I think instead of learning techniques to determine one's orientation, astrologers should focus on techniques for gender. This way you don't make general conclusions like gay or straight. You can focus on whether their spouse, ex-spouse, or casual sex partner was a man or a woman. You can also see if someone's first two marriages were opposite sex and later in life married a man until death; you don't need to focus on labelling someone's orientation and instead just focus on specific periods in their life. Can you recommend any books or e-classes that teach gender techniques?

This is an interesting perspective of the fluidity of astrology. Perhaps it's more as below, so above! I'm sort of on the cusp of that emergence of gay acceptance as a 37 year old. I have an Aquarius sun in the 12th house. During my time and certainly where I grew up, open homosexuality was dangerous and I absolutely did find myself as an outsider. There are other aspects such as a Venus and Mars conjunction in Pisces square a Uranus and Jupiter conjunction in Sagittarius.
My soon to be husband has exactly the same aspect...born 4th of February 1983...were you born on that day as well by any chance? I am a bit worried now when you mentioned your aspects...he’s got Scorpio moon too with Saturn and pluto in 7th house...

It seems to me relatively many gay or bi people born in 1981/1982.. but maybe i am prejudiced. I am from dec 1982
