      @@seeitpickitbinit2510 Dark don't mean they are older 🙂 Try catch some perch in the sea then in a lake and you will see a big difference in color, where I live all lake perch have a very dark color, and the ones catched in the ocean is more silverish. Also the fins differ in color alot depending if they eat crawlers or not 🙂 Pm me and I can give you my fishbrain nickname and you can see the difference👍

    From what I’ve seen whilst watching Perch, there are two types of takes. The surprise instinctive take and the considered intentional take. I think 99% of lures only catch fish via the instinctive takes, which must be triggered in a second or so, where they make a quick decision. Only live and dead baits, very aggressive/unobservant fish or specific lures which have a very specific naturalistic “flutter” effect, like The Banjo lure, can be effective for the second, considered take. When they have time to observe the bait, in my experience, only very careless fish will take a lure when it is clearly visible. I’ve been trying to create a home made lure which has the flutter throughout its entire body, like a dead fish or Banjo lure. Great video. What camera do you use?😁💪😛♥️

    • @bololollek9245
      @bololollek9245 11 месяцев назад

      Yeah even green or "invisible" fishing lines are most often noticed by the fish. The same goes for the hook actually. But the fish does not know what the hook is or what it can do, so they really just do not care. Of course, if you only present a hook there is no reason to bite, or if the hook distorts the bait too much, the bait will not be appealing

    What are you fishing in an aquarium? lol I would like to make a suggestion. In this type of underwater shot (jigging), try to use a smaller jigging bait. Like they use for ice fishing. A smaller profile jig that gives more natural movement. Your strikes will more then triple.

      Actually not really, Perch love action. The problem is he is just jerking it up and down. Perch are chasers, they love the hunt and are stimulated by a somewhat fast horizontal moving bait. Atleast that is my experience and had most success with. Just yesterday i cought a nice 42 cm/16.5 inch one.
