It's interesting how fictional universes and story lines like Star Wars and Harry Potter can vividly capture the hearts and minds of millions, while the same millions may forget that our very lives are part of the realest, grandest, most epic saga inclusive of all humanity from beginning till end!
I started drinking when I was 16. I would drink at parties, but I also started drinking alone because I was unhappy, and I was in a lot of emotional pain all the time. My mom was very aggressive when I was younger, and my brother hated her and so did I. He started hanging out with shady people, he started failing all his classes, he was never home, and my parents fought all the time. I also ran away several times. I was always trying to figure out a reason as to why I was here or what the purpose of life was. So, I started looking at different philosophies, religions, and beliefs. When I was 18 after I was hungover, I got on my knees and I prayed for the first time. I asked if God was real that he would show me he was real because I couldn’t take it anymore. I was crying when I prayed for this. At that moment I felt a presence come over me like a wind. It was barely noticeable, but it was unlike anything in my life I had experienced up until that point. I was surprised when I felt it and I remember saying “what was that?” after that experience I pretty much forgot what happened and kept partying, until my senior year when I got arrested. After my arrest, my parents lost all their trust in me and I was expelled from high school. I was told never to come back. At that time, I felt afraid and hopeless. That’s when I started looking for God, and I prayed that he would reveal himself in my life and that he would give me signs. My prayers began getting answered so consistently that I couldn’t deny that God was doing something. It was mysterious and compelling. I ended up in Church and started reading the bible hours a day. I stopped hanging out with all my other friends because they were continually getting arrested. I was able to forgive my family and myself and to ask to be forgiven. I noticed how at Church people were judgmental and how they formed cliques but were afraid to be around anyone else different from them. It increased my faith because I realized Jesus was not like that and ever since I was young, I saw people as people regardless of who they were. After a while, it’s like I could see God's presence was in my life and then it felt like he wasn’t, and then he was, and then he wasn’t. One day I woke up and felt more depressed than I ever have in my entire life. I felt like I was dying on the inside. That night I prayed, and I said, God, I don’t see my life five years from now I'm going to die Jesus save me Lord, please save me. I was weeping when I said it and when I asked him to save me, I felt a presence inside of me like a heartbeat, and I felt it once like a pulse, and I said Lord please save me and I felt it again even stronger. It was like radiance. When I woke up the next morning, I had transformed everything felt brand new like I was a kid again. All my fears and all my racing thoughts everything was gone. I looked at my hands, and I said this can’t be real it’s impossible. When I looked at myself in the mirror, I saw a different person. I started praying, and the holy spirit became entirely real to me it was washing over me and inside of me. It was total love and peace, and I heard a voice but not an audible one, it was an inner voice. It said I am with you; I love you, I will never leave you, it’s done it’s finished. That was May 3rd, 2009, and ever since then I’ve followed God, I have seen many things change and many things I know wouldn’t have changed without faith and belief. I know what it’s like to be lost to feel you have no hope. Don’t ever think you’re stuck, or life can’t change because it can. My mom is a Christian now, Its night and day. Some of the things that went away during that period were severe anxiety and my addiction to alcohol. I’ve seen and experienced so many things that are miraculous and seen how God has worked in my life. When we ask God to forgive us for what we’ve done and turn away from our sins and wrongdoings and we believe in Christ's sacrifice everything changes. His word says if we confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that he died and rose again we will have eternal life but not just life after death but abundant life in the present. Our sins are erased not only past, present, and future but our burdens and fears are lifted also. Our thoughts, our minds, our hearts, our souls are transformed and united with God and we know his spirit lives in us. If you seek, pray, and knock you will know JESUS IS KING!!! HE LIVES!

Did you know that Jesus real name is yashua. When you call him Jesus your actually saying hail Zeus it's just another way they try to trick us and steer us away from the truth.

Be carefulr reading books in order they r n the bible...the epistles come AFTER jesus death. And the gospels are during jesus life. Each section have a message for THAT time. Everything in the bible is written FOR US but not necessarily TO US. ( adam to soloman ) are to the jews remember....we r gentiles.
If you decide to begin again I found the Immerse Reading system very helpful. Maybe I dare say revolutionary. I've struggled through the years with Genesis - Revelation systems. Hard to remember themes, story line etc. They suggest beginning with New ( 2nd ) Testament. Begins with Luke and groups the books in a different order. Tyndale Publishers. Presume these guys here know them.
I remember reading the book of revelation when I was a teenager, and when I finished reading it I was both terrified and extremely confused (hahaha). Ive been really excited for the bible project to put out the book of Revelation videos. They made it so easy to understand and provided perspective, I feel I'll be able to go back and read the book again with better direction. God bless the bible project!!
Still you read it for yourself. A perfect god writes a bible thats not easily comprehensible? Always looking for more interpretations. Thats not a good book if we get diffrent meanings from it. Either somenpeople are stupid and put their own meaning or some ober think it and make it all complex when it isnt.

