    I really like that softwash remote looks like it does the same as the flow pro for downstreaming

  • @joshuapoche5137
    @joshuapoche5137 Год назад +1

    So is there a benefit to using something like a flow pro and remote over just using a j-rod? It seems nice but a j-rod is so cheap i dont see a benefit

    • @YoungAmbitionYA
      @YoungAmbitionYA  Год назад

      Depends on your Set up. How are you currently pulling SH just using a jrod? Soap tip that pulls soap when the right tip is used and then if you change tips it stops pulling soap?

    Sup bud … love and appreciate your content. Did you not have the Yg1635 blue wash gun yet on this video ? If so why did you not use it ?

    • @YoungAmbitionYA

      I didn't have the igx 800 8gpm yet. The yg1635 needs high flow. 8gpm min. Needs a k1 or k7 unloader too

    • @YoungAmbitionYA
      @YoungAmbitionYA  2 года назад

      Moving to more pressure soon. 12v does Fine. Never had an issue getting debris. Just lower flow

  • @noahkustrin2322

    Before you had the remote bleach, what was your most effective method of switching from bleach to water so you could rinse? Did you walk back to the truck and adjust the proportioner manifold?

    • @YoungAmbitionYA
      @YoungAmbitionYA  2 года назад

      I used 2 hoses. 1 with bleach mix and 1 just water for rinsing. That's the most efficient. I had 1 12v pump hooked to a reel that pulled just water from the tanks and 1 12v pump that pulled a mixture. You could also have 1 12v pump for bleach and carry a garden hose and use the homeowners water to rinse. Otherwise yes, you would have to walk to the truck each time

    Have you ever tried cleaning fiberglass gelcoat boat with SH and what would % you use?
    How about for painted wood or cedar siding ?

    • @YoungAmbitionYA
      @YoungAmbitionYA  2 года назад +1

      Never done a boat. My guess is it would clean like vinyl and you could go light on the sh.. house wash mix or lower. I'd also guess it wouldn't harm it at all, but of course not 100%. I have a hard time believing a polished and finished fiberglass hull would find any issue with light sh. Painted wood as long it's not organic paint and cedar is best to go a little heavier on, just be ready to spend some time thoroughly rinsing the sh from the grain. Don't use any soap

    • @YoungAmbitionYA
      @YoungAmbitionYA  2 года назад +2

      Thanks! It's just a simple hose splitter from the hardware store. Customers water feeds in from the top. 1 valve goes to my pressure washer, 1 to my soap tank, 1 to each 50 gal water tank
