Protection is always more expensive than attack because even if 99% your protection works but 1% does not its still a huge harm but on the 95her hand if 9nly 1% of attscks succeedes it might grant you a huge advantage

What Hamas did was wrong. And Israel’s response has been wrong as well .
From what I’m aware of the main issue was Hamas fighters managed to break through the fence and were able to reach civilian areas.
