

I served her brother at the restaurant I worked at and I didn’t even recognize him at all when I approached them and when I walked away at to input their order his manager came up to me and said “ he wants me to let you know you need to relax and don’t act so star-struck”...keep in mind I had no idea who he was...then I went to my manager and told him what he said and he recognized him but still it was just weird...

Wow talk about an ego , I can only imagine if Selena were alive today I don’t know maybe that family would of been living off her success . I don’t know if they are really sad about the whole situation or bitter that they lost their main bread winner and I feel that whole family depended on Selena and her success but also wanted to control her at the same time . I met Suzette and her father at the Selena Museum a few years ago and she was actually quite nice. She actually allowed us to take many pictures/selfies with her and her father allowed us to take pictures with him. She even used my phone and recorded a video of me and her on snapchat. It’s sad to hear that many people have had unpleasant experiences there /:

Daang that's crazy cause I'v been at the museum many times and the very very first time Suzette came out of her office and she was very kind and we had the chance to take pictures with her , the second time me and my cousin went and Mr. Abraham was making jokes with us and he literally took us to his office and showed us videos on his computer and everything we were with him for more than 40min
It’s been hit or miss with interactions, I’ll definitely give it another go all though I’m not going to meet the quintanillas I’d just go to visit the museum again

In the first place, now that Selena isn't recording and performing, the sales of her albums and other things related to her is pretty much her family's livelihood. Are they supposed to give it all away, and starve? The estates of virtually ALL musical artists who have passed away make money from the sales of their music, concert dvd's, t shirts, etc., so why should the Quintanillas be singled out for criticism, and the "greed" accusations? If you're going to accuse THEM, you're going to have to accuse a whole lot of OTHERS, as well. And, just so you know, part of all the money they make goes to The Selena Foundation, which was set up in her honor to help the poor, the underprivileged, the elderly, and those facing a crisis in their lives, among other things. They don't make money, those people don't get that help. And, I've been a fan for nearly 23 years, and have met both her father and her sister, and I can tell you, without any reservations at all, that they love Selena far too much, and are far too respectful of her memory, to consider her to be nothing more than a source of revenue, as so many have claimed. It's utter nonsense, to put it mildly.

I live in Corpus Christi. I see Suzette around town all the time. Twice at Chili’s, and fans were lined up to speak with her. Which I was surprised because she was eating and you’d think she wouldn’t want to be bothered. But she seemed happy to talk to them. I also met her one night at Whataburger, it was her and a small group and just my husband and I in the whole building. I was afraid to ask for a photo but my husband approached her and asked her for me. I apologized for disrupting her meal and she was so sweet. We took a photo. My husband even knew one of the people in her group. It was so cool.

I remember going to the museum when I was like eight or nine, and Suzette came out and conversed with myself and my family. She was nice to us, so I'm surprised to see people say that she's actually really rude because I didn't get that energy from her back then (this was like 2009 or 2010).

Her attitude towards you was uncalled for. She should have handled it differently. In her defense I always got the sense Suzette is a bit bitter. You can love and adore your siblings but feel ambivalent towards them . In her case her life, job is her sister. I went to the Selena Museum and her dad was there and I asked if I could give him a hug and he said yes. He was actually really nice and he took us behind the scenes of the place . He also let us ask him questions about Selena and the movie. So I had a good experience with him. The only thing he wasn’t cool with was taking a picture with him but that’s ok because I was happy to even be there and I’m happy he treated me well😊💜💜

In 2000, when I went to the Selena museum, I saw Abraham and I extended my hand, and we shook hands. So I went to the museum, had a picture of Selena, and Abraham signed it, "To Jeff from Selena's Dad." We shook hands again, and he said, "Be careful." (You'll see that again in one of my other comments). That didn't strike me as rude. In fact, I found it kind of cool.
Suzette is the business person, she keeps everything going. When I met the father last year he was so sweet to me. He even sung happy birthday to me. So I think it’s painful still for the family because that was there livelihood.

