"Headphones for the eyes" is actually a brilliant way of marketing it. Jobs had such a talent for this.
He said headphones for "video" so the "headphones for the eyes" is all you bro - get it trademarked !!!
it's more than marketing it's a thinking framework.
Is it? I don't think that explaining what it does is the biggest obstacle for marketing
Noise canceling for your eyes
Yeah bro, I kinda miss him. Prefer him over Timmy at least
Damn bro, Apple needs to post this as a commercial! Great job!
Thank you!
Yeah
I'm pretty certain Apple will be asking their team why they didn't come up with this. Great job.
Yeah, I just assumed this was an genuine Apple commercial, and a great one at that! BennySGB deserves some serious Apple bucks! 💰
But they didn't invent that. Just saying
More than a decade after he's gone, Steve Jobs still continues to be the visionary and the best marketer for Apple's products

Better than every vision pro commercial damn Steve jobs was the man
There’s like one commercial. Its been announced for 5 seconds lol. Let it cook a bit.
Honestly felt like a modern day Apple ad, well done, ask for a commission. Truly wish they would bring back more steve job quotes, he was a visionary
I thought this was made by apple until I noticed the channel name. great job!
That means a lot! Thanks!

Kinda wished that steve could announce this product
Same 😢
With AI I think he can.
Maybe they rename Siri someday with Steve. Someday if this thing is good and not a shame like today 😂
Steve would’ve made this even bigger with his personality
He can't. He's dead.
7 months later, Apple publishes their own commercial with this exact song...
Wasn’t the ad with this song shown at WWDC in June 2023 though?
Apple is crazy if they don't use this to help sell their AR. Well done!!
Using dead Steve’s words to sell their current products would be cynical and weird. Even more dystopian than the product itself.
@@IvanNedostal ok but you're just flat out lying. The resolution per eye is said to be around 3800x3000 which would add up to the 23 million total pixels that they advertise. 3800x3000 is considerably better than 4k, about 37% in total. And considering the quest 2 is an ok experience especially to people who've never used vr, and uses ONE THIRD of the pixels that the Vision Pro will use, says everything. Also where tf did you get 40 fps from? Do you work for Meta or something? The vision pros vps is variable but stays around 90fps for almost everything and will ramp up to 96 fps for certain content. I would assume it would also sometimes go down but only when they're able to sneak it in to save battery without ruining any experience.
@@IvanNedostal check all the reviews of the people who have actually tried it on. Not one bad review yet about quality of image.
@@IvanNedostal The default framerate is 90FPS with an overdrive mode at 96FPS. The resolution is over 4K per eye for a total combined of 23Mpx. Pretty solid specs.
@@IvanNedostal you are just hateful of apple and spreading misinformation about apple product , its 90fps by default and 4k is very clear , its uses 4k oled , ever saw a LG 4k oled tv ? , its so good , imagine instead of 65inch flatscreen , imagine that everywhere around you, it would be so clear and jaw dropping
This commercial would have made more sense for apple than the commercial they made themselves. This is quick, gets to the point, and gives the viewer a quick and easy rundown on the product. WAY better than trying to sell it as a *life changing* and *better workflow blah blah blah* like apple did for a kind of niche market product. Nice Job!
Apple will choose whatever generates more revenue. I'm pretty sure with Apple being Apple they know what they're doing - their marketing is unbeatable
@@slavaffs yeah this punches hard, and maybe paints steve as a little overzealous which is bit sharp given the aesthetic of apple's current style of marketing.
@billschannel1581 But it is a life changing product.
@@jamieredgate602 reread my comment more slowly
@@slavaffs No, he makes a good point.
The fact that Apple just came out with a commercial a few hours ago using the same track in the similar way to me feels like them acknowledging this video.
They already used the same song in WWDC 2023
apple used this song in the new ad for it
Very well done and something Apple should use :)
Need to address this to apple. Best way to market this product.
Hey, what does your name mean?
He was a visionary. Great job on the commercial!
He was a marketing genius, not a visionary. When he introduced the macintosh, he thought people were too stupid to handle two mouse buttons. All the technology he ‘invented’ already existed. When he introduced the iPad, he thought it could replace laptops without including a mouse driver. Nothing new with VisionPro, either. Here they’ve made the mistake of not including VR controllers.
@@clau0072 It's not hard to envision something that already exists. I read about VR headsets in the '80's in computer magazines. Steve Jobs sounded like it didn't exist yet.
Your post sums up the apple experience: Take ideas from other people & market them as yours.
The speech he made was 1960s stuff. 😉
@@Refreshment01 Are you saying the video of Jobs is from the 60's?
It definitely is not. Those interviews he did was in the 80's and 90's. Apple was founded ca. 1975.
@@NoX-512... Did AR exist in the 80s? Or at the time of the interview? No! Steve is describing AR not VR! And that "VR headset" from the 80s is just a picture or a film in front of two lenses. Not a high res see-trough display.
They should use that as an ad
omg yes. i'm trying to write a comment but i'm currently blown away by this mashup, jeezus 😳
That's actually a great ad, it simplifies the purchase decision down to a single reason, having a theatre in your own house, suddenly the price actually sounds more appealing.
You can build a really nice home theater in your house for way less than $3500 though. And you get the bonus of not looking like an idiot for wearing it in public, or an easy mugging target.
@@Falinzin Who cares if you look like an idiot? What matters is how well it functions. I don't care what other people think of how I look if it functions well.
@@Falinzin That's not entirely true since you'd first need a spare room to turn into a home theater. If you're renting, or living in a small apartment this could be a reasonable solution. Having said that, using the vision pro as a home cinema is going to be a lonely experience since you can't share headsets. That's actually one of the major problems that needed solving.
Not for everyone. For me the productivity side of it has the most appeal. I use between 4-7 monitors daily so the idea of being able to put that all into a headset I can use anywhere and being able to get rid of my computer set up and turn my home office into a multi use room is an incredible prospect to me.
I live with my partner and rarely watch things alone, so that selling point while cool, doesn’t really apply to my use case. I’m sure it’s true for a large number of potential buyers.
Its not just limited to theatre experience. You can watch a space movie sitting on the surface of Mars, a period movie sitting in an 18 th century drama theatre, avatar 3 sitting in the Amazon forest and so on.
These are just some of the possibilities by which this device can enrich the viewing experience. Even the film makers can concurrently release a pack for the appropriate environment in which they want us to watch their movies. The future is cool.
Took me ages to realise this wasn’t an actual ad. Seriously, this is amazing and caught my attention and imagination more than any of the official ads. They oughta hire you!
Legitimately the best ad I've seen for this.
Super strong Jobs vibes in this product. Well done Cook and Apple and of course Steve for passing on his company with such strong principles, values and design.
HAHAHHAHAHHAAHHHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAH xdd
Principles? Maybe just slightly more then the other tech giants but what that’s a real low bar.
I mean, given how Jobs started trying to con Wozniak for money before even making their first product, I'm inclined to agree that the company inherited his principles.
This is dope.
Thanks!
Wow ! Steve Jobs had this idea since he was a CEO which is over 10 years ago, Apple should have mentioned this in the keynote, and then "here we are."
VR isnt a groundbreaking idea. You can count it back into the 19th century
@@AngryApple Yes, that's right, but the way I like about Apple is, "it's not important to be the first, but it's important to be the best", Apple is not the first to invent many things, but Apple have made sure to be the best, obviously this Vision Pro is an amazing technology, but many people don't like the price including me.
It even goes back to the 18th century, with still images of course. But the idea is not new. Apple isn’t best at anything but marketing.
@@NoX-512 It's not just the marketing Apple is good at, it's the technology they put into their products, like what they put in Smart watch, Airpod, Phone, smart phone OS, computer for Pro and average consumers... they are all still advance in the market, I know Apple product is a bit pricey, but about the quality, you get what you paid for.
They wouldnt do that. They trampled on what Steve Jobs created with their money hungry attitude and shit practices. Invoking his name or image would be a completely dick move after shit they've pulled

