(What they didnt show) the posession before Tennessee PG Santiago Vescovi got away with a clear “hook and hold foul” which would have been a flagrant Penalty 1, two shots and the ball for Mizzou, which was not called. In a way the basketball gods always let you know truth.💯

The irony was Gholston hitting a buzzer beater for UW-Milwaukee to beat Cleveland State two years ago when Dennis Gates was the CSU coach. Now Gholston is playing for Gates and this is the second time this year he hit one for the Zou! Coach Gates knows how to get his teams to flip the switch starting in February.

Purdue is the only team that’s great. Look at the schedule for Tennessee, it’s good possibly that will win only two more games.And maybe not any. Alabama, Kentucky, Auburn, and Texas AM,South Carolina, probably lose three or more. It is what it is.

As a Mizzou fa, I have become to dislike this team so much and people think they are good. To start, they beat 9 easy teams, then beat Illinois, Kentucky, and Arkansas (all are bad). They are not a good team, this shot was luck, the game was alright and at least they stayed in it but my answer to everyone who thinks they are good is: what till tournament time

I’ll admit that their early season schedule was easy for Mizzou, so I didn’t read much into their good start early on. When they lost big to Kansas at home, I was thinking “same old Mizzou”, but they have beaten some good teams lately, such as Illinois, Kentucky, Arkansas, Iowa State, and now Tennessee. All were teams that we lost to by double digits last season. I vote Mizzou as “Final Four” material quite yet, but the way the last couple years went, I didn’t think we’d sniff anything close to 0.500 this season, even with the new coach.
