No more sorrow, no more pain, no more suffering, no more tears. Heaven will be a glorious place.
What if I had a heart and mind that longed for Jesus’ return, instead of fearing the tyranny and pain of the end times? I’m reading “Revelation for the Rest of Us,” as it interprets Revelation as its original readers understood it, not as a secret code unlocking times and nations and events. The blast of the 7th trumpet that sounds Handel’s “Messiah”’s proclamation (“The kingdom of this world has become the kingdom of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever”) is a clarion call to fearlessness and rejoicing! God may not spare us from pain, but He will bring us to everlasting joy!
Good analogy on comparing the coming of Christ to preparing for birth of a child, I was more focused on anticipation than fear. Maranatha come lord Jesus!
Yes! Maranatha 🙌🏼
Thx for this analogy. It helps me look forward instead of fear! Come Lord Jesus come!
God is so patient, He’s giving people so many chances to come to Him .
Amen Amen 🙏 Thank you Lord ❤
"The kingdom of GOD is for people who love GOD." Amen. Great recap, TLC.
A lot has happened, a lot is happening, and a lot will happen. God’s Will, Word, and desire will be accomplished just as it is written. The main thing is have I repented and believed in Jesus.
Thank you TLC, the last 363 days have been incredible.
For me too!!! So grateful for this journey!
Praise God as we travel through the Last book of the Bible blessings Bible family ❤❤ He is where the Joy is ❤️
What is described in these chapters is absolutely horrifying! It amazes me that whenever these things take place, there will still be people who don't repent (9: 20-21). My God shot is in 7: 17, and the comfort of knowing that God will wipe every tear. That reminds me that this current state of the world is temporary. Come, Lord Jesus!
Praises be the name of the Lord! Jesus will reign forever and ever! Amen!
Amen and yes Come Lord Jesus!
Thank you so much Tara-Leigh Cobble for taking time to teach about the Bible to deepen our relationship with God. God bless you abundantly to know and do His will.
Rev 10:7, ..."the mystery of God will be accomplished, just as He announced to his servants the prophets." What God says will happen does and will. I look forward to the fulfillment of Revelation 10:13, "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Messiah, and he will reign forever and ever. "
FYI: Around 3 min 40 seconds TLC uses Jesus' name rather than John (eating the scroll).
God protects His people in trials and tribulations, to the end, He is always with us.
”They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any green plant or any tree, but ONLY those people who DO NOT have the SEAL of GOD 🎉on their foreheads.“
Revelation 9:4 ESV
Powerful TLC!! Thank you for allowing The Lord to use you!
I am so thankful for the recap!
Yes, I love God; He is where the Joy is. Amen
Yes, let my desire to know more be in preparation and the expectation of Christ's return! Amen
Thank you
Had to search for this 1. It didn't come up in my feed this morning!
Me too
So well said, Tara Leigh🙏
Amen TLC! Fod comtinue to bless you and your team and your ministries!!!!!!
Thank you so so much for what you shared about fear and longing for Jesus. God really spoke to me through that. I read revelation and I'm scared and so sad for people I don't even know who will not accept Jesus. It breaks my heart and terrifies me simultaneously. The way you spoke about it is just really helpful, thank you ♥
This is excellent! Thank you for this. It is really helpful!!❤
In listening Tara states that God tells Jesus to eat the scroll. Isn't it John who is supposed to eat the scroll and prophesize???? Can some one explain? Commentaries state it was John
I think it was just a mistake, because she went on to talk about John.
just a slip of the tongue, it is John that must eat the scroll.
It says John in the Bible recap printed guide.
Thank you Good to know the Holy Spirit is giving me discernment 😊
Jesus eats the little scroll? I thought it was John. Please explain.
Ref article by Gospel Coalition: Kevin Deyoung- do not agree with his commentary about the identity of the 144000. I'm surprised (and disappointed) this article was even included for additional information or clarification.
Well, I can't say I'm disappointed or even surprised. After all, TLC tries to stay neutral, especially with prophecy, and a lot of Christians hang out in the metaphorical camp. But I'm with ya - that Gospel Coalition article gets a no from me, dawg! 😂
By sending people to such sources like the Gospel Coalition, the Bible Recap shows it is definitely not staying middle of the road.
@@jennygilmore121 Agreed. In hindsight, "tries to stay neutral" is not accurate. It's really more like, "tries to appear neutral while gently promoting Reformed theology." Over half the resources TBR recommends in their Daily Questions Study Guide I recognize as Reformed. But ain't religious freedom grand? I do mean that sincerely! We are so blessed to be able to openly wear whatever faith stripe we wish without fear of being burned at the stake. Of course, Calvinists don't have any free free will, but that's another story... 😉
Did God tell John or Jesus to eat the small scroll? I thought he told John but TLC said told Jesus to eat it. Maybe a correction? Thanks!!
I’m confused about the 144,000.