The ending was a huge comfort. I've been wrapped up in Bible Studies trying to figure out when the end will come. But that is not the purpose of Revelation. I just want to know God, obey Him, love others, share the gospel, confess sin, and be ready to meet Him. Thank you for making this video.❤

I just finished revelation today and I’m absolutely moved by the word of God. Jesus Christ truly did die on the cross only to be resurrected and allow many people to witness so they may go on to spread His teachings and since He confirmed the scriptures, we can safely believe John’s visions in Revelation. Jesus Christ is King of Kings and Lord of Lords and all glory is His. He is all that was, is, and will be. I fear judgement because I am a sinner but by the grace of God, I ask in Jesus’ name that the Holy Spirit guides me and gives me patience, wisdom, strength, love, and loyalty to God by following His commandments. I invite everyone else who chooses to unite with our Heavenly Father to do the same. In Jesus name Amen.
Faith ALONE in Jesus Christ ALONE is the ONLY way to reach True Salvation. That is The Good News. That is The True Gospel of Jesus Christ. Never confuse Salvation as a Faith + Works/Following of the "Law' doctrine. That is a doctrine of Satan. Faith alone is the ONLY way. He already paid for our sins, defeated sin and death... @@NaturalBornKelli That does not mean one should be a slave to sin though. We are human and we will sin but one should not love to sin. Trying to overcome the sin is part of the point I think. I've heard that the devil tries to use our sins to toy with our heads to convince us we are beyond salvation and give up trying to resist.

You know I've heard hundreds of hours of Sunday preachers and even without the visual aid I've never heard so poignant and concise a discussion of Revelation.
If there is something here is the exact opposite. A disrespect for the symbols, that were already translated, taking everything as a pure metaphor. Revelation has been wrongly interpreted in here

@@korn5308 for sure, since I finished the bible I've been asking the Holy Spirit what to read in it and I've been lead all across, from reading chapters to entire books. Sometimes I feel like I am on a goose chase but sometimes its just mind blowing and comes in handy for the situations I encounter or am in.

I've been doing a minimum of 90 min bible studies daily and I love it. Back in early 2018 I was diagnosed with Autism. Since then I've been learning different ways to study to help me comprehend what I'm studying. This definitely helps. THANK YOU!

There's a lot of doom preaching false prophets preaching online and in churches that should definitely watch this video. We can't predict the end times, jesus told us that, but we have our will to follow and worship God regardless of the persecutions we will face and the earthly dangers our faith will bring upon us and to love our persecutors. My take from this is to live in the way of Jesus and regardless of the state of the world, to not turn to RUclips preachers for answers and for signs of the end, because Jesus said he'll return like a thief in the night, which I think meant none of us will see it coming, but to be prepared, to me that means to repent and live a life of love and kindness, and above all, keep my faith no matter how brutal the consequences. I watched this and many other videos trying to make sense of this scary time we're living in and the way this explains the symbolism in revelation makes a lot more sense than anything else I've seen or read, and there's no hidden agenda behind it. I will share this with others
To be prepared also means recognizing the signs too Matt 24:32-33. You aren't wrong though bro, but just watching these videos are not enough. Everyone does have their own agenda, but love for God and his commandments will ultimately give you peace no matter what.
I just want to encourage you to read the entire Bible for yourself too. Not only watch videos that you like. There's some phrases in this video that don't line up with biblical truth so be careful.

I've been a christian for a while, and I tried to read through the bible before, but I was never able to get past Leviticus. Yeah! Haha. But on a more serious note, that is truly hell! Just experiencing this quarantine has affected and hurt many lives. How muchmore when people are eternally quarantined from the goodness of God! Take away the lake of burning sulfur, this on itself is already a living hell!

