  • This video is about Apple, but mainly; it’s about Tim Cook. His journey, and how he carried a legacy to greater heights than anyone thought possible. Apple, completely and utterly, would not exist without Steve Jobs; and though his gifts to the world can be seen in the incredible technology of his legacy, the Mac, the iPod, the iPhone… The greatest thing he ever did… *for Apple*… was Tim Cook.
    Steve was the visionary, the enigma, the polarizing leader that bent the world, and the people around him, to his vision of perfection… but Tim… Tim is the workhorse in the background, the logistics genius, the leader that finds perfection *in* the people and technology around him, and gets the job done.
    Steve Jobs made Apple. Tim Cook made Apple the most successful company on the planet. Here’s how he did it.
    Special thanks to Tripp Mickle & Concept Central

    This is one of the best documentaries I’ve ever seen. Well paced, well written, beautifully timed and delivered. Phenomenal work. Just saw this on my feed and decided to watch it. I’ve been a fan of Tim for years now. Seems like a humble, down to earth guy, who happens to be a brilliant businessman.
    I’ve been using Apple products for some years now and they’ve absolutely enhanced my life. I have an iPhone, AirPods, Watch and Mac Air; and the best way I can put it is that all of these products add incredible convenience to my life while being extremely simple and reliable to use. Apple has the best technology ecosystem in the world and it’s absolutely no surprise that they have the money that they do.

    The way I see them is, if Steve job is an unstoppable force that occasionally falls apart then tim cook is an immovable force that occasionally moves forward but never breaks down

    Jon and Brian, watching this documentary was like Picasso, Mozart, all the greats of their generation combined in 1 documentary. I have seen a lot in my 69 years. This is a MASTERPIECE OF JOURNALISM that you have created. I got so emotional that I was close to tears. YOU GUYS KILLED, CRUSHED OBLITERATED THIS UNBELIEVABLE DOCUMENTARY IN A WAY THAT I HAVE VERY SELDOM SEEN. IF YOU AND BRIAN NEVER DO A SIMILAR DOC OR ANY DOC FOR THAT MATTER, NO THIS: THIS IS PURE GENIUS!!!!

    Jon, for me this is the best video you've done so far. Not only for the fact that it took me back to my youth when everything was different and we were dreaming and inspired by the times we were living in, but also for the fact that you shared things that I have been thinking about for a long time. It was a very touching experience. Thank you!

    This is an AWESOME documentary. Well-paced, music, your narration - even made my eyes a little misty. Jobs laid the foundation, and Cook built the skyscraper. This made me an even bigger Apple fan than I already am haha. It's just hard to imagine what else they could even innovate next, but I'm looking forward to being surprised.

    I am one of those that never experienced Apple under Steve that you mentioned. Honestly hearing that Tim is just a few years from leaving Apple sounds scary? It feels weird having Apple without him since this is the Apple I grew up with. Apple without Tim doesn’t feel like Apple. I guess this is what it was like for everyone else when Steve Jobs died, probably even stronger… But like Tim did after Steve, lets hope the next CEO proves to be as great as the two before him

    • @nuberodesign
      @nuberodesign 3 месяца назад +1

      I’m very sorry for you. Apple under Cook is not Apple at all but just a husk. You should have been there when Jobs dropped the “i” from “iCEO”. The shivers we got back then were quite something. I can only imagine feeling joy for that company in that sense once more when Tim drops the “CEO” from *his* title…
