18 Minute Full Body Warm-Up Routine

- Here is my personal warm-up routine that I perform prior to my mobility and strength training. This routine can be done at home, in the forest or in your office bathroom :P
This warm-up routine can be performed solely on its own, just simply to get your body moving. Especially if you sit in a chair all day! Remember, that if you don't use your full range of motion, you will lose the ability to do so. So get moving so we can improve each day, instead of getting worse.
If you are a beginner, then I recommend having something to stabilize you during this routine, such as a dowel, stick, wall, chair or broom. Some yoga blocks may come in handy as well!

Thank you! My body feels great. I’ve been wanting to work on sitting down and getting up from a Cossack squat and have been flailing around using my arms and not progressing. Thanks for the suggestion to sit on a block. Like duh why didn’t I think of that but I didn’t!

@ Honestly, after almost two years of following Summer, the two things that have helped me the most with my shoulder injury were her tips on getting mobility in your shoulders by just daily intentional movement for those joints, and secondly, overall strengthening the shoulders by actually working them TONS! Handstands, dips, pull-ups, push-ups…every day. I think I originally hurt it by having weak shoulders. So sad to say I don’t really have one video of hers to point you to, but I will say my favorites that I’ve used over and over for explanation and mobility are her videos titled:

Nice warm up, really got the hips mobile! Could you do a video just like this but a bit slower and explain exactly what your doing in each movement to follow along more easily?
glad to hear that! Unfortunately, the instructional videos don't seem to reach that many people. You could try my backbend video or my middle split workout. Both of those will have greater instruction :)

To you it's just a warmup, to me it's a workout, I did it and I'm sweating like I sprinted 😄

as of right now my goal is to just get through all of that a lot more fluidly😂