When I first read the book of revelation, I got terrified but now after I finished all the books from genesis to revelation, my eyes where opened and God comforted and assured me (through His word) that there is nothing to be afraid of. Praise God for He is true to His promises. Got excited of what things to come when our King returns. The "eternal quarantine" at 9:06 takes on a whole new meaning for me during this pandemic 😂😂😂 Like - the book of Revelation is giving us more vivid ways to preach to ppl. "Y'all remember that quarantine back in 2020 when y'all had to teach your kids? Hell is like that, but infinitely worse" 😂😂😂
Absolutely incredible! The reading of the Revelation was riveting-I could not have imagined how powerful the recitation would be. The Hebrew prayer connected with me on a cellular level and brought tears to my eyes. My thanks to everyone that made this possible and accessible to people like me.
This increased my faith! It is so timely as we look at the changes taking place in our own country and around the world. I was filled with apprehension because before I saw this video, I viewed the events of Revelation as a fearful time of tribulation, death and destruction like the world has never seen before and that the potential fall of the United States is a sign that we are getting closer to those “last days” rather then as part of a cycle of “Babylons” rising and following through out history. AND, we still have an opportunity to repent, do justice and love mercy. Our role as Believers is to imitate Jesus (the lamb) and through our actions win souls for Christ as people see God’s love and mercy reflected in us! I've gone through various times in the past wherein I was convinced that "the end times were upon us" I don't know if they are or not, but we do live in a rebellious world where role reversals of good and evil occur. I think we ought to strive to encourage one another with truth and love and expect to live to see our grandchildren grow up and plan accordingly all the while regarding "the hope to which we are called" (Ephesians) God bless you all, pay it forward and love the Lord our God.

The videos about revelations are filled with errors. Like, the two witnesses are two men. They will show up in Jerusalem. Wait and see. Read the revelation carfully and believe what it says.
i am newly saved and i still don’t fully understand everything, especially revelations. last night i felt so fearful, hearing of the end of the times, the rapture and just the fear of going to heaven before i get to have a family here on earth. i prayed last night for God to help me not be scared, to help me see His will and to trust in his completely. and then i find this page today! This really helped, over the fear driven videos that you come across about the end of times. Thank you BibleProject, thank you to everyone who shares the gospel, who loves jesus christ and who loves this gift of life. i am so grateful to be saved from a life of sin and disillusionment and now I gave my life to Jesus and I know He is king of the universe and the savior of my heart.

I love how these series don't address every question. They leave room for ambiguity where there is already disagreement. Instead of dwelling on the details they're getting to the heart of the message. Not to say details shouldn't be investigated, but that the overall message of redeeming the world CANNOT be lost in the process❤

Well, in fairness it's not, and it takes some pretty fancy high tech explaining to map out here. It could tell us far more plainly that calling ourselves "Republican" or "Democrat" is a trick that asks us to ignore the science that proves the policies of both of these economic powers would collapse any nation as a mathematic certainty. Being able to only vote for collapse is a systemically unempathetic situation and "evil" society that needs protected against in constitution - as FDR explained in 1944, and as Revelation is explaining here as well in a round-about way.
Daniel 7:21-22 "I kept looking and a horn was waging war with saints and overcame them. Then the Ancient of days came to judgement (resurrection of the dead and physical rapture up) to be given to the holy of the Highest One, and the time had arrived for the saints to possess a kingdom (heaven)." Daniel 7:23 “it followed the fourth beast, the fourth kingdom (America came out of the Western world) and the Earth had changed, for all kingdoms were devoured on the whole Earth, they were tread down and crushed (the world-wide apocalypse of WWI).” Daniel 7:24 “for the ten and their horns were of this kingdom (America drew the lines in the Middle East in 1919), ten kings (to be declared in the Middle East of the remains of The Ottoman Empire), arise and another arose after (Barack Hussein Obama in America), changing all the first and ruining three kings (Egypt, Libya, and Tunesia).” Daniel 7:25 “He will speak against Allah, to wear out the saints of the Highest One, intending to change time to a decree (stop all time - decrees are final), and give his hand a time, and a time, and a cutting off time.” Daniel 7:26 “But the judgment shall be final and his dominion shall pass away, then annihilation, the perishing of the end.” Daniel 7:27-28 “He shall reign with dominion great all kingdoms underneath the whole of heavens (HELL), give the people under all of heaven to the people of Allah, for his kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall be in reverence and full obedience (the main focus of Islam), for here revelation ended with, Daniel (God is my judge), the thought was greatly alarming, and my face whitened sick.”