Goosebumps. Such an unbelievable visionary Steve Jobs was.
He died when I was around 10 and didn't have the money to buy ANY apple product. And yet I could understand we lost a genius, I connected with him every time I saw him on TV, and now I use a Mac for work as a programmer, I KNEW he was a real one and this is just another proof long after his death, many technical workers had a bad time with him as I understand it because he was incredibly or even unrealistically demanding, and if I worked for him I imagine I would know, but he was a true genius.

@@FSK1138 This goes way back, Heilig prototypes gained notoriety in the 1960s, and more products came after that, doesn't take away from Steve Jobs, who described the potencial of such a product, in my opinion it gives you a taste of his obsession with future devices and how it would affect the market. The secret sauce is in how he values the impact of such a device, and how he was actively thinking about it for more than a decade before the technology enabled Apple to produce a draft, instead of coming up with a mediocre product like so many companies did in the 90s.

I don't think many would disagree that this headset has the most polished hardware and software out of and headset to date, especially for a mass manufactured one (though they'll probably not be able to sell more than 1M at most given the price and the complexity of making the product), even if it doesn't have many features that are brand new.

Sure, they made the Apple Watch, but we already had smart watches and it was nothing CRAZY. But, I give credit where it’s due. @Ramp The source is trust me bro
Sometimes companies will spread false rumors to hype up their products, sometimes people spread some claims to make their report credible.
iPhone 7 and then iPhone 8 were very
a big disappointment for people since people kept saying that Apple is not adding any new technology nor changing the design and that made Apple sales to drop significantly so Apple came up with a false story saying that the FBI requested to remotely access thr information of one iPhone for a suspect with serious accusation and Apple denied them the access because that's how they care about the privacy of others which of course it's just a bs
If you think 2-3 years too soon for the competition ( or even Apple ) to make the same device for cheaper price tag, then buckle up and get ready
Hint : Apple ALWAYS release the limited vision that has the name of the product and the pro version thst includes more features but with the vision they only showed us the trailer for the vision PRO and not just vision
There’s something called, “ecosystem” and the competitors don’t have it so the product will never be better than Apple’s
And yet they'll move with it like a dog on a leash. Unpredictable yet bound.
Maybe there will be cheaper ones, yes, but its still a long way from now where the other companies will be able to match the quality of the Vision Pro's.
@@ramp6727Well, they could technically remove the front OLED display and also use chips which aren't on par with and are cheaper than M1 and R1, they can probably make users tied to their ecosystem of services and even show ads under the flying televisions.
