I don't understand why Casio can't release a G-Squad without the heart rate monitor and other smartwatch garbage. Just a GW-5000 with a MIP display. I think it would sell incredibly well!
I would love one too. I have the DW-5600 and the 'paw print' on the back making it uncomfortable and pushes the watch off the wrist so much that it looks bad IMO.
And if they want one option, then please only the stepcounter without the bump for the heart rate monitor. And definitely not a complicated, slow(er) menu. So no bump and no slower menu.

The GD-010 is nice and from what I can see they use an STN display which are quite good. I have a PRW-3100 with an STN display and it is nice. Not as sharp as my MIP display on my GBD-200 but still better than the standard LCD displays.
Has Casio abandoned the 2100 series? I want to upgrade my GA-2100AJF to a B2100 but don't like any of the 5 availabe B2100 colorways. Why so few choices?
It’s never gonna happen, the dw5600 is g shock’s baby… they kept the same dimensions for 40 years and they’re never gonna change, since it has a legacy. The closest you can really get to a bigger dw5600 is the gx56, maybe that one might work for you
They several variations of the 5600 series, they look the same, but not the size. Some are slightly big, some slightly small. I'd recommend the dw-h5600. Not too big or too small but still packed tons of functions.

Year by year watches are getting UGLIER and worse. Casio should refresh the excellent G-2900 and G-100 models with better parameters ! (more memory, 4 signs of dot matrix instead 3, metal buttons. Seconds hand , glowing well in dark all indexes (g-100), timer, 5 alarms instead 1, positive lcd dispaly, better looking font.
Movement upgrade? No way. I don't see this happening often. Casio seems to focus more on same movement but in different hardware this year. Great idea though, something close to that would be the awg-m100 I think. But still not entirely the same as you suggested they make.

First time hearing a square G is too small. It's perfect on my 7.7 inch wrist. I even sport F-91W. Don't listen others and wear what you want.