I was in tears towards the end. The Revelation (haha) of God coming back to live with us and how well all live peacefully is amazing and the whole thing just made me feel better about the Book of Revelation.
I love these videos. Reading the Bible alone can be challenging, especially when trying to understand why certain books were put in the Bible in the first place; what do they have to do with the story of salvation. I guess I just take Revelation literally. REAL MAN who is anti-christ, REAL MAN who is false prophet, etc. We will have to wait and see how God plays it out, but we agree on the ending! Jesus wins!
This book is so deep and... dense. Like, sometimes you're afraid of going trough it because you are never sure that your interpretation is 100% right or a 100% wrong. It's just... Complicated. But I liked the video. I attend to a pentecostal church, so we are taught that all these things will be happening while the church is up in heaven, in the Lamb's Wedding.
Yeah the church will be tested on earth. There is no follower of God that didn’t go through tests and suffered persecution. I could pick many example like the Exodus. The prophets of the Old Testament,followers of Jesus and even Jesus himself The church will indeed suffer persecution’s and then Jesus will return to deliver his people Test are used to test the heart and loyalty of gods people We see that in relationships and marriages as well The ultimate way to test loyalty and faithfulness would be death and financial threats
Love it!!!! Revelation has always been my favourite book in the Bible since the day I understood this vision. A final stamp of remembrance that whatever the ages holds for us or the next generation, God is in control and He will prevail and He will give us the strength for us to prevail regardless of how it seems in the physical. Greg Logan Jesus taught a couple parables about His return. They emphasized the importance of being ready and to never be caught off guard. When a Jesus follower says he has time and that Jesus isn’t coming anytime soon, that is very dangerous because nobody knows when. We say he’s coming soon because it’s sooner than yesterday, and we always want to be ready. However he gave us signs that would take place on earth. When these signs happen more frequently, we will know he is close.

So did anybody else get the ending there about the final battle and Gods judgement ? It's really about us judging who to be with after having full knowledge. I loved it , and makes way more sense than what many seem to try and tell us in what is pretty much a high pressure sales pitch. Of course our ability to see clearly may be severely hindered , but ultimately nobody is saved or lost until then .

After reading the book and seeing this video, my love, comfort and appreciation for Jesus and God continues to grow. Living in a world of uncertainty, it is a very good feeling to know that there is in fact something that is certain. That is in Jesus Christ and his father. Knowing that Gods plan will save us from the dark forces at work that are plaguing us and making temptation much more harder to resist. I pray that all of those who struggle with worry, temptation and uncertainty find peace and comfort in Jesus as he is the only way to eternal life and a world with no conflict and peace. That was extremely reassuring, my whole life I’ve thought of revelation as this impending doom. Now I see that it’s telling the story of how everyone will eventually become a babylon and that Jesus will come to free the world from evil
It seems the creator of this series simplifies God's work in the universe as being motivated by restoring "God's good world" as it was originally designed. But Revelation makes it clear that the old heaven, and the old earth will pass away and there will be a new heaven and a new earth (complete with new measurements and design). But the creator of this series uses the word "restore". Don't get me wrong I appreciate the "overview" videos and although I feel the creator sometimes pushes the boundaries of orthodoxy, his book summaries appear to be based on good hermeneutics. But I get this sense, that Tim believes God is simply on a mission to restore the original creation which He called "very good". God will not restore it, it has been corrupted. He will destroy it and make a new creation again. In a separate video from Tim Mackie, he says that in Genesis 1:1 God did NOT create hell, and then concludes that man did! Wait a minute. God did not create hell because sin was not in existence then. Tim goes on to equate hell to sin or evil. But Revelation makes it clear that there is a lake of fire and sulfur. And that Satan and the lost will be cast INTO the lake of fire. Now I do not know about you, but where I come from fires are created. Hell is not a spiritual state, status, condition or dimension. It is a created place, and people will be sent there, not just remain in that state of separation. It is called the second death for a reason. And believe me on earth even the wicked get to benefit from the blessing of God, but not in hell. So either way, their existence certainly changes in the end. In yet another created video from Tim on Romans, Tim appears to mock the wrath of God. He basically says "God wants to kill you because you sinned, but decided to kill Jesus instead." and then sort of mocks that idea, presenting the idea that God would not kill because it is not in His character. News flash: God killed Hophni and Phinehas in the OT, and Ananias and Sapphira in the NT. God did so out of His wrath. John 3:36 and Romans make it clear that God's wrath abides on unbelievers, not just on their sin. Jesus said in John 3 that unbelievers stand condemned already (persons, not an evil force or dimension). Not just that their sin stood condemned, but that they did. Revelation makes clear that all will be resurrected and judged according to their works. The lost people will be judged in wrath and cast INTO the lake of fire, not just their sin. Sinning against God is personal, and His wrath is also. He is holy in His wrath by the way. When describing Noah's flood Tim uses words like "humanity is ruining (God's good world) and that God's response was His passion to protect the goodness of His world, He washes it of humanity's evil with a great flood." Friends, God destroyed all of humanity in the flood except Noah and family. He did not just destroy humanity's evil. My impression is that Tim has concluded that because God teaches us to love the sinner and hate the sin. But also concludes that Jesus did not come to be a propitiation (to satisfy the wrath of God), but that He simply came to defeat evil, absorbing sin like a sponge, which Tim equates to hell. Yes, Jesus will conquer evil (but evil is personal as it entered the world through persons), but He is also our propitiation (He satisfies the wrath of God on our behalf). Go back and read Exodus, Moses interceded for the people, otherwise God in His wrath would have broke out against them to destroy them all! That is the picture of Jesus who interceded for us. God's wrath is real, and yes it is also personal. Not sure Tim believes that. But that is OK, and between he and God. The video series is not bad. But I seem to hear this theme over and about "God's good world". So I thought it was worth talking about. Tim also describes our relationship to God as a partnership. That is a pretty subjective word. Certainly we could never be equal partners. Paul described himself as a "bond slave" to Christ. Now that is a very different word than "partner". Just some food for thought. Read your bible every day, and meditate on it. Let the Holy Spirit use God's word to work in your heart. Perhaps you may agree with Tim on some things, and disagree on others. That is where I am on just about every Christian writer I read. These videos are a resource, not THE source. And you should use other resources as well. A good bible dictionary, the Bible Readers Companion (Richards), a Strongs Concordance, and some good well reviewed commentaries. But at the end of the day, the Bible and the Holy Spirit are the source. Everything else is a resource, and you have to test it all! Be strong and courageous, and be diligent, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Well stated, Vincent Nutt! I agree these videos are a good source of commentary and overall understanding of each book but not The source. The Bible tells us to study..."line upon line and precept upon precept..." Keeping in mind that the Bible is a collection of 66 different books written by 40 different authors over a span of about 1500 years. Holy men of God who were used of God and inspired by His Holy Spirit, to give us hope and courage even into the last generation of earth's history before Christ returns to redeem his faithful followers. The book or Revelation speaks of two resurrections, the 1st, to the people in the graves all over the world who rest in the faith of The Lord and those faithful living, all to be caught up in the air to be with Jesus . The second resurrection of those referred to as the unrighteous resting in the grave to be judged according to their admission and omission of unrepentant sin, to be sent to the lake of fire, which was originally prepared for Satan and the 3rd of angels who fell from Heaven because of their rebellion against God and His righteousness and their allegiance to Satan and his unrighteousness....it is written..."choose He whom ye will serve..." as for me, I choose and praise God in the highest!!!
Yes there is definitely something amiss in these videos.. They're well put together.. But makes the person watching like ahh Revelation ain't so bad it's all picking Daisy's and no worries... But truth is what it is...I believe daily bread means to read His word and pray daily and consume all this through prayer and spreading His word with others that do not know Him... In fairness this is a very weird liberal take on Revelation. Don't be scared of reading it at all but do be aware that Tim's 'it's all lovely and nobody need be offended or convicted by it' take on this book is vastly misleading.

