I feel like this is a hasty generalization of the argument against the Naboo raid. Arguing that the failure of small guilds to perform in the Naboo raid as a symptom of bad guild synergy is harmful because it deflects the fundamental problem that half of the required character needed are not easily accessible and the second half were revealed mere weeks before the raid started and after a LSB dropped for them. This video of finding better guilds is a valid conversation made at a poor time. Many guilds such as mine who do well in ROTE and previous raids are being stifled in the current raid not because we suddenly slacked off but because the barrier to entry is so much higher. Bonuses to squads are restricted to relic gates. The lower tiers are not any less difficult than the relic tiers, just with a different point cap. Being complacent with this creates mixed signals of whether CG really cares about “the new player experience” when the raids only favor those who aim at the tip of the iceberg and no one else.

This is a good point. I was only a very early game Player when they announced the last raid. I had months to farm all the characters and get most of them to at least g12. With this raid we had like two weeks? I still can't farm quigon even though I'm close to unlocking Amidala? It's ridiculously nonplayer friendly.

Same, it's just insanely steep for earlier players to invest in these teams. Like is perfectly doable but you need like everyone to stop drop and farm gungans.

@mryellow6918 the highest gp in my guild is less than 6 million, we haven't prepared much at all. As a guild we have three GLs between us (and i have one of them, so thats cool)
But yeah, we're a fairly small guild and this kinda messed us up

@@Evren_ Do not feel too bad. I am in a larger guild (260M GP) but as a new player friendly, about 1/3 of our members cannot even score a single point. How excited are they going to be to detour from pursuing critical unlocks, farming decent ships (which take forever), and so on just to contribute to the raid?
We are getting mk 3, but about 25% what we got from Endor--and a big chunk of the guild are not really able to contribute much at all.

You're totally missing the point Phatphil.
This raid requires gated or bad characters to a much higher degree than previously. And the first tiers are way too difficult to even get a single point than previously. And we were given much less time to prepare. Yes, how well the guild "works" impacts this, but with the same level of "working" smaller guilds with newer players were able to get something from the raid. Now many guilds that previously were able to get well into the crates don't even get the first crate.
This is simply CG raising the bar on effort and PAYMENT they require from the players to enjoy the game.
You should seriously rethink your position of basically blaming the players.

  • @RainbowSkillz

My guild is only getting first crate. We nearly have second crate. Not a new or low guild, though. Just don’t have the shiny new characters and the Jedi required are ass.

We’re doing the same when we did dragon raid all gulfs need to look how they did in that raid to compare than the Endor raid

  • @wdremington
    @wdremington 3 месяца назад +1

The problem with the raid is that the characters you can use are either very hard to get or they are trash--very few are both a) good and b) already geared up on a typical mid- to advanced roster (say 4M-8Mish). Most of them aren't even unlock requirements either. Just super bad all around in my opinion. Which is sad because they did a good job on the look/feel and the creativity of the raid in terms of adding new mechanics, etc. Just poor awareness of where their players are.

My big guild is running into trouble because of the victory glitch. We've got people giving up on doing the raid because even with r9 Gungans the raid just randomly ends.

They adjusted the endor rewards for this very reason. They need to do the same for naboo. Yes little guilds should get less rewards than bigger ones. But no rewards is ridiculous . The whole reward track needs adjusting. It’s been done before pit can be done again,

i started to play this game 2 years ago, the gap was huge looking at k1 players, every time i hit a milestone like sim Rebel Roundup i do not close that gap but this gap will not increase
thats not true with the new raid system, the gap keeps widening, i went from 4000 to 1500 mk3 and that is rly bad because the new raid is over the top p2w and yes, it does crushes smalls guilds
btw the bugs in this raid... trash

I think you hit the nail on the head when you commented on the “Competitiveness” of the players and the guild. In our guild we’re very upfront, you have to participate to the best of your ability and there are no other requirements. We don’t tell people what to farm, we don’t want a second job with officers telling us what to do (and I’m an officer). But, you better deploy your GP in RofE, sign up for TWs, and try 5 times in the raid. Occasionally we have to boot someone, but the core of our guild has been together for 5+ years now. We would get better rewards with mandates, but because we are all on the same page of “Competitiveness” a thing like a change in a raid isn’t going to break us, we’re just having fun playing a Star Wars game. As a “reformed competitive guy”, glad it just wasn’t me and my brother who got into fights over boar games. 😂😂😂

I played at my last guild for about 1 year. I got along well with people and was made a captain because I was doing a lot of recruitment and being a very active member (both socially and playing) I grew a lot while I was there and was really out growing the place because i put more effort into participation. The raid change was a perfect time to move on to bigger and better things. I get better rewards but I miss my buddies back at my old home.

It’s not a crime to point finger at CG for completely botching this raid experience. Maybe youre point is for very small amount of guild but majority feel the same way. CG has no idea what they are doing.