exactly!! I have a theory so I’m going to say it, isn’t it crazy how most artists who get a grammy were killed? Like how come Whitney Houston got a Grammy and then suddenly died from an overdose? The reason why Selena’s family were sad and upset was because Selena was their cash cow, Selena was the one who made them money. (PS. This is a theory so this is my point of view of the situation, i don’t know if it’s true)

Kamen Jones yes! He really did. I felt like her and I have the same personality. My birthday is today and hers is the 16th. We are Aries ♈️ once she had her mind set on doin something that’s it! She shopped on impulse 🤣 and loved animals. Anytime I go shopping I go straight to the animals 🤣🤣 I love that he wrote the book on her 💜

The only time I swear ever saw an angel (I didn’t realize it at the time) it was in the form of a little Mexican girl wearing thick coke bottle glasses dancing down the street with earbuds and she had a “Selena” shirt on.
That whole day I had spent just wanting to see an angel, fully believing in angels and having total faith. I saw this girl and thought it was cute and went on hoping to see an angel... only years later realizing how curious and puzzling it was to see a young girl around 8 years old dressed in summer wear in the middle of January freezing cold, dancing down street with traffic and no parent to be seen anywhere, completely oblivious. I’m pretty sure that was the angel.
I believe she just represented the essence of Selena. Pure love and innocence.
I hope that little angel is doing well!
It's crazy how they were almost homeless at a time and became so greedy. They literally abused Selena by taking her out of school and forcing her to work and provide for the whole family at only 6 y/o.

It always frustrates me how people will diss Selena’s family based on what they have heard. I read in to Selena with love that Selena once turned down a fan in a restaurant. Now did that make Selena a bad person? No. It’s what humans do some days. They don’t want to deal with people. Famous or not. What really gets my skin is how people always talking about “the quintanillas are using her for money” this is HER family. They are looking after their SISTERS legacy. Selena lived her whole life becoming a star and then one day she was MURDERED by someone the whole family trusted. What a waste of life it would be if the family stopped her legacy.

Sorry it’s always been about the money even before she died, that’s why Mr. Q didn’t want her to get married that would tear up the band and he wouldn’t be financially secure, but he was damn pleased when Suzette and AB got married. He didn’t allow her to have a life (in the recent Netflix movie produced by her own sister). She seemed so unhappy and could not live freely like her siblings and was forced to elope. That was so sad.
What you hear & what you experience are two different things. Judging by word of mouth is childish, it's what you experience that leaves your lasting impressions & if your treated negatively that's going to be the form of your opinions about them. After all you are still paying your money to visit their establishment so that means you deserve to be treated with some level of respect.

It’s crazy that Chris is kind of the only like genuine guy when it comes to the family. Like Chris from what I see and hear is a pretty cool guy. He understands that Selena had an impact on her fans lives and he still cares for her fans. Meanwhile her direct family just come off as super rude to the people that made them. It’s weird since most music groups and artist treat their fans really well since they understand that they are the reason they are there, but the Selena’s family apparently doesn’t get that
If I was her keeping my sister's legacy alive I would be humble to the people who take the time to come wherever they are from to visit my sisters memorial but each their own !
The museum is a joke. They’ve made so much money the minimum they could’ve done was paid professionals to take care and preserve everything better. I've seen several of these videos on RUclips. Some about her sister and some about her Father, Abraham. I've also seen written a few blogs the way they act. I honestly think her sister has some major jealousy issues and I think she lives vicariously through her. I think she has good and bad days. I think Sunday she's grateful and really misses her sister and I think some days she's so mad that her life revolves around her sister even after she's passed.