I started drinking when I was 16. I would drink at parties, but I also started drinking alone because I was unhappy, and I was in a lot of emotional pain all the time. My mom was very aggressive when I was younger, and my brother hated her and so did I. He started hanging out with shady people, he started failing all his classes, he was never home, and my parents fought all the time. I also ran away several times. I was always trying to figure out a reason as to why I was here or what the purpose of life was. So, I started looking at different philosophies, religions, and beliefs. When I was 18 after I was hungover, I got on my knees and I prayed for the first time. I asked if God was real that he would show me he was real because I couldn’t take it anymore. I was crying when I prayed for this. At that moment I felt a presence come over me like a wind. It was barely noticeable, but it was unlike anything in my life I had experienced up until that point. I was surprised when I felt it and I remember saying “what was that?” after that experience I pretty much forgot what happened and kept partying, until my senior year when I got arrested. After my arrest, my parents lost all their trust in me and I was expelled from high school. I was told never to come back. At that time, I felt afraid and hopeless. That’s when I started looking for God, and I prayed that he would reveal himself in my life and that he would give me signs. My prayers began getting answered so consistently that I couldn’t deny that God was doing something. It was mysterious and compelling. I ended up in Church and started reading the bible hours a day. I stopped hanging out with all my other friends because they were continually getting arrested. I was able to forgive my family and myself and to ask to be forgiven. I noticed how at Church people were judgmental and how they formed cliques but were afraid to be around anyone else different from them. It increased my faith because I realized Jesus was not like that and ever since I was young, I saw people as people regardless of who they were. After a while, it’s like I could see God's presence was in my life and then it felt like he wasn’t, and then he was, and then he wasn’t. One day I woke up and felt more depressed than I ever have in my entire life. I felt like I was dying on the inside. That night I prayed, and I said, God, I don’t see my life five years from now I'm going to die Jesus save me Lord, please save me. I was weeping when I said it and when I asked him to save me, I felt a presence inside of me like a heartbeat, and I felt it once like a pulse, and I said Lord please save me and I felt it again even stronger. It was like radiance. When I woke up the next morning, I had transformed everything felt brand new like I was a kid again. All my fears and all my racing thoughts everything was gone. I looked at my hands, and I said this can’t be real it’s impossible. When I looked at myself in the mirror, I saw a different person. I started praying, and the holy spirit became entirely real to me it was washing over me and inside of me. It was total love and peace, and I heard a voice but not an audible one, it was an inner voice. It said I am with you; I love you, I will never leave you, it’s done it’s finished. That was May 3rd, 2009, and ever since then I’ve followed God, I have seen many things change and many things I know wouldn’t have changed without faith and belief. I know what it’s like to be lost to feel you have no hope. Don’t ever think you’re stuck, or life can’t change because it can. My mom is a Christian now, Its night and day. Some of the things that went away during that period were severe anxiety and my addiction to alcohol. I’ve seen and experienced so many things that are miraculous and seen how God has worked in my life. When we ask God to forgive us for what we’ve done and turn away from our sins and wrongdoings and we believe in Christ's sacrifice everything changes. His word says if we confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that he died and rose again we will have eternal life but not just life after death but abundant life in the present. Our sins are erased not only past, present, and future but our burdens and fears are lifted also. Our thoughts, our minds, our hearts, our souls are transformed and united with God and we know his spirit lives in us. If you seek, pray, and knock you will know JESUS IS KING!!! HE LIVES!

