I think those five dollar trees are perfect for nursing home bedrooms for residents whom love Christmas trees. They can be decorated with ornaments from dollar tree as well. Each tree could cost about twenty dollars with ornaments but worth it as a volunteer craft project for five or more trees in certain rooms that love trees that much. The dollar trees are nice for those who want a smaller tree in their room or if its a budget problem solved if there are more residents who love Christmas trees. Kindest Regards, Aiden Alamo

They are. I work at a nursing home. Our owners wife did 5 HUGE trees in the facility, all magazine worthy and each unique. Some residents have the mini trees for their rooms and some have the 4 ft ones. Some add a beautiful wreath to their door. I love seeing all the decorations.
Green zip ties also work great to bind the two trees together.

Several days later: I’ve been to the Dollar Tree and purchased 3 small trees and 2 large trees plus a cart full of ribbon, picks and ornaments. I may go back and get 2 more large trees so I can do a fuller one like you did for my front porch. I also plan to make a door swag and a double sided mailbox swag with the small trees and a mantle “garland” with the 2 large. Thanks for these cost saving tips. I’ll probably do something a little different next year, but will add a little each year because I can’t afford all new decorations every year.
Also walmart is great for Christmas stuff. I got a 4ft really pretty cashmere style fake tree that's pre-lit for only $25. And they have cheap mini tree ornaments and decor. Love these diys though! Didn't know dollar tree had fake trees!

Unfortunately we don't have a DT here with items over 1.25$ but you have inspired me to try so many of your crafts with the 1.25$ items that I have made my own crafting area and have a closet FULL of items to use. Absolutely loved the gnomes with the mini trees and Santa hats so I made a few for family and they love them too! Am so glad I came across your channel

I LOVE the swag idea!! I was planning on purchasing pre-lit swags, but it was more than $60 for a pair! I already have ribbon and lots of fairy lights, so hopefully my local dollar tree will be stocked with these mini Christmas trees! The DIYs look stunning and expensive 😍

@Mona There's (3) of us girls & get together once a week. We went online, bought a bulk & split the cost. Yet; I was amazed on the prices for ribbons, ornaments, etc

I can't seem to locate a dollar tree plus store near me, and when I go on the dollar tree website, it doesn't separate dollar tree plus from regular, even though I ask for plus locations
That’s true but I did notice recently that on the website they have some dollar plus items finally. Just waiting for an amazing dollar tree plus store to come by me also!
Most have a sign on the window that there is a plus inside. Not sure there is a locator. I have heard all are turning to plus stores eventually so fingers crossed you find one soon ❤️
I have the same problem. The nearest Dollar Tree Plus is 4 hours away from me
@lorettauppercue I don't have a dollar tree plus either but instead go to family dollar as they are owned by dollar tree and you can find alot of the plus items there. Hope that helps!

I purchased one of those $5 trees last year at Dollar Tree. Not bad for the price. They came in a canvas storage bag last year vs. the cardboard box this year.

I have the miniature tree & ornaments from dollar tree - feels special as it’s my first own Christmas tree
The original Grinch cartoon is the only Grinch movie to watch! I’m with you Shannon. I have a stuffed Grinch on my bed and got a little Grinch throw for my bed and it came with a matching “Santa” hat but with my man the Grinch all over it. I was going to get a phone case but can’t bring myself to pay $25 so will get some fabric and make my own. Also have a watch band on the way for my Apple Watch!! WooHoo!! Grinch all the way !!

I was just at my DT and couldn't find the big trees ☹️ but I love what you did with them. I decorate more whimsical, so I'm loving the grinch! Could you do another grinch video?? Either here or on the cozy Christmas cottage? I'm decorating my mom's apt door for her and need some more easy ideas. We don't have a big space, but I want to deck it out. Bc they have a contest every year and I want her to win! But I also plan to help her in her apt too but on a budget. I do have a cricut so even cricut ideas would be amazing.
