One day a week all motorists should leave their cars and take public transport and see how that goes for London
Who actually dumps millions of tonnes of rubbish in the ocean it's not us😢😢😊
You'll be surprised that part of it, comes from us and the rest of the world, Bcos it goes in the containers and shipped out IE Africa which is turning it into a landfill, the t-shirts that is not 100% cotton has plastic in them which is not recyclable gets burnt over there, right next to the sea, you really have to dig deep and when you do find it, it gets deleted
I think Thames water are responsible for at least some of the polution currently floating around in the ocean, And i don't mean the stuff in rubber boats 😀

yeah, by all accounts we shit on our doorsteps.
They should have paid from the start. Its a "congestion" charge, not a "pollution" charge.
Yes, but the Greens say the change is in the name of air pollution! Bonkers!
"What if a small group of world leaders were to conclude that the principal risk to the Earth comes from the actions of the rich countries?... In order to save the planet, the group decides: Isn't the only hope for the planet that the industrialized civilizations collapse? Isn't it our responsibility to bring that about?" - Maurice Strong (First Director of the United Nations Environment Program)
Nope its a fraud
Irrelevant. It's not unknown for government officials to declare something that they interests or stock in. Refer to Nancy Pelosi and how she made millions from announcing California will become an all electric car State by the year 2035. Coincidently she bought stock in Tesla prior to this announcement.
Congestion creates pollution, it’s the same thing. They are trying to clean up the city’s air but also limit everyone from going

It's almost like the congestion charge and ULEZ are two separate charges for two different things! How totally unexpected.
I'm sure ULEZ like everything else will become more "inclusive".
I heard a government spokesperson let slip on the radio that "we need 20% less vehicles on the Road by 2030"
which says it all... Peace

What's wrong with them? Lpg is much cleaner and always been. Belgium, Poland and Italy is full of lpg cars and the fuel is much cheaper than here (currently 60p in Belgium and 55p in Poland whereas I have to pay £1 in my nearest village lpg pump).

Ding Ding Ding --- Pay by the mile
Watermelon 🍉😂
Pay per mile, WILL come to Britain. As long as the Mayor of London dictates. Watch this space folks. 😢
That particular Communist already has far too much say over areas that could never credibly be identified as 'London' for my liking.. Sunak has only just denied him the right to expand ULEZ even further than he already has done, but if all goes as predicted on Thursday that will very likely be reversed.. and Khan's tyrannical globalist infection will be allowed to run-riot through the country unchecked..
@stephenrose783
> Pay per mile, WILL come to Britain.
And what's wrong with that? People who own more than one car won't be paying road tax on the one(s) they're not using at any particular time.
People who don't do many miles won't be subsidising high-mileage drivers.
Do you think that people should just pay a flat fee for electricity or gas, no matter how much or how little they use, or do you think that payments which reflect someone's consumption is a fairer system?
@@anonnona8099 What's wrong with that? So much!

@@anonnona8099what's wrong with that?
"They" want us living in 15 minute cities and not going anywhere. Pay per mile will facilitate this! We need to fight against it.
We already pay per mile with the fuel and electricity that power our vehicles, they want to charge us per mile ON TOP of that. We have the right to freely travel this country under common law, if I've already paid for the means for my car to make the journey then that is my right, I'm not gonna sit back back and let another greedy government that does nothing but take my money, keep me trapped in dead end work and provide no services to me take even more of my money simply for exercising my right to travel in a car I've already paid tax, extortionate insurance that includes taxes and fuel duty on. No, they take enough money, if reach into my pocket again they will not take my money, I will take their hand!
They’re wealthy tax dodgers. Time they got their comeuppance.
Wow... Real journalism. Well done GBC. Keep doing what you're doing!
Proof that these charges levied on motorists have absolutely nothing to do with emissions !!
The great zero emissions con job.
Agreed. But congestion charge (as the name suggests) is mainly aimed at too much traffic, not emissions. EVs will still be exempt from ULEZ, for now.
The EV chickens come home to? Be turned into poor Sheep!

15 a day, obviously 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂the government clearly needs the money more than I need food😂😂😂😂😂
It's to make sure the imagrints get a nice hotel and iPhone, if ur British and paying taxes then you don't matter
Congestion suddenly became a problem after Red Ken de-phased traffic lights and changed more lanes than necessary into bus lanes. London traffic was "fine" in 1999... so much so that one had to watch one's speed.
Most problematic even then were the tractors blocking roads to pick up the darlings in the afternoon and to drop them off in the morning. Seems that the Gucci footwear is unsuitable for walking.

You are right on all cases once again!!
I’m pretty sure the whole idea of the EV push was to make them super ‘affordable’ to run whilst everyone jumps on the band wagon of driving remote controlled cars, then as soon as most people have bit, remove the benefits of having one, and remove the ability to buy a new petrol car.
My only 'surprise' here is that they've announced the end the subsidies now, instead of waiting another year to break the bad news.