Be carefulr reading books in order they r n the bible...the epistles come AFTER jesus death. And the gospels are during jesus life. Each section have a message for THAT time. Everything in the bible is written FOR US but not necessarily TO US. ( adam to soloman ) are to the jews remember....we r gentiles.

If you decide to begin again I found the Immerse Reading system very helpful. Maybe I dare say revolutionary. I've struggled through the years with Genesis - Revelation systems. Hard to remember themes, story line etc. They suggest beginning with New ( 2nd ) Testament. Begins with Luke and groups the books in a different order. Tyndale Publishers. Presume these guys here know them.
I remember reading the book of revelation when I was a teenager, and when I finished reading it I was both terrified and extremely confused (hahaha). Ive been really excited for the bible project to put out the book of Revelation videos. They made it so easy to understand and provided perspective, I feel I'll be able to go back and read the book again with better direction. God bless the bible project!!

Good works unto God that you mention do not cancel other other realities in prophecy.
I just finished revelation today and I’m absolutely moved by the word of God. Jesus Christ truly did die on the cross only to be resurrected and allow many people to witness so they may go on to spread His teachings and since He confirmed the scriptures, we can safely believe John’s visions in Revelation. Jesus Christ is King of Kings and Lord of Lords and all glory is His. He is all that was, is, and will be. I fear judgement because I am a sinner but by the grace of God, I ask in Jesus’ name that the Holy Spirit guides me and gives me patience, wisdom, strength, love, and loyalty to God by following His commandments. I invite everyone else who chooses to unite with our Heavenly Father to do the same. In Jesus name Amen.
Faith ALONE in Jesus Christ ALONE is the ONLY way to reach True Salvation. That is The Good News. That is The True Gospel of Jesus Christ. Never confuse Salvation as a Faith + Works/Following of the "Law' doctrine. That is a doctrine of Satan. Faith alone is the ONLY way. He already paid for our sins, defeated sin and death... And He offers it is a free gift. That is why it is The Good News... Because it is SO simple. When we are saved truly, we 'change', repentance means 'a change of disbelief to belief'... in Jesus Christ when talking about repentance in Christianity. 99% of Christendom teaches Faith + Works = Salvation and that is 100% WRONG and the Doctrine of Satan/of Devils... I've heard that the devil tries to use our sins to toy with our heads to convince us we are beyond salvation and give up trying to resist.

There's a lot of doom preaching false prophets preaching online and in churches that should definitely watch this video. We can't predict the end times, jesus told us that, but we have our will to follow and worship God regardless of the persecutions we will face and the earthly dangers our faith will bring upon us and to love our persecutors.
My take from this is to live in the way of Jesus and regardless of the state of the world, to not turn to RUclips preachers for answers and for signs of the end, because Jesus said he'll return like a thief in the night, which I think meant none of us will see it coming, but to be prepared, to me that means to repent and live a life of love and kindness, and above all, keep my faith no matter how brutal the consequences.
I watched this and many other videos trying to make sense of this scary time we're living in and the way this explains the symbolism in revelation makes a lot more sense than anything else I've seen or read, and there's no hidden agenda behind it.

