the level 4 forts are the most useless thing in the world. why get them early when you just pay more for upkeep? The earlier you have more money, the faster you snowball so getting level 4 forts is actually a hinderance to mid game snowballing.

I wanted to find a relevant video on "how to Muscovy", since I played Muscovy like 5 times and only first one of them was more or less successful, the last three times I was ABSOLUTELY DESTROYED by BS Ottomans! But now, since I watched your video, I guess I won't be playing as Muscovy anymore. I just can't play like you, you are TOO GOOD. =) Thanks for the video, I enjoyed every moment of it! ^_^

would it be possible to be a stateless society plus a free city in the hre? without doing it as a custom nation or by cheating? cos then ud get super defensive bonuses right? or can only monarchies be in the hre?

i didnt realise papal controller gets ae reduction.. i never normally go for it cos id usually rather spend my points on the other bonuses, and in my experience, the ai nearly always wins... when i played once as the pope, papal state, i literally lost 3 out of 4 of them when i had around 70-80% chance of winning

is there a mission in milan also to upgrade forts early? like in savoy? or did you use savoys mission to get forts? whats the best play to get maxed forts? level 8/9s? does it involve changing nation 3 times? i was playing an extreme playing tall playthru recently.. using tons of buffs and what i noticed is i build units super quick in extremely high dev provinces and i had super economy.. so i could put a fort in 100% of my provinces.. i basically took everything that improved forts or made them cheaper.. so in 1600s i had level 6 forts in every province and enemies and rebels had no chance to siege me down.. enemies needed 28k troops.. not sure if some other things increase the number of troops needed? does dev do it? i was basically a religious nation theological with innovative, divine, defensive, infrastructure, trade & later i would take economic ideas. it was probably the best ive ever done in the game.. not only super economy but impossible for anyone to take even one province of mine

To make it worse, if you HAD joined france in that war of the public weal and helped them win, they immediately get burgundy and brittany as subjects (as long as they joined the war against them)

the one good thing about being a theocracy in the hre is that you can get kingdom rank without being an elector, though you do have to wait a long time before it becomes worthwhile (you could get the reform that allows your rulers and hairs to be generals. you could get the reform that reveals the stats of you hair options, or you could try to make up for it by having 1 extra point in a category of your choice each time a new ruler is put in power)

my favourite thing about playing the dutch is having an extremely fortified border with france and germany so I can go around doing my stuff without worrying about my country getting occupied

This mod is really amazing, but i'm really sorry, so i have installed this mod, but i don't see any new missions. Wherever the country is, i have poor mission tree without new expanded, but other processes as events and new music really work, one thing that i don't see is new mission tree.What can i do with it?

im playing crimea.. i changed to catholic and joined the hre by moving my capital to next to austria and allying austria after warring venice all was going fine.. i was a lovely catholic horde.. then when i went to form golden horde it kicked me out of the hre.. annoying. ao ive tried to look up all kinds of ways to re get myself back into the hre.. nothing seems to work.. tried doing console command events like generic join hre event but it just disappears from the hre decision screen after you un pause.. i tried getting austria to ask me to join but it says base -100 and another -100 negative and only positive 70.. no idea how to increase that. it also removed all the provinces id already added to the hre when i formed golden horde. i cant form mongol empire cos i cant form chagatai even if i culture shift.. i cant form yuan cos i need to be empire rank and hre member cant be empire (unless i get hre emperor but i seem to never be voted for no matter how much i improve relations - is it cos im a horde???) weird how crimea a horde can join the hre, but golden horde cant even though im the exact same nation but with a different flag & map colour??? i tried looking for console commands to add nations to hre, couldnt find it.. i tried making myself a PU of someone in the hre and then moving time forward 20 years and doing a join hre event thing.. didnt work.. i tried changing to monarchy, didnt work. i tried playing as austria warring my own nation, taking the capital, adding it to the hre, giving the province back & then warring them again for their new capital province.. they didnt move their capital back to the original one.. or is it cos i had already moved it? they ignore high dev and move their capital back to the original crimea region.. but seems random to me.

Keep it going! Netherlands are one of my favorite countries to both play and watch. Also you probably know this, but you can get both Tidore and Ternate to colonize for you. Declare war on one, annex it, the other starts colonizing, release the first one as a vassal, declare war on the second, annex them, first one starts colonizing, release second as a vassal, and as long as you give them the province they started colonizing (you may have to finish it yourself before you can give it to them) they will also be able to continue their mission tree. Keep them both around and they will eventually colonize all of the the east indies for you when they both get a colonist at the end of their mission trees.

I did one where I ended up every city had 50 dev and all trade probs had 100 it was dumb but honestly pretty fun money goes brrrrrrt
