Your tutorials are absolutely amazing! Instructions very clear, to the point and also you make it easy by giving some extra important instructions if things turn out to be slightly different to yours. Your charts are so so so useful. Your tutorials are the best.
FYI who ever wants to make this with a thicker yarn i used medium 4 rose heart yarn. I made it for 4-6 years. Yarn was thiker there for it measures bigger. So i followed her smallest size 1-2 years just kept measuring making sure the centimeters were the same as her measurements for the 4-6y. It also helps to measure the child.

I received my yarn this morning, i searched for some good and easy crochet project for my daughter (i usually knit, and so far i've only crocheted a beanie 😊 and recently finished a knit pullover for her) found your video and started with the project right away. I love all your patterns for children’s sweaters and cardigans. I’m not sure if you know that the most common yarn weight used in Canada and the US is #4 weight worsted yarn. I know that in the UK the standard is #3 DK weight. I am wondering if you would ever consider designing some items using #4 worsted weight ?

Do i just do a half double crochet in the place where the stitch marker is, do my chains and then join with another half double crochet and continue the pattern or still use a double crochet? If so, how many chains do i skip on my next row to put the v stitches into as it's usually into a bobble stitch? Thank you!

I do sometimes use #4 but I find it difficult to find yarn that I like in that weight

You are most likely adding stitches somewhere and most likely they are at the colour change rows
