Run Like Hell is usually the last song of the show so the stage and lighting guys go all out and make it look like a Grand Finale.
Pink Floyd and David Gilmour are unrepeatable, amazing reaction as always.
2 facts about this song. 1. The reason they were wearing sunglasses was because the laser lights were so bright that it could have damaged their eyes. 2. This was sadly the last time, and final song, that David Gilmour played in front of a live audience. (And he knew it). He has since released several recorded videos in the 2020's, he stated in 2023 that he was officially retiring. Personally, I think we'll see him again, after all he loves music so much, I don't think this will be the last we see of him.
Where did you see this about him retiring? I had read on a couple sites he was looking at recording a new album. Unless he had changed gears and decided to retire?

I am so happy you both like Pink Floyd and celebrate them as I do. Maybe you want to dig into „new“ songs from them. There are still so many songs to choose from. Interstellar overdrive for example from their first album „piper at the gates of dawn“ which was recorded in the abbey road studios in the same time when the beatles recorded their sergeant peppers. I talk too much. Just find your Pink Floyd way 🙂
