Grew up with real till I was 8. Then we had a fake one. My kids are 7. We stopped getting real trees. We got tired of the sap leaking and keeping it watered. We go on vacation every December also. It leaves a mess. No more lol
We've had a fresh tree for 40yrs..gave this fake one two years..it will be going up for resale next Christmas. Always find myself side-eying it..or thinking i have to water it. Old habits die hard.
Honestly real trees are easier for my family. We have a fake tree outdoors and a real tree indoors. Our real tree we get and walk it home. When we setup our fake tree, we take it, sort out the branches and its a lot harder
Every year i go for a traditional Victorian tree. Where i have a real Christmas tree, and i put REAL candles on the branches like they used to.. It generally goes up around the 25th, and we have to call out the fire department to put it out.
@@gemarnold1025 the real trees are healthier for the environment once you throw them out, smell better(that’s not a joke), and all around give out a more Christmasy feeling. Contradicting what most people say, I have never had problems with real trees. Watering them isn’t much of a trouble and I have had no sap or bug problems. I do believe that they are less expensive and there is more of a variety that you can choose from. If you have pets real trees are more stable so it is harder to knock over. I will say that they require a stand thing to put the water in and have them sit up right but there are generally more pros than cons. This is of course my opinion and if you believe that fake trees are better, than I respect your opinion.
Real. Nothing beats going out with my family to cut down a tree together. Plus, the smell of pine that fills the room is part of the "festiveness" of the holiday. Fake trees take all the family time and fun of getting and having a real tree. That stuff may not matter to others, but to me it is a very important part of christmas.
I’m fine with my artificial one but my mom wants a real one lol also for me and my tradition in like to have a white artificial tree sometimes to change it up
I’ve never used a fake tree, never will. Its how I was raised. The smell and look can’t be matched.
My family and I have been using the same artificial Christmas tree for over 20 years
If we cut the tree replant at the same place no problem celebrating Christmas in real tree is a joy something natural❤️🥰
Great info! Never used a real tree, I want to do so one Christmas though just for the sake of the experience.

Are used to have an artificial Christmas tree but I threw it away and replaced it with a real one
You should’ve sold it lol
It's not really good to throw a fake tree that's not good for the environment
@@Denva_cool i recommended selling because people buy stuff all the time lol
We’re getting a real Christmas tree today and it’s going to be a 7 foot for $29
But we do live in Pennsylvania lol
Me and my family stopped using fake trees we now use real trees cuz they're better and cooler🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄
What the difference ?
They are 100% better

Switched to real trees last year. I won’t be switching back :)
I hate artificial Christmas trees I love real Christmas trees
Artificial is better
Fake trees look so basic. There’s a local tree farm 6 minutes away from my house. So it really doesn’t have a terrible impact on the environment
Here's a novel idea: NO TREE. ~~~WHY~~~ do people waste money and time on this stuff?
great segment

Actually we have our tree 🌲 so we decorate that at it place we not harm the tree
Real all the way
Greedy Christmas tree farmers have made my next year choice easy.

Thank God I live in NC lol