I’m 22 and part Hispanic but I’m mainly Native American. I’m from a Indian reservation in South Dakota and I flew down to Corpus Christi last summer for a vacation with my family. I have family in Corpus. I grew up listening to Selena but as I got older I finally realized that her family wasn’t what they appeared to be. To me Selena was the black sheep of the family that everyone loved. Me and my family went to the museum and it was life changing! I saw Suzette and some friends of the Quintanilla family but I kept my distance as I knew they were busy because they just signed a new artist and I just didn’t want to intervene with their work. The studio/museum is pretty small but if the family doesn’t want to be bothered by fans then I suggest they move the studio and just have the building for the museum! I can get why they won’t ever leave that building for they probably feel close with Selena but it’s just sad they brush off their fans! I do feel they’re just exploiting Selena these days but hey she’s not my sister or my daughter what do I know. Watching the movie, Selena’s concerts, interviews and reading Chris’s book opened my mind to the truth of her family. There’s supposedly a Netflix tv series coming out on Selena and my first thought was a money grab! Chris wanted to produce a tv series for Selena but her family tried to sue him over it!!! When him and Selena got married she was no longer daddy’s little girl! Even in death Selena will ALWAYS belong with Chris!!! All these comments on the family will never make me change my mind about them! I hope and pray Selena is not looking down on her family...
I had a really positive experience with Suzette. We complimented each other & took a picture together. Abraham, however was talking angrily in his office, loud enough for everyone to hear, then he slammed his office door once he realized we all were listening. I love the museum, too! I took pictures of every nook & cranny so I could look back at all her stuff.

I was working at the bank when customers came in almost crying about Selena. They had told me what had happened and one of them was just at her concert it was so sad. May she RIP. They loved Selena and lived in California. I still love her music so much.

When I went to the museum, there were some people there who were letting their kids run around. Suzette came out and got after the lady for not watching her kids. I didn’t know Selena’s family is usually there so when I saw and heard suzette I was like “is that Selena’s sister?” Honestly it was kind of awkward because she got after the lady and then went straight back into her office. She didn’t smile or wave at anyone else to not make it awkward. Maybe they should hire security but I’m sure it’s hard for them to trust people.
That’s how I was in shock it was suzette and she looked mad so I took a picture because I wanted to share that I saw her but it just went down hill. My husband had my daughter by the hand because honestly there are so many sensitive things in there I totally understand her worry.

I hate reading all these bad stories of her family. I met Abraham a few years ago at the museum and he was so nice. He took over the tour and showed us places the normal tour would not go. Spent quite a bit of time with him. He happily took pics with me. They're keeping her memory alive and I think that's a wonderful thing. If you haven't been to the museum it is a must see.
I can name two encounters I had that I witnessed their rudeness:
The first one was at the museum. Suzette and the dad were there each in their offices. The dad keeps his door open and Suzette had her door closed but would come in and out because there were 2 workers there that were going to fix the ceiling/wall or something on the wall to the right when you first walk in. Suzette was the only one who would talk to those workers about it. So at one point she went back in her office and a few minutes later one of the workers was looking for her to ask a question so he went to go knock on her office door. When the dad saw that he got up and yelled at the guy "what do you want,get away from that door!" He said it so nasty.
Suzette came out and said "relax dad". I know he had seen her and them talking earlier, I know he knew they were the workers but in yet acted like that.
The second time I was grocery shopping at HEB. I went to go grab some energy drinks and there is abraham sitting in a scooter on his phone literally blocking the shelf. I politely said "excuse me sir" (I said it twice). He then gave me a dirty look like I was being an inconvenience to his precious phone call. So I then proceeded to force my way in putting my ass on his scooter basket since he didnt want to get out of the way. He is ome of the rudest people I have ever encountered.

The nicest person i've ever met was Chris. I remember when I met him I was first in line. We just kept talking and talking. Lol I remember my husband was like " you guys forgot there is a whole line waiting" we look up at the long line like oops laughed and said our goodbyes

I went to the museum 8 or 9 years ago, and I crossed paths with the father then and asked a question and he straight ignored me and pushed me away. My kids were so excited to the museum and it was not a good or positive experience. They even took our cell phones and put them.in a box then (idk if they do that now) but they said its cause no pictures were allowed. My first impression of this family was that they are rude!
Watching this makes me skeptical about visiting the museum if I have to deal or put up with her sister or dad’s bad attitude.