To be prepared also means recognizing the signs too Matt 24:32-33. You aren't wrong though bro, but just watching these videos are not enough. Everyone does have their own agenda, but love for God and his commandments will ultimately give you peace no matter what.
I just want to encourage you to read the entire Bible for yourself too. Not only watch videos that you like. There's some phrases in this video that don't line up with biblical truth so be careful.

Absolutely incredible! The reading of the Revelation was riveting-I could not have imagined how powerful the recitation would be. The Hebrew prayer connected with me on a cellular level and brought tears to my eyes. My thanks to everyone that made this possible and accessible to people like me.
My favourite depiction is the wedding. That Christ will come to be with his people like a groom with his bride. I love it.
This increased my faith! It is so timely as we look at the changes taking place in our own country and around the world. I was filled with apprehension because before I saw this video, I viewed the events of Revelation as a fearful time of tribulation, death and destruction like the world has never seen before and that the potential fall of the United States is a sign that we are getting closer to those “last days” rather then as part of a cycle of “Babylons” rising and following through out history. AND, we still have an opportunity to repent, do justice and love mercy. I love how these series don't address every question. They leave room for ambiguity where there is already disagreement. Instead of dwelling on the details they're getting to the heart of the message. Not to say details shouldn't be investigated, but that the overall message of redeeming the world CANNOT be lost in the process❤

Well, in fairness it's not, and it takes some pretty fancy high tech explaining to map out here. It could tell us far more plainly that calling ourselves "Republican" or "Democrat" is a trick that asks us to ignore the science that proves the policies of both of these economic powers would collapse any nation as a mathematic certainty. Being able to only vote for collapse is a systemically unempathetic situation and "evil" society that needs protected against in constitution - as FDR explained in 1944, and as Revelation is explaining here as well in a round-about way.

I was in tears towards the end. The Revelation (haha) of God coming back to live with us and how well all live peacefully is amazing and the whole thing just made me feel better about the Book of Revelation.
I love these videos. Reading the Bible alone can be challenging, especially when trying to understand why certain books were put in the Bible in the first place; what do they have to do with the story of salvation. A final stamp of remembrance that whatever the ages holds for us or the next generation, God is in control and He will prevail and He will give us the strength for us to prevail regardless of how it seems in the physical. I started a personal project to read all of the bible from cover to cover some months ago and yesterday I completed that task. So I just wanted to say that prior to starting each of the 66 books I would listen to your overview of it first and in conjunction with the study bible I got through it all. Greg Logan Jesus taught a couple parables about His return. They emphasized the importance of being ready and to never be caught off guard. When a Jesus follower says he has time and that Jesus isn’t coming anytime soon, that is very dangerous because nobody knows when. We say he’s coming soon because it’s sooner than yesterday, and we always want to be ready. However he gave us signs that would take place on earth. When these signs happen more frequently, we will know he is close.

It's really about us judging who to be with after having full knowledge.
I loved it , and makes way more sense than what many seem to try and tell us in what is pretty much a high pressure sales pitch.
Of course our ability to see clearly may be severely hindered , but ultimately nobody is saved or lost until then .

That was awsome, I always too revelations as literally as possible. Little did I know it was simply trying to point me back to the ultimate promise, that God will return and heal us and claim us as His own!
After reading the book and seeing this video, my love, comfort and appreciation for Jesus and God continues to grow. Living in a world of uncertainty, it is a very good feeling to know that there is in fact something that is certain. That is in Jesus Christ and his father. Knowing that Gods plan will save us from the dark forces at work that are plaguing us and making temptation much more harder to resist. I pray that all of those who struggle with worry, temptation and uncertainty find peace and comfort in Jesus as he is the only way to eternal life and a world with no conflict and peace. Thank you bible project for your service to God and for helping everyone understand how important the Bible is and how important it is to study, breathe and live in the only book in which the author is present!
That was extremely reassuring, my whole life I’ve thought of revelation as this impending doom. Now I see that it’s telling the story of how everyone will eventually become a babylon and that Jesus will come to free the world from evil

