I love Revelation. It makes me excited everytime I read it. Having grown up Christian I had not ever read through the whole bible. Now I am finish it for the 3rd time🤯It is wild to me how so m ny churches kind of avoid Revelation. I am so grateful God drew me into the word a few years back. I am so hungry for the word and what it reveals to me I plan to read it again in 2024. New things are revealed everytime. It is so worth it! If you struggled through your 1st time, do it again! It gets easier the more you read it and you won't want to stop! Praise be to God. Thank you Jesus!

Amen and well said! My church doesn't read Revelation. My friend who's a Christian said to me "isn't Revelation scary?" I said no! Not at all!

Whew. Only a few days left in this year, and we have made it to the book of Revelation. I pray that those who say that they are part of the church of God are not lukewarm like the church ina Laodicea. Father God, help Your people to endure like the church in Smyrna and to remain faithful like the church in Philadelphia. If we endure well, we will receive a crown in glory that lasts forever, being in the presence of God and our Eternal King Christ Jesus!
Praise God that we do not walk alone through this life. We have the King of Glory with us, so we don't have to fear. Praise His holy name!

The symbolism in this book can be very challenging. There are a lot of opinions about what it means. We can know this: Jesus will return as the conquering King that He is. To those who know Him as Savior it will be a great day. He is the beginning and the end of everything.

Saviour is the first and the last. The precepts of men can cause confusion. Draw your heart to the Lord and learn from him.

This Recap helped me understand the basic takeaway for Revelation: it’s not a secret code to the future, but an assurance that we will conquer through suffering faithfully. And we are promised many things-and I have to point out my favorite: Rev 2:17, the white stone given by Jesus to each of us with our name, a name that only we and He can read. At last, He will name and reveal our true selves, who we have always been. I know that our loved ones have received their white stones and are at last at home in the presence of the Savior who knows and names them.

If the Lord declares this generation shall not pass, and Isaiah wrote, "who shall declare his generation?"
How can you claim you know who has received what? They are in hell and that's exactly where we go when we die.

My husband has committed to do BibleRecap with me next year. We have joined the tier to receive the podcasts and a study guide. I am so excited to go on this journey with him. I learned so much this year and I know God will reveal Himself even more next year. I cannot wait to see the impact on our marriage as well! Thank you Tera Leigh for your faithfulness!

“We walk through this book with The King of Glory by our side…” thank you Tara Leigh for all the recaps! While I’m getting ready to finish my first year (it’s been amazing!) I can’t wait to start my second year knowing that our Lord has so much more to show me!!! Blessings to all!!

If you believe that then why not read for yourself? Even Paul shares his rejection for a woman to preach and yet a mass of you collect yourselves to watch one speak.

So exciting to be in Revelation- the last book of the Bible!
One thing that stood out to me was all that He gives to those who are victorious in chapters 2 & 3. The last one is in 3:12- He will give us the right to sit with Him on His throne!
I also love 3:7-8, "What he opens no one can shut and what he shuts no one can open"..."I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut." I recently saw a picture of this and vision of me standing at a door with Jesus showing me the treasure He has for me inside the door. I pray for the faith to walk through the door and receive what He has for me. 🙏🏽

So excited to make it to the end Bible and to the end of our journey together. I have learned so much about me and God's relationship. I still freak out that he cares such about me. He has so , so much going on, and yet he thinks I am important! I have learned so many wonderful things that God has done. I am so thankful I signed up for The Bible Recap. Thank you all for doing this wonderful journey! ) only 3 days left, whoop-whoop)

Thanks for keeping this overview high-level, and middle-of-the-road. This is my first read-through, and it is helpful to be able to form my own thoughts as to what I see and read.

I treasure the Words in this book. “Then one of the elders said to me, ‘Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.’”
All praise to the Lord Jesus!

I've been looking forward to reading Revelation with TLC because what little I've read in the past I've found hard to understand. I'm kind of sad that our year long journey is coming to an end. I plan to start over again in 2024 and hope that others will too as I have enjoyed reading your comments and found them helpful.

This will be my 3rd time reading revelation. Boy, did I hear some new things that I never understood before. HalleluYAH for giving me ears to hear what you needed me to hear this time around. 🤍
    My Yah shot for 2023,
    Revelation 1:14-15 & 2:18

The 24 elders are representatives of the church. This scene in Revelation 4 takes place after the Rapture and before the start of the tribulation.

Satan is the slain lamb with seven eyes who can open the scroll because he’s the AntiChrist, the return of a messiah, God himself as a human man but with the Holy Spirit as women.
God tells Jesus to pass the title of God to the angel of Philadelphia in the letter; which would be relevant in the future because it opens and closes many doors for being faithful.
