And fun fact - in the 1960s, the communists (PKI) attempted a revolution, but it was quashed by Soeharto with some CIA support. Since then, the failed insurrection has become a talking point for nationalism and anti-communism and the communists are still banned.

As communist Hungary, reform Austria-Hungary with Béla Kun as your leader. You have to go down the communist focus tree,and get Béla Kun before the Soviets purge him. You can't join any factions.

1) Delete 2-3 units (You need by denide by austria)
2) In war with austria dont take Vienna and go for warsuport boosting after some time you can do wareconomy
3) Afrer wareconomi kill austria (Between go for focuses where you prove relation witch czech)
4) Set all unist to tiny. And make 20-40 units after deploy change them to regular
5) Go for protect czech (if you have enough unist they return to the crown)
6) Demant transilvania and go with italy (thets risky but you gen without war get it)
after this you have relative good start and 50-80 factories in 37-38

The reason the UK keeps declaring on Iceland is because of historical AI. Operation Fork happened historically. (I guess if it was really historical Iceland wouldn't fight back and wouldn't join the Axis, but you can thank Paradox for that.)

A personal challenge that i struggled for some time to achieve is:
Play as Romania, stay unaligned. You're not allowed to join any faction (for the entire game) but you can create your own faction with only balkan states. You have to say no when USSR is asking for Basarabia and you have to attack Germany before 1 january 1941 but not before 6th september 1939. In order to win, you need to take europe and puppet USA, Japan and China
And oh, no special troops allowed
I struggled a lot to achieve this and i would like to see what way you find in order to conquer this challenge (without order 66 :D)

However, as the Netherlands are (is?) democratic, they (it?) could theoretically form the EU formable nation while being the leader of the faction of the same name.
As the citizen of Dutch East Indies, I liked this video before I watch it
dutch west indies are located in south America and middle america where the dutch get some of their rare commodities like tobacco, oil or something. and fun fact there are some Javanese people (the middle lower island where your capital is) there because of dutch's immigration's "policy". some of them still speak Javanese till this day.
Man, I got excited for the prospects of war with japan, like how is he going to handle that? By getting naval superiority? Maybe by winning in the air somehow and using paratroopers? Will he fight in China or ignore it completely in order to take out the main island? It will be difficult, sure, but the struggle is going to be entertaining to watch, maybe he'll even try to--- oh, just order 66 them, but of course, why did I even expect anything else.
I love the idea of playing as Indonesia. I've tried it a few times and I'm glad I was able to do the civil war "trick". I also tried attacking China, but that took forever.
Little tip, you dont need to split the army with naval invasions. It is based on the number of units assigned to the order, so one army with multiple orders does the same thing as mulitple armies.
Can you form Micronesia as New Zealand or form the Nordic League as Finland before the war with the Soviet Union ?

There are two Indies: the Dutch West Indies, which are annexed, and the Dutch East Indies, who are independent. The earlier is composed of Curacco and Dutch Aruba, which means the United States annexed them and got tons of rubber off of it.

You dont need lot of generals for fast naval invade planing. Use just one , but send units one by one (set up naval invade for each one of the units). For general with 20 units if you set up 20 naval invades they are ready almost instantly
I got 2 Hoi4 challenges now: #1 play as new Zealand and use only bog semple tanks, conquer whatever you see fit
#2 suggested this in the last hoi4 vid, play as soviet union take over all of Europe and Asia with only infantry. That means no support things exept military police i guess, preferably as big as possible

The UK invaded Iceland to basically get there first, so the Germans couldn't. It was also used for ports and airfields. The USA did occupie Greenland for similar reasons in April 1941.
Actually, the preparation speed of a naval invasion depends on the amount of divisions assigned to one naval invasion plan. So you can basicly keep them in one army, you just have to do a separate plan for every single unit, if you want to be as fast as possible. This way with landing craft 2 you can land 48 divisions somewhere and only need 7 days of planning.
Well, Tau still assumes that the naval invasions hasn't been reworked. This is an addition from Patch 1.6

As New Zealand, make a fleet larger than the British navy (it has to be up to date and not be a mainly destroyer/submarine navy)
you have to give Paradox props for actually making the game realistic by buffing China and the Soviets so every single player game isn't an Axis steamroll.
Taureor, You don't need assign each unit individually to speed up invasion plan, you can do it on one army. so you can work with fewer generals
I honestly don't know why Indonesian took 3 and a half century to kick the Dutch while Taureor took like 6 months

The one thing I hate about the new update is that Vichy France is not a German puppet, and if any British troops are in that territory when France capitulates, then those troops stay there for the whole game. They do suffer attrition, but they live for a long time when they are not being attacked. Ohh, and you can’t use German troops to remove them from that Territory, cause Vichy is not your puppet. I think they did that so the allies have to invade the north of France, but who knows.
Hey Tauror, I do not know if you read all of your comments, but I noticed a mistake you made. You might have said it on accident, or you might not know it. Army size does NOT matter when preparing invasions. Instead, what matters is the amount of units on a singular order. The best way to make naval invasion plans without having to break up your armies is by simply selecting one division at a time and doing the order, even if they are in the same army. This way they will all be ready in 7 days (with basic transport technology).
Well yes, but you can still only do one per port, so it's 3 units regardless of how many armies they are in. I find it easier to manage if they are in separate armies. You are correct though
@@Taureor Nope. It works from the same port. Now I do not know if this is a bug or an intended feature, but you have to make sure you click the land itself, because clicking too close to a pre-existing naval invasion arrow will just edit the one that already exists. Yeah, now it comes down to personal preference, but I thought to spread the knowledge, maybe someone will find it useful.
PS: Are videos on the new achievements coming? There are some incredibly difficult ones out there, such as 'Don't Die for Your Country' or 'Go Ahead, Macau my Day' (I find the latter one the trickiest, the former is quite doable).

Naval invasion planning time is based on the people in the invasion not the army size like a assign to per tile normal and keep them in the same army and with only the tech to unlock the invasion it takes 14 days so you could still get the general buffs
You cant do Order 66 anymore,if you try to do it in any way you can think of,it just teleports those troops to your capital

You don´t need to ask for docking rights and military access, if you only ask for military access you automatically get docking rights.