@@betterleftsaid3688It makes no sense to take Revelation literally. It is clearly an apocalyptic allegory summing up the message of the Bible.
It seems the creator of this series simplifies God's work in the universe as being motivated by restoring "God's good world" as it was originally designed. But Revelation makes it clear that the old heaven, and the old earth will pass away and there will be a new heaven and a new earth (complete with new measurements and design). But the creator of this series uses the word "restore".
Don't get me wrong I appreciate the "overview" videos and although I feel the creator sometimes pushes the boundaries of orthodoxy, his book summaries appear to be based on good hermeneutics. But I get this sense, that Tim believes God is simply on a mission to restore the original creation which He called "very good". God will not restore it, it has been corrupted. He will destroy it and make a new creation again.
In a separate video from Tim Mackie, he says that in Genesis 1:1 God did NOT create hell, and then concludes that man did! Wait a minute. God did not create hell because sin was not in existence then. Tim goes on to equate hell to sin or evil. But Revelation makes it clear that there is a lake of fire and sulfur. And that Satan and the lost will be cast INTO the lake of fire. Now I do not know about you, but where I come from fires are created. Hell is not a spiritual state, status, condition or dimension. It is a created place, and people will be sent there, not just remain in that state of separation. It is called the second death for a reason. And believe me on earth even the wicked get to benefit from the blessing of God, but not in hell. So either way, their existence certainly changes in the end.
In yet another created video from Tim on Romans, Tim appears to mock the wrath of God. He basically says "God wants to kill you because you sinned, but decided to kill Jesus instead." and then sort of mocks that idea, presenting the idea that God would not kill because it is not in His character. News flash: God killed Hophni and Phinehas in the OT, and Ananias and Sapphira in the NT. God did so out of His wrath. John 3:36 and Romans make it clear that God's wrath abides on unbelievers, not just on their sin. Jesus said in John 3 that unbelievers stand condemned already (persons, not an evil force or dimension). Not just that their sin stood condemned, but that they did. Revelation makes clear that all will be resurrected and judged according to their works. The lost people will be judged in wrath and cast INTO the lake of fire, not just their sin. Sinning against God is personal, and His wrath is also. He is holy in His wrath by the way. When describing Noah's flood Tim uses words like "humanity is ruining (God's good world) and that God's response was His passion to protect the goodness of His world, He washes it of humanity's evil with a great flood." Friends, God destroyed all of humanity in the flood except Noah and family. He did not just destroy humanity's evil.
My impression is that Tim has concluded that because God teaches us to love the sinner and hate the sin. But also concludes that Jesus did not come to be a propitiation (to satisfy the wrath of God), but that He simply came to defeat evil, absorbing sin like a sponge, which Tim equates to hell. Yes, Jesus will conquer evil (but evil is personal as it entered the world through persons), but He is also our propitiation (He satisfies the wrath of God on our behalf). Go back and read Exodus, Moses interceded for the people, otherwise God in His wrath would have broke out against them to destroy them all! That is the picture of Jesus who interceded for us. God's wrath is real, and yes it is also personal. Not sure Tim believes that. But that is OK, and between he and God. The video series is not bad. But I seem to hear this theme over and about "God's good world". So I thought it was worth talking about. Tim also describes our relationship to God as a partnership. That is a pretty subjective word. Certainly we could never be equal partners. Paul described himself as a "bond slave" to Christ. Now that is a very different word than "partner". Just some food for thought.
Read your bible every day, and meditate on it. Let the Holy Spirit use God's word to work in your heart. Perhaps you may agree with Tim on some things, and disagree on others. That is where I am on just about every Christian writer I read. These videos are a resource, not THE source. And you should use other resources as well. A good bible dictionary, the Bible Readers Companion (Richards), a Strongs Concordance, and some good well reviewed commentaries. But at the end of the day, the Bible and the Holy Spirit are the source. Everything else is a resource, and you have to test it all! Be strong and courageous, and be diligent, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Well stated, Vincent Nutt! I agree these videos are a good source of commentary and overall understanding of each book but not The source. The Bible tells us to study..."line upon line and precept upon precept..." Keeping in mind that the Bible is a collection of 66 different books written by 40 different authors over a span of about 1500 years. Holy men of God who were used of God and inspired by His Holy Spirit, to give us hope and courage even into the last generation of earth's history before Christ returns to redeem his faithful followers. The book or Revelation speaks of two resurrections, the 1st, to the people in the graves all over the world who rest in the faith of The Lord and those faithful living, all to be caught up in the air to be with Jesus . The second resurrection of those referred to as the unrighteous resting in the grave to be judged according to their admission and omission of unrepentant sin, to be sent to the lake of fire, which was originally prepared for Satan and the 3rd of angels who fell from Heaven because of their rebellion against God and His righteousness and their allegiance to Satan and his unrighteousness....it is written..."choose He whom ye will serve..." as for me, I choose and praise God in the highest!!!
Yes there is definitely something amiss in these videos.. They're well put together.. But makes the person watching like ahh Revelation ain't so bad it's all picking Daisy's and no worries... But truth is what it is...I believe daily bread means to read His word and pray daily and consume all this through prayer and spreading His word with others that do not know Him... In fairness this is a very weird liberal take on Revelation. Don't be scared of reading it at all but do be aware that Tim's 'it's all lovely and nobody need be offended or convicted by it' take on this book is vastly misleading.