The year Selena passed I went to visit their homes and Selena's cemetery. It was nothing like it is now. We actually seen Chris out in the yard. He waved but went in quickly. He was mourning and we didn't even want to yell out or anything. We visited both of her Boutiques and seeing the Series brought back beautiful memories but sad. I bought couple of outfits. One was white mini skirt with double breasted sleeveless blouse. Got so many compliments ugh. Bought another similar outfit, pinstripped in grey. I saved it for years and honestly just got rid of them 3 yrs ago. I regret it now. When we went to Recording Studio/Garage, her big Selena black bus was there, still have all our photos. We briefly seen her dad and of course looked as rude as ever, didn't even say hi. His brother, Eddie walked us in and was so humble and pleasant. NOTHING like his brother, Abraham!! He showed us Recording studio and introduced us to Selena's mom's Sister which was the sewing away. I think he said it was her sister and she sure looked just like Selena's mom. She was very nice as well. She stated she was sewing clothes for Boutiques. We also went to the Days Inn where she got shot and room # had already been removed from door. GREAT memories and can't believe how long it's been!!

I'm so sorry that you didn't have that great of a time there. I've went a few times and have wonderful memories. Back in 2014 I visited Corpus during summer and went to see the museum with my family. As soon as we showed up, a few other family's did as well since it was about 20/30 minutes before they closed. I remember Mr. Quintanilla saying how the whole day no one came till that moment and it made him so happy to see so many people for the tour so he decided to stay and give us a special look up stairs and further in the museum. There's this huge open room in the back with many tables and chairs accompanied by a rather large stage that used to have special private concerts. Upstairs there's a recording studio that has some audio of him and Selena singing when she was young which was so cute! I saw Suzette only that one time and haven't seen her since but I see Mr. Q everytime I visit.

It's so cool that you went to the museum, my dream is to go there, probably I will go this year ... Selena has been a great inspiration in my life .. It makes me very sad to think that her family is so rude, because She was a very humble person and who loved her fans very much, it hurts me to think that her family does not respect what she loved so much and that they continue to live on the image of that beautiful angel ... That was completely rude and unnecessary of Abraham to treat you like that. It sounds like he can really be a crabby old dude. I know he lost his daughter tragically, and it has scarred him for life. But barking orders and being down right mean won't bring Selena back. But, God Bless him. He's miserable.
Call me crazy but i really do believe suzette was jealous of Selena, and perhaps still is. Selena was such a beautiful, talented, and kind girl, and if you see interviews of her all of that shows! She had it all, and it must have killed suzette to see her having it all. It's sad that Selena's family is so unapproachable and bitter. All these years later they are still manipulating narratives and controlling all things Selena.
As fans people honestly need to understand as a fan, the family does not owe you anything. This is their loved one, that was publicly murdered. They are human, they will have good and bad days! I can only imagine how many times they are asked and approached....most of us get irritated at any given time for the little things...it happens! That sucks you had an encounter like that. I live a couple of hours from Corpus so I’ve been several times to the museum and I’ve seen Susie and her dad at least four or five times. Each time I’ve had a good experience and they both have taken pics with me. Her dad has only denied me a photo once. But it was during FDLF and I was towards the end of a huge line in the parking lot at the museum when he pulled up and parked next to where I was standing. When he got out I asked him for a pic and he said no. But he leaned in and said only because if I take one with you everyone in this line is gonna want one and I don’t feel well today. Another time that I went to the museum there was a small crowd and suzette walked in. One person asked for a pic and she said sure. Followed by “Hey guys whoever wants a pic come over here so I can take one with y’all cause I have a lot of work to do” so naturally everyone went. At that time her dad walked in and said “hey guys who wants an extended tour that we normally don’t give?” “Follow me” I looked right at Suzette and said “I really want a pic but I really wanna go with your dad” and she laughed and was like “ no by all means go, it’ll give me a chance to finish what I have to do and when y’all are done just knock on my office door and I’ll come out.” We were like hell yeah. So we went with her dad and had a great time. I had preconceived notions about him because of what you hear and how he is on tv but you have to get to know the person.

