Was kind of bummed Qing had no cav ideas. Felt like my previous idea picks weren’t as fitting as Qing as they were for Manchu. Wasn’t too excited to continue the campaign.
35:00 the new cool down they added starts ticking after you pick the option, so it is still technically better by a few months to hold the event on screen
Shenyang is the best capital for qing: -far east subcontinent (China TC $) -Beijing trade node -manchu culture -gems -grasslands So when forming qing i recommed moving capital from Beijing to Shenyang
@@GolemEnt will definitely go wide as a horde, would reform government to monarchy or republic probably otherwise. Tbh I’ve been playing EU since 2010, I need to shake things up once in awhile!
5 free cav units from the estate privilege helped a lot early + all battles i believe were complete wipes. Make sure you always engage with your ruler-general too
can u still switch to mongol culture while forming Qing and get their mission tree on top, which makes you a horde again and allows for Great Yuan into Mongol Empire?
Why did you declare with Reconquest in the first war against Ming, instead of Tribal Conquest (which would've given you much more war score from battles)?
@Bobbloob taking the Mandate means dealing with the Mandate fudging up your units quality if you lack certain cities and tributaries, neither of which could be gotten within the first war with the Ming, and taking the Mandate would just make future wars with the Ming more difficult as you're dealing with a depowered Mandate and Ming has had that problem taken off their hands. And to the original commentor, you don't really care about warscore from battles unless you plan on taking land or fighting a fast war and he was planning on getting his cores, taking the Beijing region, and a load of money with time not really being an issue as he'd be waiting out truces either way.
@@followingfire76 Ever razed most of China or India? Or at the end of a WC, when you're leaving 8 wars at once? Diplo is fine when you're razing less than like 10 provinces, but when you've gotta raze 50+, there being a change of colour for the ones you razed is a godsend.
For me it has been 'z' for as long as I can remember, but maybe I attributed it to it in some unexplained way during all these years of playing eu IV and forgot. greetings from your union partner from Poland!
Dude... You could GREATLY exploited the "sinicization" decisions from FOREIGN countries with Vietnamese, Korean cultures & any other cultures in the Tibetan group (plus don't forget about the Sino-Altaic, it's only possible by letting the Oirats/Mongolia TAKE the MoH from the Ming & restore Yuan) by feeding those specific foreign nations with enough non-Manchu Chinese culture group states. That way, You don't even HAVE to have a issue of wether to accept those cultures or not
lol manchu mania, i did the same run 3 days ago, i wish dat doha structure works as confucian, i really hate that you need a specific culture or religion for monuments
Regarding the monuments it's mainly because they have cultural or religious significance to their select group and anyone else would just see a pretty structure as they lack the requisite cultural or religious knowledge.
900 likes on this vid and i'll do a Norway campaign!
Enjoy runs in China? Check out the Ming video next: ruclips.net/video/ww_RAGmdlYU/видео.html
Going Norse?
@aidanlatham8935 indeed sir

Did this run a while ago, was a ton of fun. This video was a great reminder!
28:25 I think you should have waited a month to get the take mandate of heaven cb. You can take so much more land using that.
Poor Ming. During the first war they were even in a regency. Thanks for the video.
There is a razing map mode to show you what provinces you can raze.
6:34 Actually, there is a “Razing” view on the economic tab. Its quite nice since you’ll know which provinces you already razed :).
Rip Tripitaka Koreana, bro sieged korean capital before being confucian 😢
r.i.p. I need to practice playing in asia more
You are the greatest qing emperor as I know 🎉
I loved this video very cool:)
Weirdly, I’m thinking of trying an ultra-tall Manchu campaign rather than a big Qing campaign.
Ultra-tall Manchu? o_O if you're gonna stay a horde why not go ultra wide
@@GolemEnt will definitely go wide as a horde, would reform government to monarchy or republic probably otherwise.
Tbh I’ve been playing EU since 2010, I need to shake things up once in awhile!
Best eu4 player ❤
I did enjoy this video
Are u ever planning to try a wold conquest or just a whole campaign till 1821? Btw nice video 🙂
How do you stay so positive in manpower? I feel like I'm constantly at zero manpower until after the first war with Ming.
5 free cav units from the estate privilege helped a lot early + all battles i believe were complete wipes. Make sure you always engage with your ruler-general too
Mount pikachu 😂😂😂😂😂😂😅😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😂
Mount Pikachu 😂😂 made me wanna play manchu > qing , 50% CAV + EXPLO and ARISTO, then probably trade and have loads of cav
can u still switch to mongol culture while forming Qing and get their mission tree on top, which makes you a horde again and allows for Great Yuan into Mongol Empire?
I have only done a Ming campaing, seems like Qing is better and more fun.
You don’t have to core them conquer first then you get free core from a mission or decision.
Yeah true but only about the last batch of cores because i dont think you wanna mess with 100+ overextension early
Why did you declare with Reconquest in the first war against Ming, instead of Tribal Conquest (which would've given you much more war score from battles)?
I'd rather ask why wouldn't he use take mandate of heaven cb

@@thegreatestdane8978 you don't need to take the madate with the CB, you should almost always use it when you can
Which is better yuan or qing ?
Probably Yuan based off ideas, but if you're going for achievements, 30%+ manchu banners from Qing is cool
obv yuan
There is a razing mapmode, no need to stick to diplomatic.
No offense but I'm not adding a keybind to cycle through solely for a useless map mode like razing, especially when diplo does everything it does.
@@followingfire76 you dont need to add it? Just switch to it for a second

Do you use keybinds for every map mode? 😂
do more plz
😱😱😱
You can raze the provinces with the Z button
No, that's not a default keybind. I've tried to set it up via ingame shortcuts window but it doesn't work for razing

@@thegreatestdane8978 but confucian should use all of them, but probally would be too broken (it is already)
