Melody, I think it's great you two grew up together and then married! You have a common background having gone all through school. My husband and I were born in different states, many miles away. I was born and raised in Michigan and him in New Jersey. We met and married nearly 23 years ago now in Texas.

Your garden plants are doing way better than mine. It barely rains here in Florida in the spring so nothing grows good. Only like 3 days in April rained. Maybe next year I'll wait till summer when it rains more to start the garden.

Regardless of what color roof you do, you could always install a radiant barrier bubble foil in the attic, but the regular attic insulation will be sufficient anyway. A black roof would look cool, in my opinion.

JudithB The journey is the most fun part of each project and life! I got mosquito net for my hat so I could work outside at this time of year!!! It will be hay cutting season end of May, first part of June for central Arkansas, so this raining part shouldnt last much longer, at least the past 40 years we have been here, but this year is even odder then last!!! LOL!! My main project for this year is fire proofing my land, lot of clean up, mowing and pruning. I worried about it all last summer drought season so doing what I can!! Happy Anniversary!!!!