The family aren’t part of the museum lmfao.. The musuem is their production building so they’re in there by default. People should learn to leave them alone. Usually they’re the ones who go up to fans if they’re in the mood to talk and take photos with them. Just a tip If you go visit the Museum and the family hasn’t gone up to you at all.. don’t bother them. They aren’t obligated to greet fans and it doesn’t mean they’re ungrateful or greedy for choosing not to.
Of the experiences that I'm hearing about with Abraham it seems like some days it gives him immense comfort to talk about his child and to share his love of his deceased daughter with everyone I mean for him to be showing people around and you know but then other days he's grumpy. I think being around the fans everyday is both good and bad on the good days when he can talk about her and he can revel in her and he can rave about her to people It's great but on the bad days when he just wants to forget that she's no longer with us I think her fans make that hard.

It would've been a huge let down for me being a huge fan of Selena's who traveled over 3 hours to the museum just to have a family member embarrass me like that. .. also the family isnt making money off her.. they were literally part of the success WITH her. She was the face and the voice.. AB wrote and produced.. Suzette was drums and her father was the manager from the beginning. It is all of their success that they have to continually manage otherwise her name could be defamed.. her image used.. songs copied.. and all other kinds of difficulties. Imagine how hard it is for them to relive their pain and having to stay strong. Show some respect and empathy. I think that people who talk negatively about her family aren't real fans.

I live in Corpus Christi I've been to the Selena museum and Suzette was there she was super friendly talked us while we were walking out, and I've seen her out shopping and she was super friendly to people coming up to her.
Her and her mom would come into the restaurant I worked at as a teen all the time and they were always so nice and polite,I never asked to take pictures or anything even though I just wanted to hug her MOM bc she always looked sad!! I grew up in Mexico and Selena was HUGE! she was my idol! Unfortunately she passed before I got a chance to meet her but living in Corpus Christi definitely gives me some type of connection with her ♥️ did you go to her gravesite??
I've been to the museum twice now. The first time was back in 2010 when there was no photography allowed. Suzette's husband gave the tour. Everything went fine. We did ask the gift shop guy about possibly meeting the family. He gave off the vibe that they don't like to be bothered. The second time was in 2013, and to my shock we were allowed to take pictures. This time Suzette's son gave the tour. The same gift shop guy was there. (He probably still is) I again asked about the family and if they were there. He gave me the same answer as last time. We took pics and everything went fine. I didn't get to see Suzette, but I realized years later she was feet away from me. Outside of the museum, walking to the car my mom spotted him. It was the man, the myth, the legend himself Abraham Quintanilla. Now 19 year old me gets this rush of excitement, and me and my 12 year old sister have these big smiles on our faces and start walking to him, saying Mr. Quintanilla, Mr. Quintanilla! Obviously wanting to embrace him, and take a pic with Selena's Earthly creator. He didn't stop walking, however he did say, "Hello how y'all doing," and waved at us. I can't say the man was rude, but it was kind of a bummer. As a die hard Selena fan there's no greater honor than meeting Abraham Quintanilla. He's the one who molded his daughter into the legend she is, and preserved her legacy all these years later. I'll describe the interaction as "clean" but it's not how I imagined meeting him. If I'm lucky to meet another family member, maybe they'll be more warm and embracing.

I didn’t think I’d meet anyone but seeing suzette walk in I was in shock and I didn’t want to pester her for a photo so I took a photo of her and then this misunderstanding went down. I honestly felt it was so neat that she even talked to me at the moment but looking back I thought, she didn’t have to be rude about it. I still would go back and check out the museum again!

