Great pattern and tutorial, thank you Simona. I am using different yarn but am using your measurements as a guide to make size 4/5 yrs (using your measurements from your coat tutorial). Problem is that I have reached the correct chest measurement before the yolk measurement is 17cm. Which is more important - yoke length or chest measurement?
@@simonacrochet4149 thanks for the quick reply. I did an extra row so now the chest measurement is 1cm wider than the 64/32 you suggest for age 4/5 and yolk measurement is only 5mm short. But sleeve opening is a few cm bigger than your “upper sleeve” measurement. I guess I am creating problems by mixing and matching patterns 🙄
Is there a eay to make this into a pullover? Would I just do a chain and join? I've tried it so far but the yoke obviously isn't symmetrical as you have 17 along the back and 22 on the front allowing for the buttons. Help! Xx

Dont change anything, just make sure you get to those measurements and perhaps make a hood 2 cm longer than in my chart as your hoodie will be thicker than mine and one more thing... Think about the end of sleeve, I would probably not make those 6 extra rows for the roll back as it will be super big with thicker yarn, just a suggestion

Technically yoke is more important, are you missing a lot?

That is not a problem, you can do decreasing on the sleeves

It might be a little small for the hood, but you can always do increases when starting the hood
