Awsome Laura! ❤❤❤❤❤ You made it look so EASY😊 1st time i came across this was sewing a dress in my 4-H club. I chose a design of fabrick that was very large, & a 1- Way Pattern, with a boarder. So 1 side was going to be upside-down, darts for the back & front had to be considered. (My Mother didn't tell me this was harder when we purchased the fabric). 😮...learned about "Pattern Repeat's". A simple a-line dress-no sleeves, but tailored. Custom Fit.
After that i shied away from Plads,- stripes & too small a repeat on the patterns. I had no feed dog attachment you attach on top for my old Singer. They really make a difference.
Later i learned that fabrick, wallpapers, conct paper, many things have, & list, how far apart repeats are. Lots of things do. It's something that has to be considered in the Math of a purchase.
Pattern Repeats & how to splice them together without loosing contentious visual patterns the eye can see.😊❤❤❤

Thanks so much for this video, Laura! It came at a very apt time. I have some quilt backing to piece that needs to be cohesive. This looks so great!

I goofed by an inch on cutting squares for a quilt - Yes I'm brand new LOL Maybe with this method and fudging the seam allowance on the two affected, I can make it work good enough. Even if it doesn't, I learned a new skill today :) Thank you!

Great video! Your method is similar to “Stack & Whack” quilting. (Not as complicated, though.)
