I 100% guarantee that those who moaned about the police namely Mr Pearson about seizing his car for no insurance would moan like little B1tches if they got hit by and uninsured driver and then ironically run to the POLICE and report it. They certainly wouldn't be like o you got no insurance mate don't worry I'll fix it myself toodaloo.

You can usually spot an unmarked cop car from the lights in the front grilles and windscreen. Gotta be an idiot not to notice plus they seem to drive the same sort of vehicles such as unmarked BMW 1 & 3 series and the occasional Skoda Octavia

I agree I was hit when our on my motorcycle. The woman that hit me had no insurance and no licence and next day cleared off back to Nigeria.
It’s now 16 years on and I struggle to walk more than 50 yards.
I ended up with 3 broken vertebrae, both arms broken at the shoulder joint and a compression of the bottom of my spine equivalent to landing on my arse from a 2nd floor window onto concrete.
She said to the police ‘I heard him but didn’t see him he was going 80mph plus’ and to the ambulance crew ‘I saw him but didn’t hear him’.
I had an uprated headlight bulb and a loud exhaust.
The police estimated I was going 29-30mph at the time which was correct as although I will admit used to ride fast at times in 30mph areas I used to stick to the limit.

East Birmingham in my experience is quite a scary place to drive. Without making assumptions it does tend to be young lads in VW or Audi cars who totally ignore the rules of the road. If they want to drive fast, then book a track day where they can do it safely
I was hit by someone who decided he wanted to set off from the traffic lights fast, he was not aware of his surroundings and I won in court, because of his driving style.

@@petervankas1352In my area in the UK, one of these cretins went through a red light, averaging 80mph on a 30mph road, he then went through the red lights on a PELICAN crossing about 20’ 0” further on and hit a woman who was crossing (lights were green from her).
He hit her so hard, she was physically decapitated and she was thrown about 100 feet - everything was captured on camera.
The wuss cried in court when he was found guilty of manslaughter.
I believe he got battered when he landed in prison, because everyone’s got a Mum and Grandma.

The energy it must take to be this gross to random people on the internet tells me everything about the people you are. The times I’ve seen on various Police SM Pages of major criminals caught after a routine stop for a minor traffic offence….
And lets not forget Peter Sutcliffe was caught after a traffic stop, combined with a copper’s nose.

I’m a professional driver, (HGV1 / Cat CE), and use quality dashcams. Times I see blues behind while on the motorway, only for some less observant CW to hold them up a minute later cos they Havent noticed or hear them…
I’ll sometimes pull away swiftly in my Zaffy, but am pretty observant and pay plenty of attention. Surprisingly nippy for a granddad mobile, the Zaffy

When teaching family members to drive, I’ve asked, “Without looking in your mirrors, what’s behind you?”, or, “What was that warning sign we just passed?”
Kept em on their toes & paying attention!
The so called poor lad as some will say only has his self to blame but one thing he probably takeaway from this is understanding and realising how he came into that position and learn something from it which is all part of experience as a driver which he clearly had zero of which is clearly shown in the footage. It’s worrying that some people can’t see the common sense reason behind all this and sad that Ben has had to explain this really just shows how brain dead some people are
If you watched these series from Bradford and surrounding areas. Driving with no insurance is rife. There's a common joke. 1 car 6 drivers. There'll be a car insured and registered to one person then lots of others drive them. Why so any hit and runs in this area. I've had numerous run ins with people from this area who think red lights are optional who force there way through traffic at high speed. 99% of the time it's the same people.

Until the end of December 2023, uniformed responders (Police, Ambulance, Fire) can get hot drinks for free in any ASDA store (Costa Express / Leon machine) or café.
You would blow a fuse now mate, this sort of thing happens everywhere, traffic has been cut to the bone, you are best out of it.
best thing i ever saw was some nob head at otley road junction in a golf R couldnt wait for the lights to go and went just before and at the same time another nobhead went through a red in a audi and both went straight in to side of him.. its bradford. its full of them but we cant say what its full of these days because its not that its just 'immature drivers'

It's only no insurance. What a bunch of Clowns. Let them say that when they get their vehicle totaled . Or if someone lands in their lounge. With no payout. And the bill falls on them. That's if they are lucky enough to not get put in hospital.

I’ve gone through that before and it was an absolute nightmare to sort out
Not to mention the inconvenience caused f losing the car I was going to pass down to my eldest son
I mean people are just stupid. If he crashes and isn’t insured, then that gives problems to the individual he crashed into. Also i can’t believe people said “profiling” road traffic act says “standard of driving falls below what would be expected of a competent and careful driver” like you mentioned. If he hasn’t seen you in his mirrors he’s failed his driving test. If he drives like he would if he was taking a test then he wouldn’t have been pulled.
I'd been stopped for driving like a tool. Held my hands up and said I was. Traffic officer reported minimal traffic, clear conditions and in control of the car.
The roads were not quiet although clear lane to pass.
I should have lost my licence yet got to keep it paid the fine and got points. Passed over 100, clocked at 84 in 50.
Those two officers were decent because I'd given them respect, I got that in return.

Anyone commenting negatively against your actions in the show are the same types you used to arrest or seize cars from. They think breaking the law isn't anything bad and as a result resent anyone that could take them to task for it
I work with a few Specials, & they too get nervous when a cop car’s behind them.

retired now 40 yrs movies post production --- - various occasions police helped me --- over years various crashes breakdowns -- police always professional in my experience -- always correct cars // driving out of trowbridge wiltshire -- porsche get pulled ... oh no ... police is that the flat six water cooled ... no air cooled now since late 90s yeah ... oh thats a shame .. done nothing wrong mate ... just wanted low down on car good guys ---- used to travel a lot for work /// months later left car at trowbridge p station -- Im away for a month if you want to try it .... took all the papers correct car -- got home weeks later --- car on drive all cleaned detailed note cheers mate etc added a thousand miles on the clock !!! oh well on lease get a new one next year ..... // true story ... that was ten years back ... great cars --- but drive like a loon license would be gone in a week .... acceleration was a bit bonkers ... /// near trowbridge rugby club on way to chippenham ...

3:20 nervous in front of the police actually has a name! It’s a phenomenon that comes from America from the LAPD - basically when you drive like shit because you’ve seen marked car following you and you’re focusing on the mirror and not the road - it’s called ‘Black & White fever’.

I love it now I’m older I can afford to insure both my modded focus rs with all mods declared and a new golf r with a titanium exhaust. As far as I’m concerned I can accelerate as fast as I want up to the limit and you cannot do shit. Insurance etc, fair cop.

6:57 UK's vehicle insurance law is a racket. You don't insure every visitor in your house, but you have to insure every driver of your vehicle. This is nonsense. The owner is the one who should be made responsible. If someone else totalled the car, it should be on the owner to take the blame and cover the costs if the car is not covered by insurance. This would also teach some people who are lending their motors to morons.
Or you follow the route some countries have where you insure the vehicle, not the driver? It would have a similar end result

Golf R has quad exhaust tips. The one in the video does not. Also has GTI alloys and not R alloys.