I went a little over a month ago and I loved the museum! 🥰 I did see Suzette there and hubby said to go ask for a pic but I didnt. She always seems so serious! They charge $5 now not $3 but still not bad at all! Thanks for sharing your experience! 😁👍
The museum was only created after her passing. But the establishment where it is, that is Q Productions. This is the actual location where Selena made her clothing and AB made the music. It has a second floor that was once to be developed into Selena's dance studio but they transformed it, instead, into a conference room. The first floor is the recording studio and offices. Around the actual offices is where they set up Selena's awards and costumes.
The washing machine scene was done further down the coast, where it corves and it is pretty isolated. Its like 4 blocks down from the statue. The Selena house was 1 of 3 houses in that block. They were all owned by MR Q. The fences went up after she died because, once again, fans were invading their homes. A few years after her death, MR Q moved from those houses. I don't know if he still owns them but renting them out to family or whatever, but they no longer live there. What I do know is that Suzette has all of Selena's bedroom in her home. She has a bedroom set up exactly how Selena had her bedroom. She has Selena's bed and curtains and wardrobe with her make up and perfumes, etc.
Although I understand that you felt insulted by her remarks, you have to understand where she is coming from. There have been people who have taken advantage of the situation. After Q Productions has so many signs telling us about the do's and dont's there are still lots of videos online/youtube about the museum. People are so disrespectful. Look at what they have done to the gravesite, The monument and at the wax museum. At the gravesite they have jumped the gate and taken pictures laying there on the gravestone. Morbid! And at the wax museum, some idiot removed the wax figure's bra/bustier and touched its breasts while taking selfies. At the statue/monument, they plucked the statues eyes out. And they engraved their names on her chest. SMH. I think that a lot of Selena fans make the big mistake of acting like groupies/fangirling when they get there to the museum or at the gravesite. People lose their cool. When Ive gone there I simply look at the Selena stuff which is in the dead center of the rooms. You don't have to look inside the offices or invade their space unless you are wanting to. Ive seen them in there working and they are very busy people. You shouldn't have pointed the phone at her. I think she was more bothered by the fact that she saw you snapping her photo but she used the excuse of the video. But overall, she is in her right. It is her workplace and she is the CEO of the company. So, we have to respect her place. I hope all this helps you understand a bit of their attitude. I hope you don't feel insulted anymore. Just let it go and continue to love Selena. Next time you go, just avoid them. If they come up to you...fine but don't seek them out.

@sookie i get what youre saying, but here is something to think about: I can not say this about suzette as i do not know her but not everyone feels bad about their body when they are bigger and often if you feel that way you dont have a problem celebrating other types of beauties. I know quite a few women like this, myself included

I am sorry that she died. I Live in Texas and heard about her death on the radio. It was tragic. I am also a nurse. Reading these comments about her getting blood or not at the hospital is this is how it works. First, if a patient can't speak, then in an emergency situation it is implied that anything must be done to save a life. That is the protocol. In an ambulance, they don't know what religion a person is and they are not there to decide that. They must do everything to keep someone alive. When a person gets shot in an artery, you will bleed out in less than 2 minutes. Yes, she was more likely dead when they arrived in the ER. I listened to the doctors report and he said she had no blood left in her body when she arrived to the ER. Horrible as this is, they made every attempt to resuscitate her. Secondly, I agree that the Quintanilla's are using Selena's memory to make money, but not in a welcoming way. Chris can't even write a book or make his own version of a documentary because Selena's name is owned I believe by AB Quintanilla. If Mr. Quintanilla was truly a christian man, he would give Chris was is entitled to Chris. The reason he doesn't is because he will lose a lot of money! When she tragically died, she was Selena Perez!!! Legally! What people should do who know stories and who are eyewitness to events of these rude, selfish people should tell their stories. The one thing these people don't want is bad publicity. It was so rude how Suzette did this young woman. I have been in the White House and touched something I shouldn't have and the secret service politely said you can't touch that object. There's class and then theres class.

Awww i met Selenas dad such a nice man and met Suzette she was super nice took me and my friend upstairs to see where Selena recorded her songs and because we came from Australia. Suzette took us out for drinks and dinner. We are still in contact with her and the girls that work at the museum. Sorry you had a bad experience. Promise she is such a lovely person.

We went there back in 2012. We met her dad and sister. They were both very nice. Her dad took us on a private tour and even showed us music Selena Gomez was working on doing a duet with Selena’s songs. He took a picture with us and truly couldn’t have been any nicer. Maybe they were having a bad day.
